My own character, Vachir, was in a tribe that wandered the mountainside of Northern Othard where there's harsh cold (in my head canon), so I'd imagine he didn't really bathe a whole lot while growing up, but only when passing the occasional water hole and hot springs. So he never really did any care about his scales or horns other than the occasional washing with water. Oils, cremes, lotions and ointments, or whatever, was never something available to him, so I'd guess his scales feel rough. However, since he's come to Eorzea, these things are suddenly available to him. And he even bathes alot more, most of the time to cool down as he is usually hanging out in Thanalan, but he is also a hunter and a mercenary, so he gets messy alot... and then there's the thing about bathing in the blood of his enemies, and the Eorzean public aren't all that happy about such barbaric behaviour, so he bathes after that as well. I don't think he has yet to try any ointments on his scales or horns yet though. He just discovered soap, so there's still a whole world of wellness that he has yet to explore.

I think it's awesome that people are willing to poke others and go "Hey, I hope my IC behaviour is alright with you, and I'm just letting you know that I don't mean any of this OOCly. <3", because it shows consideration and compassion. It helps making a bond of consent between the two parts which could mean any future RP between the two would go well as well. After I've done some RP with someone, I usually send people a tell, saying "Hey, thanks for the RP. ^^" to show that I had an enjoyable time with them and that I might want to have more with those people in the future. When RP'ing someone who is very aggressive in a negative way, such as being a racist douchebag, I find it important to have the consent of the people I RP with, because if they don't find it alright, then they're not the people I am going to RP with. I am not in this to harrass people. I RP what I want to RP, but if I approach someone who doesn't like the way I RP, then I will just find someone else to RP with. Should I continue to approach that same person in the same way, then I am harrassing him... and that's not alright!

I'll say the same here as I say in all these cases: RP whatever you want. But don't expect people to accept your RP. People are free to choose who they want to RP with. If you want to RP a racist basta-... I mean, a conservative traditionalist, then sure, do that. But know that people who disagree with your RP are free to ignore you and choose not to be part of it.

That Iron Man face inside the Behemoth's mouth though... it's very off-putting, imo. You can /visor it up. Problem solved. That's awesome. ^^ Just so much more work to get this than AF2 (Okay really it's only because you have to be rank 49 (50 is the sword.) and the queues take forever.) I don't PvP, so I'll never get it, but it does look cool.

I really like the Summoner set, the Ninja set, the Machinist set and the Dark Knight set. The Scholar coat and hat look cool, but I'm not a fan of the rest. Bard and Dragoon look kinda cool too. The Monk set looks ridiculous. I know it's an homage to Yang from FFIV, but I think it looks really bad.

Is there a place where I can see some HQ images of the new Jobclass sets you get from Esotorics? Because when I google them, there are no good images popping up.

So EU players can't be in this contest... What a bummer.
