I don't think queue times are that awful, honestly. Even as a DPS, I don't think I've had to wait more than 30 minutes tops during "off peak" times. There are some exceptions like the castrum runs or any of the crystal towers mostly because the pools of players queuing is smaller for those. If you decide to hop over, welcome to Balmung! I'm certain you'll find it to be a worth while decision!

Reina stooped to reach for the man as he toppled backwards, her hand withdrawing to her chest with an empathetic wince as the second body met the water. She reeled back and barked out a laugh, "Gods be tamed! Ain't you lot graceful as Goobues!" She looked over the woman and then toward the line and man as Miryn spoke "Aye! Rally, lad! Y've got dinner on your line!" Bracing her stance on the bank Reina moved a hand toward Miryn, "Ah... Seems you need a bit of tendin' to 'fore somethin' in that water makes dinner of you." She made a short motion toward the newly colored bandaging on her leg with a short wiggle of her finger.

The world came into bright, swirling view as Reina materialized next to the aetheryte crystal. "Gods be damned!" Bending at the waist and staggering slightly as the world stopped spinning, she slowly straightened, checking to see if all parts remained in tact. Legs, rear, sword, chest, shield... The motion brought long hard stares from a few passing attendants as they milled between buildings readying for what would certainly be another busy day at the springs. She eyed them in return and pushed hair from her face before tightening the hair pulled back at the crown of her head, "What?" The attendants laughed at some inaudible jest and shook their heads continuing on about their business. "You jus' wait! I ain't th' only t' hear those tales!" she grumbled, looking around to gain her bearings, "Someday, someone's gon' pop up here missin' a damned hand..." A shrugging sigh pulled her shoulders back and she lifted the levecard from a pouch on her belt as she began the walk from the resort, "Alright... Waterskippers...." She lifted her gaze to scan the horizon just in time to see the woman's form fall into the water. "O-oh!" A small snickering snort echoed in her throat a moment before she sobered and moved toward the woman as quickly as she could pass over the slick rocky obstacles in her way, "H-Hey! Y' alright there?"

September Update: August was a great month! We gained a few very friendly faces that we're very eager to see grow as individuals and with our company. RP: Many of our characters have developing personal stories and, as a company, our first story arc will be developing soon. We were able to keep up our 'at least once a week' group event schedule despite all the crazy schedules our members kept this month and, if I do say so myself, each one was quite enjoyable and allowed our characters to get to know one another better. We've got some more serious events planned this month and many community outreach events in the planning stages. I'm very excited to see these come to fruition! Keep an eye on our bulletin board to see the new contracts (events) we have planned. Once we work out scheduling we'll get them up onto our calendar! Many of our events and RP in general happens out and about in the world! We welcome you to join us for the RP! If you see a bunch of crazy looking people stanced with their weapons drawn and seemingly paused, give us /tell! We'll let you know what you're looking at- feel free to jump in! PvE: Ponies everywhere! Though two of our PvE members had to move this month (and we miss them terribly!), we've still been able to pull in friends to spank some primals in undersized parties. It's our hope to continue to see these retroraids happen at least a couple of times a month. Otherwise we're still pushing through the content as a group! Gettin' those lowbies leveled up! We're still looking to round out an FC Static, but we're in no hurry! Don't mind pugging what we need! We have some members that are strictly OOC (for now *evil grin*) and welcome more if people are so willing!

Oh the backtracking.... I was musing today that if we got paid by the amount of steps we took going back and forth between NPCs standing yards away from one another, we'd all be living in mansions! Congratulations on making a character on Balmung. Seriously, they should pass out awards for this....

I did this with a character of mine, Andralyn ("Lady Grace"). It was a lot of fun most of the time but there were some definite times when it turned into a time consuming, (no time for personal RP), thing. Met lots of great characters, some good contacts for future RPs, and then some very ....interesting characters/players that didn't quite grasp what I was going for with the project. I know a few others have offered services such as this (some offering their own characters as the one to match with others.) I wish you much luck!

Gah! Oops! Tonight at 6pm CST!

Just a reminder that Daphine will be hosting a first aid class tonight at 6pm CST at the company house (Goblet: ward 1, plot 22). Flyers have been left with the adventurer's guilds. This is a basic first aid class meant for adventurers with little experience treating wounds, those needing a refresher course, or those that do not carry the skills to heal aetherically. We'll review the techniques from last week and discuss new techniques for stopping bleeding and stabilizing patients until further help can be found. Editted to include time! Oops!

A busy month! Our newest story arch is beginning and we're looking for more eager adventurers looking to join in on the fun! Daphine is also currently hosting series of clinic hours where in she gives first aid lessons to those in need of training these are open to anyone that would like to attend. I have the issue too. It's any forum though. So long as I'm copying text from a word document and pasting it into the text box here the formatting goes a bit wonky. I've just started combing through the post again and previewing before submitting.
