You'd have an argument there if WoW still had its Vanilla-through-BC textures. It's had high resolution armor designs for a long while now, though. Right, I hope that both Au Ra supporters and detractors can come together and agree the male Au Ra hair is actual shit. Oh definitely. The male hair is ridiculous, and not in any good way. I still think FFXIV looks better. And still disagree on the Au Ra hairstyles. ^^ But as said, can't please them all.

There will ALWAYS be people who complain, no matter what. Simply because you can't satisfy them all, and that's because we all want something different. And that's completely alright, because we are individual people with individual thoughts and opinions. However, as things are, if you don't like what you see, then this is simply not what you were looking for and you have the option to leave it be. However, there are people who DO like it and they will have the option to make an Au Ra and play as them. You who DON'T like them can stay with the current race of your choice. ^^ This is the new Au Ra race. This is how they're going to be. To you who don't like them or are disappointed with the outcome of this race, I'm sorry that Squeenix didn't reach your expectations this time. Definately not as well animated as a real fighting game, but I still think the concept of it looks awesome. I'd be for it if Squeenix wanted to make this a thing.

poor Lalafell. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. Hehe, I respect my lalafell allies, but I do not see the appeal nor feel the need to play one myself. I've been playing Elezen, Hyur (both tribes) and Miqo'te mostly myself. But the Au Ra will be my new main race. ^^

Au Ra being demonic in origin would be awesome, imo. They don't have to be actual demons or voidsent, but having demonic ancestry would explain their appearance now that it has been debunked that they are related to dragons.

The Au Ra are indeed VERY anime! I think that's cool, because none of the other races are really all that anime... *looks at lalafell* ... I mean, cool-looking anime. ... *cough*

I can't freaking wait until this expansion launches! The male Au Ra looks AMAZING! I've been on hiatus from the game for a while now, but always planned on returning as soon the Au Ra were available. Can't wait. ^^

I might change an existing character into an Au Ra, however, ICly he will be a completely new character.

Thanks for your replies so far guys. Just want to point out, my Au Ra will NOT ICly be one of my current characters. He will be an all-together new person ICly. OOCly I might fantasia/name-change a toon I already have, but he will be his own character. :3

So I have a confession to make. I have set my eyes on the Au Ra. I know for sure that I will have my main be an Au Ra whenever they are available. Whether I will make an entirely new character or if I will change one of my current toons has yet to be decided though, but it is 100% sure that I will make an Au Ra my main! This has me grown restless though. I've always liked to interchange between alts, but mostly had 1 main that I always return to. But now knowing that I will change my main, I keep changing my alts... and I feel like it has gone to the point of being very disruptive to those I RP with, because I can't settle with one character and RP. I feel like I can't do any long-term RP either, because I know that as soon I can be an Au Ra, I will be an Au Ra, and then the RP I've done beforehand will most likely be neglected. So I can't commit to one toon, I can't commit to any RP - but I still WANT to RP! It's frustrating. And if it is frustrating to me, I'm sure it is also frustrating to those around me I RP with (though they are so sweet and kind that they won't admit it). My name is theincubuslord... and I have altitis. I need to change my attitude towards alts... my alt-itude, if you will. Any suggestions? Does any of you suffer from the same?
