People who antagonize other characters with their words then when attacked say they do not want to be attacked for their actions.

Hey guys~ As people may have noticed I do like my PVE (but probably not in the regard that a lot of others do...) and was going to fish here for like minded people who would enjoy a twice a week - steady group to clear the newest content. Bismark EX Ravan EX Alexander I'm pretty terrible at making things polite and I'm a dreadful public speaker when it comes to getting my opinion properly across so i'll just state the rules all plain-Jane like and the information you'll need. Run times: The static will run twice a week for an hour (excluding trash time) of progression twice a week. The days are to be discussed. The time however will be 9pm PST. Gear Requirements: (Shoot me, yes, I asked for a Min ilevel ;u; ) now, I don't want to restrict people too much but for Alexander I expect a minimum of i166. Which requires a full Left side of the new gear un-upgraded and perhaps 2 upgraded right side pieces. This isn't too hard as long as you do your hunts. This is a much lower requirement than most groups ask for. That said, if you're one point away, I probably won't care too much. It's a general target. Commitment: I expect if you sign up that you are ready for the commitments of the raid twice a week. The raid must come before any other role play commitments you have maid so we can actually grow as a group. If a personal emergency occurs, I can understand - real life does come first. Game knowledge/fight Knowledge: I wish to start a week after the Alexander raid is released so we are able to read up and learn the fights in part before we go in. This requires a minimum of perhaps 10 minutes of one of your weeks to read up on the mechanics of the first fight and such. I expect people to bring Potions and Food accordingly. This also includes reading up on what changes have effected your class and how you need to adapt. [align=justify]Patience and Progress: Progress only comes with patience and dedication. If you notice something in the group that is causing a snag, please speak up. We don't want to not learn from our mistakes. I'll add more as I think of it.. [/align]

^ Pretty much this. I dont really acknowledge fantasia's as cannon, as the devs have even stated that they are a meta-item in regards to existence. They only exist due to the demand of the mass playbase. So yes, I do act as if they are a different person. I actually prefer if people make new backstories instead of the trope of 'She was a ____ all along~'

Sadly, i think the raen 'arrived' about a year earlier in lore time when Yugiri arrived with the rest of the Domans, hey just.. kept hidden as she did.

Raen, as stated in the naming conventions and their lore blurb lived closely with the Doman people in eastern Othard. Doma itself, in recent history has been under the rule and vassal by the garlean empire - discontent with the rulership an uprising bean to free the nation only to be met with the razing of the entire nation-state itself, leaving many refuge. It is then that a handful of survivors crossed the sea with the assistance of Lady Yugiri to Eorzea. Failing to make asylum with the city states the crystal braves (Or Scions) arranged for the Domans to inhabit the settlement of Mor Dhona - where they remain today. We can assume the Domans to try and uphold their culture based on the art of Ninja and their naming conventions themselves. It seems that it follows an edo-priodesk class system with the warrior-elite at the top and merchants at the bottom. I don't caim to be an expert but this is what i've mostly extrapolated from the main story. Please - anyone, feel free to add things.

We aim to do dungeons IC too, if anyone is interested in runs - please let me know.

You know what. I'm going to stop posting. I can't be bothered arguing with you guys. Have fun. It's unfortunate that you equate disagreement with attack. Perhaps it is best if you do stop posting, if disagreement affects you so. Actually - I agree with her. The new dungeons (at 60, the dugneons from 51-59 are piss easy) are rather hard hitting and as a scholar i;ve found there to be times where I don't even have time to throw up a dot if the DPS is slow or if the tank doesnt blow cooldowns at the right points. yes, Dpsing should be dont as a healer but but if it means you aren't confident healing your group and keeping them up. Especially when some monsters basic attacks are doing 1000-1500 damage, and there are twelve of them. Perhaps this will change with gear, perhaps not. We will see in the coming patches. In my opinion, you can't DD as a healer when your tank isn't good. I had a pld keep running through vault without blowing cooldowns and fuck me as a SCH without Emergency tactics? at that point.... SHIT HURTS. I ONLY HAVE SO MANY LUSTRATES. Shields only do so much when you're taking so much damage. For awhile I thought DRKs were squishy. But then I met less squishy ones. Probably better with cooldowns etc. Seriously, depending on gear or how many you pull.. I swear fuckin' let me shield you and use cooldowns. If I am using cooldowns in my role, so should you. And if you're going to leave me doing that, well I'm not going to DD. Seeing as Adlo now costs around 8% of my mana pool instead of the 4% it used to cost, yeah, you can normally only do around 11 Adlo's before your oom.

I don't have any interest in dpsing. My priority goes healing -> buffing -> dps as should all good healers. Also I heal fine thanks, just not a lot of room to dps in the new dungeons compared to the old one's, especially in the vault. All good healers have to DPS. Not DPSing is a luxury you get in old content, but in my opinion good healers do current content, and in order to clear anything besides 4 man dungeons or old raids/primals, healers have to dps. I have found the trick is to talk to them OOC, and make sure they're cool with the idea of them getting hauled off or chased away. If they want to beat up my brass blade just to be cool I stay away, unless we have some sort of prior arrangement. In my opinion, that's stupid. If they don't want consequences for their inately illegal activities in the middle of a public place, they should be doing it. Why would you be advertising you sell illegal narcotics in a public sqaure? Especially next to the NPC brassblades. If I use the logic 'they arent played therefore they don't matter' Should I also ignore: The Sulatana 99% of the MSQ Momodi etc?

I've found that most people ignore the fact there even is a form of policing in city states - just because there is no character representation. Im very surprised its done but then again - I guess its all up to personal preference. I've given up multiple times playing a Brass Blade just due to the fact that many adventurers just theatened to beat the living snot out of him for trying to enforce the law. "I'm sorry, but kidnapping is Illeal, and the discussion of such is questionable to your alibi." *gets attacked in quicksand* "I'll call for backup!"

Interesting character! What made you pick a Doman name compared to a traditional Xaela name? Xaela have Mongolian (esque) names.
