I know we've all cringed over a "rouge" or a "drani". Every game have some words or sentences that people just can't seem to get right, and of course it is the same for FFXIV. This list is not a place to call people out or make fun of them, but simply a place for people to get wiser So list the words you see misspelled, misused or in other way mistreated, and how it SHOULD be. I'll start myself. Miqo'te I've seen it spelled Mi'qote, Mikote, Mikhote, and of course Mithra. The catcirls in FFXIV are called Miqo'te. Keepers of the Moon, Seekers of the Sun It's understandable that these ones gets mixed up, but I quite often see people calling them "Keepers of the Sun", and that is actually not correct. It is Keepers of the Moon or Seekers of the Sun.

I'm sure someone from BF will be happy to come on and talk about the guild if you want that Or anything really <.< Personally, I'm usually on a bit earlier due to my timezone though.

Ah, I know the problem! I'm usually a huge alt-aholic myself, so it will be tough, having to chose more carefully this time. On the other hand, I hope it can let me focus more on one character, and really develop her rather than spreading too thin But yeah, it makes sense that having 3 of the same race/gender might end up a bit boring, so I understand if you end up booting her. She's a fun char to rp with, but I'm sure the others will be too! I'm looking forward to "meeting" Crystal

If you don't mind, I could give at least Seraj's portrait a try I usually have a bit more cartoony style, but I could try something that wasn't TOO cartoony, and I really liked the description of the picture I sadly can not promise it will be done that fast though, since I'm starting a for me larger project next week.

No worries, I try to keep it sort of short as well There's a lot of people, so I really try to just react a bit and then hand it on and see what else is happening

The quote fits perfectly, and I'm really glad that your impression of her seem to be exactly what I had hoped for ^^ It's always nice to get a chance to test out your characters, and see how they work with people, and if you manage to get their personality through as you imagine it And while she is a bit if a grifter, she's also supposed to be friendly and chatty, and able to talk her way out of some of the troubles she get herself into ^^ I really like Sondra as a char btw, are you planning to play her when the game launches, or is she made for this rp thread?

Nice podcast For the forums: I know it can be confusing, especially if you don't frequent them often, but what about, as Renaise sort of offered, get a few people to help with suggesting threads each week, because I know a lot of people (like myself) are way too active on the forum, and thus has a pretty good idea of what is going on and what might be interesting talking about About relationships... It's really tricky not to take the debate here I sort of disagree that RL relationships and OOC relationship has nothing to do with each other, as you mentioned yourself, you don't want to upset your partner, and no matter what you say, IC and OOC is NEVER completely separated. Of course it depends on your partner, but really, I don't see anything wrong with not wanting to play a relationship because you don't want to take the risk of upsetting your partner, or to mainly rp relationship with your actual partner, because you know that won't create drama. And I speak a little German But I agree, I feel it would be much more courteous to at least invite for instance German and Japanese roleplay communities to roll on the same server as us.. Or not invite, but... Suggest it And it sounds great with your big news! Good luck with that! It will be awesome, reaching out to so many more people and giving them more insight of what roleplay is And... Does that mean the spot as official RPC podcast will be open? 8-)

How do people keep up with forum rp at all? It's not about the pacing, it's fine in this thread, there's just so many people! How do people know what posts to react to?

Yeah, me too, you've gotten a ticket from me A tip for everyone who DO want tickets: Post a note in the thread discussing the ticketsystem, saying that you'll return any tickets given to you or something like that... I've gotten 40 or so in the past half hour.

I think some people are just sending out tickets, hoping to get some in return. I've gotten a couple from people who had a LOT of tickets, so it seem like it could be something like that
