Eve Malusion

So my return home spell will literally return me home? Sweet.

Well, I was already expecting this in the first place, I appreciate them at least giving a notice ahead of time since it was pretty much guaranteed that they would be swamped. I'll probably just get up for when the servers do, do my darndest to be one of the first people in, and then not log out again untill things stabilize.

Just an update for the other EU purchasers. I have now gotten my code and have heard of people getting them throughout the day, so they are now sending them out. I also didn't have to go through 2 steps for it (I heard something about one code to get the 20 digit code), they just send you the 20 digit code that you need to use and you're good to go.

Considering how big hyped MMOs usually are at launch, I'd be more worried if there weren't stress related issues. I have yet to see any big MMO launch without stress issues at the start, and I would be more inclined to believe it was a lack of interest over superior tech on their side if they didn't.

So for EU players at least, if we don't get a code by Thursday then we can start panicking haha. Well at least we know, appreciate you checking.

I haven't worried too much up to now because the EU one also says "You don’t need to do anything now. We’ll email you again near the time that the Early Access starts with the next steps." I do however get more worried the closer it gets to early access, especially seeing as they're supposed to open to register today.

Ok, the email should be from digitalriver ([email protected]). Click the email, scroll down to the very bottom. 4 blocks of text up it will say: I ordered digital version from the SE store too and didn't get any code. I only got an email from SE and one from PayPal with the receipt. Sini and I are both EU so I don't know if that has something to do with it. Better go contact support then... Same problem. Also EU. As far as I know this is purely an EU SE store problem.

That surprises me. I also wants to know how you know, with the limit cap being 20! They did show 3 kinds of carbys didn't they? In a letter? Even though the level cap was 20, you could still see all of the skills up to lv50 you'll eventually get for the class you currently are in your Actions & Traits menu. There's also this wiki. Not to hijack, but I was checking out that link and found myself poking at the Summoner page. Maybe I missed something in one of the newer letters...but I only see the Ifrit Egi on the page? Wasn't there Shiva and others in one of the letter videos? At launch you're confirmed to only have Ifrit, Titan and Garuda as far as I know, though they said they might add more further down the line. The summoning spells that you use for carbuncles will be used to summon the other 2.

Well, before the open beta I was worried that my character would feel slow or look awkward as a caster. Very happy to say I was completely wrong and love how it looks more than ever, also their eyes are amazing. Surprisingly, I actually found it looking more awkward as a marauder than as a caster. Usually I'm part of the people that don't like to play tall characters, but my roe is on the shorter side (6'4, 194cm), so it's not ridiculously tall, I think if I went full height I would be bothered by it. Though I do feel a desire to punt Lalafells while playing now.

Just for the record, the 4.5 million thing is some guy that misread something gaining momentum. He thought it was 150k people concurrent per server and then timed it by the amount of servers. There are no actual numbers on how many unique players there were as far as I know.

Got one more spotting during the extended bit. It's Myxie Tryxle, also fishing. Thought I saw Eva but it was a different Eva.

Well it's more of a gesture than anything. They can't really do any major extension since they need time to work on everything between OB and EA.

Adventuring is fun, took over a hundred screenshots in hopes of getting some not terrible ones, so I'll just be looking through that while waiting for early access. A few from my adventures to places that are much higher level than me and I almost died a lot; that carbuncle seriously took quite a few hits for the team on that trip! Then I noticed this juggling Lalafell in Ul'dah that I had apparantly missed every single time there, and spent more time than I'd like to admit staring at him. Also these two, who taught me many things, for one, there are pipe animations.

Think I saw Isobeau yesterday in western Thanalan. Also saw Nel in Limsa at some point, aside from that I haven't seen anyone in the last 2 days Everyone kind of just disappeared after the first day, and I was all excited with recognizing people too.

I take it this is why I've been spotting progressively fewer people from the forums, and in general, as time passes then?

Went on a fishing adventure, not sure eating the spoils would be a good idea.

I made a tumblr that I did literally nothing with after making it, think I'm going to turn it into a place to put my screenshots.

I had it, but for me it sorted itself out in about 10 minutes.

Salty Lake, Shizu, L'card, Guldthota. More that I can't remember anymore, there were so many and I know some from other places.

Uhhm, I can't vouch for this because I'm slow and I haven't hit it yet, but people in shout have been saying you can get an airship pass at level 15 after completing your Story Quest. May or may not be accurate, don't hit me! That is indeed accurate from what I saw in phase 3.

Realised I hadn't done any class quests, went to do that one and... oh god... it is awful... also other people I recognize from the forums getting harassed when trying to complete it! How exciting.

What situation is it failing in? Just in general? At least for PC it shows up unless you hide it, but I have a controller and have yet to find out how to hide it without using my keyboard.

I will say this though, this is my favorite class after trying all of them so far. Also I'm making mental notes every time I recognize someone from the forums. Been grouping with someone called "Eve's Stalker", a coincidence I'm sure.

I will once the beta forums stop being dead from congestion. Really my motivation for arcanist is just I like dots and Limsa.
