I know I'm late but hell, better late than never! Welcome to the RPC! Everyone here is friendly so far and I am pretty sure you've already noticed. Please ignore the small tiny bears walking around. Those are known as Ewoks and for the sake of the Force, do not feed them. *Shakes Ewok off his leg*

The door swung open as it creaked rather loudly. Standing outside the doorway, two hooded trespassers stepped inside as they stared at Osric; a twisted maniacally grin painting itself on the stranger to the left. "Such a nosy guard," spoke the one to the left. "You know... you shouldn't be sticking in business that doesn't concern an inferior like yourself." Tilting his head slightly back, one could see the features of a male Elezen. They were both Elezen. "We'll make this quick and painless." Slowly under the glint of what light remained in the bedroom, the Elezen trespassers drew fourth their swords as they approached Osric...

Only fatrolls. What the bloody hell is that abomination!?

Commotion stirred around Ul'dah that evening. From across the Emerald Avenue to even The Quicksand, a woman was seen running and screaming. [align=center]"A body! There's a body in Pearl Lane!"[/align] The news was quick to spread and it wasn't long before a small crowd surrounded the corpse. It was that of an Elezen male, middle aged and dressed in formal clothing; hidden behind broken crates. Small flies have already started to gather and the stench was gruesome...

This is how I felt OOC-wise when I was acting out that scene. Requescat En Pace. :3

Of course, we'd all love to have more emotes and I sure would like an emote where characters can lie down but I'm sorry, I'm about to go off topic like a mutha. I can't stop laughing at the signature of one of the members on that forum. Damn you, Christian Bale. Bloody hell, that made my morning. BRB, dying.

Yep, I'm EST. BTW, just a head's up to anyone - this will definitely be the event that I encourage you all to participate. I have some great things in mind which I will not discuss OOC-wise. Get ready to have some fun!

This would have been the perfect event for Xydane to "spy" on Erik due to his relations to the "Ishgard Plot." Also, it would have gave me a reason for having Xydane come to a social gathering and dress formally. Hehe. Unfortunately, I will not be home during Wed - Thurs due to work. Hope you all have fun and don't forget to take screenshots!

Haha, I couldn't have said it better myself! Well, except the killing of people in order to communicate sort of deal. A long history of living by the sword has taught Xydane that gender doesn't mean squat when someone is trying to kill you and/or harm others. Underestimation and sexism will just mean a knife to your throat when you least expect it. *Sagenod*

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd let you know that I posted a screen of Scene #2 as well as Scene #3 of the plot via Xydane's role. http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=3633&pid=82302#pid82302 Like I said before, we are definitely kicking this into motion and all I ask is that everyone keep motivated and participate!

Here are some screenshots from RP scenes! The first two belong to the Ishgardian Plot. Here, Xydane meets with Crisiet Liautroix and "Grimm" in Limsa Lominsa. Xydane meets with a mysterious Ishgardian agent to discuss his reports. Xydane visits Clover in Gridania after many weeks of traveling.

Just like Ildur stated above, there's a really thin line on each of the class's lore. While I am not new to the concept of a berserker or a heavily armored juggernaut due to many years of RPing in WoW, my character is not along the lines of the lore defined "Warrior." The way I see it, you can still be a "Warrior" without being based off of what FFXIV defines as a warrior: A knight without a lord or allegiance, an ex-soldier turned traveler, etc. The definition of a "Warrior" defines: (esp. in former times) a brave or experienced soldier or fighter. My character is just a guy with many swords and an axe. That's it really.

Sometimes, you just have to improvise. Sorry I can't be of much help.
