I'm terrified about tomorrow, the wave of new RPers wanting to jump in just getting blocked by a giant wall of "NAY, TOO MUCH RP FER ONE SERVER." - But it's still awesome that Gilgamesh is getting the backdraft of the attention. Who knows, maybe Gilgamesh will convince you to love it more than it's big brother Balmung! Either way, good luck in trying to get in!

Welcome~! And nooooo, embrace the inner nerd! Besides, it's like, 2013. Nerd is a compliment now compared to the 90s. I think you'll find that a lot of RPers share that mindset. A lot of us tend to be OOC way more than IC. Bouncing around cities and just chatting about nothing, and then we pivot and write up some masterpiece story that squeezes hearts and sears wounds. ...Don't look at me, I can't write for crap. :sleepy:

Welcooome!~ And all the Lore and story is easy to consume, the starting areas pretty much feed you everything you need to know for the basics. You'll fit riiiiiiight in, and besides... Most of us love cats... some of us love Cat people. ... No fingers being pointed. :sleepy:

Uhhm, I can't vouch for this because I'm slow and I haven't hit it yet, but people in shout have been saying you can get an airship pass at level 15 after completing your Story Quest. May or may not be accurate, don't hit me!

Not going to lie, when I saw the name C'sien I had a bit of a fanboy moment. As if I had seen Yoshi P playing. JUST SAYING, I -kinda- love your art.

I was running around in Gridania with my... vibrant bright yellow Conjurer gear. I know I saw a few familiars, though they probably didn't see me! Definiately saw Khaze'to Zhawn, and Tyakha Zhwan, saw C'sien by the Adventuring Guild, annd just ran past Taeh. I think I saw Eve, but there was about 4 Eves with different names. Either way, I'm grinding my way up to be a helpful White Mage, who will most likely fall asleep on the job, but at least I got the name Koyu Tia to myself. Muaha~

Bwaha, I got the same NA / EU servers not showing, so I fully exited the client and rebooted it, theen they started showing up. Got my character, got the name, was at the loading screen to load in, annnd Error 2002, Lobby crash. :frustrated:

Mhm, saame. But I don't think it's a crash. From reading their Twitter, they're trying to stem the flow. So they might just be outright blocking people and easing everyone on gradually so the server doesn't crash, and then no one can play. Soo, either keep trying, or be patient and try again in ten minutes... Who am I kidding, I'm spamming it till I get in! :frustrated:

Agreed! Wonderfully written, and Last of Us is a difficult one to review. Most people I've talked with about it have completely astronomically different views, some say it's a 10/10, while others think it's the exact opposite.... It's pretty much the NGE of Video games. (Insert Obscure reference) What I've been super interested in hearing about is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Yet I've avoided every single video on it because I -know- that it's coming to PC on the 28th, and I don't want to spoil a minute of it. A lot of people are comparing it as the love child of Journey and Fable. ...I rambled. :frustrated: Keep up the good writing! :thumbsup:

During adolescence, Koyu was shunned from his Miqo'te Tribe, due to his supreme inability to accomplish anything. In Tribal society, to acquire passage to manhood he had to pass his Hunt. Unfortunately, Koyu has Narcolepsy, and kept falling asleep at the worst of times. So they attempted to make him be somewhat useful and cast him to the land, not allowing him to come back until he procured something of value. To this day, he has yet to accomplish it, and instead abandoned his roots and slunk into the urban life. He's a bit of a street rat now, yet never going down to the level of thievery. In short (Too late) Koyu has traveled from city state to city state, passing out on nearby trees along the roads, or the comfiest rock within the vicinity. Currently his residence is in Gridania! You may know him from: -That guy sleeping in the most odd places. -Reject of the 'C' Miqo'te Tribe -Constantly tired and drowsy looking Miqo'te. -Any of the city states, but he's stayed in Gridania for the longest.

I feel bad for you guys... I've got 57 minutes and it started five minutes ago... On the positive side, you guys have something to look at for the next 18 hours till you can actually play anyways? ...In the mean time... :sleepy:

When I went to Anime Expo 2013, I thought to myself. "Who's the most generic blonde character that I could do, so I don't have to worry about my hair." Needless to say, I should have chosen someone with less spikes... and this was taken on Day 4, when I was in total 'zombie drained' mode. Needless to say, never again. I'll stick to what I'm good at...

Short version: Was raised French, then had to move and switch to English, haven't spoken French since. I can understand French usually when it's spoken, but I can't write it anymore. I figured I'd finally step forwards for once, I've actually been lingering around this site for about two months, but I didn't make an account till early August... Then I just continued to read anyways. With Phase 4 around the corner I figured I should break the shell... and a first post should just be an introduction... R-right? How did you get into RP? Long story short, Sister manipulated me into getting WoW, I met a guy in High School who told me about RP. My god where did the past five years of my life go. Other MMOs over the years? WoW (Constantly RPing) GW2 (Off and on RP) Tera (Not, a single, word.) I'm a one trick pony, I didn't really jump from MMO to MMO, I stay with one for eons then shift. However I continued RPing in WoW right up until about... the end of 2012. Since the other two were not subscription anyways. RP Experience? Started in WoW around 2009, RP'd pretty constantly till GW2 came out, then shut down a bit because I loved the actual -gameplay- way too much. Once I had the best gear possible at that time, I got slightly bored and moved back to RPing. Which is where I met one of my all time favourite RP guilds, and my -first- 'evil' RP experience. As I mentioned, I have never to date RP'd in Tera. As for forum or tabletop... Never done either! Although I have done quite a bit of one on one RP using Skype. (Sounds suggestive... It's not.) Literacy? I'll be honest, English isn't my strongest point, but it's definitely not my weakest.I passed Grade 12 English with a B, so it's not horrible. Though, Roleplaying has increased my vocabulary tenfold compared to actual school. RP is so interesting in the sense you may be teaching someone a new word without realizing it. Instead of asking you what the word is, they'll go look it up. Then they'll use it, I remember learning to replace 'up' with 'skywards' or 'turn' with 'pivot' from roleplay. POINT IN FACT, VIDEO GAMES ARE BETTER TEACHERS, HALF LIFE THREE CONFIRMED. How did you find out about RPC? Google... admittedly I was looking for what 'RP friendly' features that FFXIV:ARR was going to feature...
