I'm not gonna take the lorebook and use it as a ruleset. If people wanna RP a Dragoon or White Mage or Summoner etc, then they can do that. It's nice to see some concrete lore, but I don't mind people moving outside the box. And I'm gonna flip off everyone who DO use the lorebook as a strict ruleset, trying to make others follow it to the letter and harassing those who don’t.

Dancer could be the second Job class for Pugilist, which would explain how the moves look alike.

I don’t know if there will be a new race, but if there were, what would you like for it to be like? I personally would love the Viera. A male Viera would be my main. It could definitely be Yda, AND she could definitely be a Dancer as a second job class for Pugilist. It would fit with her costume theme and the fact she does the kata dancing at first, but is still doing kung fu. I was hoping to see Red Mage though. Maybe later. :3

Combine it with the Tantalus pants and the closest thing to sneakers available and you could have a modern casual outfit! I haven't gotten Zidane's set yet, but once I do, I will go for the Cody Travers look.

I kinda see it as the same as playing the Warrior of Light. You are giving your character some priviledges that he/she shouldn't actually have. Like, as if you see yourself as being a more important character in the world's lore than everybody else, because you RP as one of the "main characters" of the current history. I don't think that's cool. However, I have the attitude that anyone can play anything they want to play! As long they don't expect everyone else to accept it, should they RP something like this. But if they have friends to RP with who accept their RP, then go for it! I just personally don't like it.

After having seen 5 Haurchefants standing in Ul'dah and RP... no thanks.

Well, let's take Balmung as an example. That server is pretty full already. Is it because of the many players or the many characters that's on there? I have 2 characters on there and I can't seem to make any alts join the server, so I am to assume that it is so full because of the many toons people have made on there. So to give people the opportunity to make MORE alts than the 8 that's already on the same server is rather unfair to the rest of the community who can't even get a single one on it. 8 is a generous number. Maybe even too much. So I'd rather that won't change.

Inject as much Voidsent into your system you want! As long you have friends who wants to RP with you and goes along with it, then you can RP whatever you want together and no one is going to tell you otherwise! Have fun with it. ^^ Just don't expect everyone to be acceptive of it though. Actually, almost no matter what you do, there'll be someone who disapproves. If you want the general public to be acceptive of your RP, then you don't colour outside the lines at all and you always pick the correct colours. Which means you won't have anything to do with anything Voidsent, unless it is killing them. But that's boring! Just as long you have fun, because that's what RP is about. <3

I don't do romances. Sure, Cail would flirt immensely with guys, but never get too close. He'll make friends and some become very close friends, so heart-wrenching bromances? That could happen. But never romances. There's a deeper reason for this, as I have a past of trust issues and once had a stalker fall for me after having an IC romance with him (and only IC!), so it's territory I'm very wary about treading.

It's a pretty good character creator. I am not a fan of the class/gender/age lock though. That's enough for me not to play the game once it's out, sadly. But the creator is nice.

He's a Midlander though. Aren't most of the important Garlean NPC's Midlanders? I think maybe Rhitahtyn might be a Highlander, considering his size compared to the others.

I like to light up a few candles... put on some smooth jazz or something with low bass tones... then I spray a bit of my favourite perfume around in the room... pour myself a glass of wine... then I strip down... put on my Spider-man costume... lie in my bed... and then I log on.

Hmm, I'm not that much into full-on sandbox games. It's a neat concept, but I like questing storylines and such, to help me level in an enjoyable way. Usually, sandbox games = grinding the same thing over and over again until you reach max level.
