I'm actually from 4chan. (See? We're not all bad) Once I saw everyone freaking out about 4chan going to Gil, I immediately provided proof to quell the upset. Gilgamesh is going to be THE most populated realm. We're going to be dealing with all types here. Honestly, my concern is more of locked servers rather than reddit and the other communities. Besides, tons of people from Reddit have actually expressed interest in RP and actually joined these forums. Applying blanket statements to entire communities is bad, m'kay.

4chan is going to Ultros, not Gilgamesh. Dig in, we knew it would be tough. We were bound to meet SOME resistance. Now isn't the time to quit, it's the time to push forward.

This is excellent news, just the fact that they acknowledge it as an issue and are looking into correcting it is enough for me.

I 100% agree, my lady Noire happens to be a fantastic cook. She spoils me. Also, no shame in living at home at this age, I'm 23, Noire is 26, and we are both crashing at my 'rents place for the time being. (Granted, we are looking to move out soon.)

You are correct, it will be a hold item. How you activate it however is unknown. My guess? It activates at the 30% threshold like a berry.

You do realize that's not how queue times work, right? Larger servers = more people queueing up = more queues Smaller servers = less people queueing up = fewer queues

Okay? So what? Not everyone from those communities are bad. A LOT of redditers actually want to RP. Hell, I found this site on 4chan and I'm certainly not looking to be toxic in any way. If it seriously bothers you that much, roll on Balmung. But honestly you are blowing it way out of proportion. You will meet griefers no matter what realm you go to.

Well technically you can do anything you'd like. But well, crossing the beams on other types of lore can pose a problem. A lot of people will view you as someone just creating a "special snowflake" character that you want to stand out just for the sake of being unique. Most easy-going people won't pay mind to it, but you WILL encounter players who simply refuse to even interact with you for technically "breaking" lore. EDIT: That said, taking lore with a grain of salt is fine, just be sure to not go TOO out there to avoid anything crazy. Your best bet is to post your story here on the forums actually. Tons of people will be more than helpful with constructive feedback. Good luck!

My thoughts? My thoughts are that I have dealt with every gen, accepting that there are always dud Pokemon in every set. But this? Mega Evolutions aren't a Pokemon feature. Know what they are? Temporary evolution in battle. Do you know what THAT is? A Digimon feature. I've been a Pokemon fan since I was around... Oh... 6? And with every game I have looked at every new feature, every new Pokemon and tried to remain 100% objective. But now? Depending on how this is implemented? It may be the end of the franchise for me, it's already not looking good however regardless with how well they explain and/or implement it.

I don't know about that. Me and some friends went back to our old Nintendo games... Contra, Life Force etc... and I swear those games are harder than today's genre of games. So I don't really think so. I think things are more shiny, but at the end of the day I still go back to my NES if I want some really hard challenges. So I don't think it effects Rpers that much since many of us like to see the entire game. This. 100% this. Newer games are far too easy. I used to get blisters on my palms playing old N64 games, and have my thumbs cramp up on my NES or SNES. Nowadays I'm just typically bored. If anything the system is catering to aging gamers.

I'm actually on Disc III of IX, also thinking of playing through VI after the open beta ends to kill some time before early access.

For Selsix this would most certainly be a small pocket watch that he carries on him at all times, supposedly left for him by his mother. It serves as a personal identifier, as well as a clue to his preferred deity, Althyk.

That's only if you get the crazy veggie subs. Almost all of subway's meat heavy subs are just as bad for you as that triple baconator from Wendy's. Subway sucks. But yes, those cookies are awesome. BUY THEM.
