Sorry, not in My American Housing Wards. i180 item level sync, usual PvP rules apply with shortened debuff and buff durations. Return and Teleport would be disabled, no more mounts... no more sprint. No items. Fox only. Final Destination.

Can fix the housing problem easily. Just make the housing wards open PvP zones and if you kill the owner of a house you take their plot as a prize. Encourages community interaction and gives everyone a fair shot at obtaining a house. Watch out for roving FC gank bands!

I think the most exciting thing about this re-release is the promise of HD sound. As impressive as the voice acting was, it was compressed to hell and back so the game could fit on a PS2 disc. Sounded like everyone was talking into a styrofoam cup. Also re-recorded music and the option to switch between new and original. Looks like SE learned their lesson from the original FFX HD. Judging by the music in the trailer it seems like the new music may be closer to the originals, but who knows. At least we know for a fact we'll be getting another version of the BEST version of Battle on the Big Bridge. MY JAM. Reeeeeeally hoping this gets some kind of collector's edition. I usually never go for that kind of stuff, but since this is one of my favorite games there are no limits.

Japanese audio is being included in the release though why anyone would want to listen to that over the Glorious English Dub is beyond me. Nice to see we're getting the IZJS version, but I wonder if we'll be allowed to play the vanilla version as well. Something something something reconstructed game design and new systems, cautiously optimistic. I don't know about the rest of you but I can't wait to play the crap out of a game I've already played the crap out of several times. Any hype I could feel for XIV or XV is just a fart in the wind compared to how much I anticipate this game... again. In fact, SE could literally swap this game and XV's release dates and I would not care one bit. It's a pretty divisive game in a long series, so even if you hated this game I'd still like to hear your thoughts. Though I think we can all agree THE ZODIAC AGE subtitle is like, over the top lame.

Okay I'm sorry friends I should have said AMERICAN anime adaptations. Japan handles them well enough. Even the video game ones. The Phoenix Wright live action film was perfect.

So this can't possibly turn out worse than The Last Airbender. Probably. Has there ever actually been a good live action anime adaptation? Because I can't think of any. I'm sure most people know well enough to not get their expectations up. At the very least the action and special effects will be quite good. It will probably be mostly action... none of that... talking stuff they do in GitS. About politics and the military and the net and those other complicated things. It would simply be too much.

That survey is months old now. Most people assumed it had to do with coinciding release dates, since Persona 5 is also slated to release sometime this year. That is most likely why they asked. Definitely something that was more targeted to the Japanese audience, as well.

Ughhh Suikoden. Why'd you have to remind me. Somehow the Tales games keep getting sequels pumped out, Star Ocean too. They're ok, but there are much better series they are letting whither. My favorite new IP of the past decade got fucked up as well, as they're turing Valkyria Chronicles into either anime highschool waifu games or generic action RPG. I feel you. Tales has been on a steady decline since Vesperia, so I'm not as excited about those as I used to be. And don't remind me about the rampant surge of waifu moe shit taking over once-good series! Look at Fire Emblem... Sure, they've always had that anime aesthetic, and being able to pair off units has been around since forever but Jesus CHRIST. Not like this. Never like this. What the hell, Japan.

The chances of a new Wild Arms game is slim to none. If it does get a new game, it will almost certainly be Japan-only and for mobile. The mobile gaming market in Japan is simply too large, it absorbs all it can. I too mourn the death of series like Suikoden, Wild Arms, Arc the Lad, Valkyrie Profile... but there is naught to be done for them any longer. Japan just has shit taste in games anymore. Dragon Quest is garbage. There, I said it.

I'm on the fence about it too (mostly I just want an excuse to play it again). Emulating the IZJS version in upscaled 1080p is already an amazing experience, the game looks great with no tampering outside of an increased resolution... If SE just did that and added like, decompressed sound, the game would be perfect. But if they pull an FFX and outsource the "remastering" to a backwater company to remake the character models into freakish abominations... no thanks!

The Woad set from Sohm Al will probably be your best bet.

Brown. She seems very real. A natural pretty. Only slightly plain, which will make her stand out without being obnoxious. The hairstyle is nice. I'm really fond of her appearance.

So looks like the leak was correct, September 30th release date. But before all that we get a free demo, free mobile game, free anime, and a possibly free(??) feature length CGI movie with an actual celebrity voice cast...
