I think it sounds really good. I especially like that the heroes have a change to spoil the spies' plans. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this goes. I probably wont play a large role in it but if you need an extra feel free to ask me.

I don't see why not. There are plenty of RPers out there with "unnatural" (pink, green, blue as opposed to "natural" black, brown, blonde) colored hair and now with the aesthetician it makes a little more sense for having it. So I don't see why there would be a problem with highlights. I suppose it could still make sense without the aesthetician if the character was an alchemist or knew one but that's offtopic.

I think that bit is just a typo on GamerEscape's part. I too thought Brayflox was a guy. Onto the main topic: After my experiences in WoW I've never been a big fan of reusing dungeons for max level characters but SE has been doing it right. The remodeled hard mode is great with it's new "story" making it feel like you have a reason to be going back there after having defeated it at lower levels. Copperbell mines is my favorite so far although Brayflox sounds like it might be fun. I'm excited to read the quests associated with the Lost City of Amdapor. I was sad when the Scholar quests were over because lost civilizations are always fascinating to me.

Don't worry about it! There's a lot of lore I'm still learning myself, that's what these forums are for. If you don't know it someone else does. :3 I really like the sound of either of those ideas. They both have potential to be a lot of fun. Maybe it's just because I suggested it or I think it would be amusing to watch someone try to disarm a magitek bomb ("Cut the blue wire!" "THEY'RE ALL BLUE!! /cry") but I like the first one the most.

While I don't know if that's exactly why they are interested in conquering I agree with the last part. From the story quest I was under the impression that primals are summoned by their worshipers. Either way they said it was a rough outline and it can always be changed to something else like a magitek bomb.

Rinette definitely wouldn't get along with Val very well and probably wouldn't with Melfice, not quite sure on that. But she would get along great with Cyrus or Rhel'a! If you ever find yourself wanting to RP either of them send me a tell. I'm on throughout the day but can't really RP until 9PM PST. If I'm lucky I can RP 2-4PM PST. Not sure what timezone you're in and how those times work for you.

Welcome to the RPC! I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad time with the community on GW2, I've never played the game so I don't know much about it. If it's anything like WOWs RP community I don't blame you one bit for leaving. Miqo'te aren't THAT bad! There's no harems around unless you plan on playing a Seeker of the Sun Nuhn (basically the strongest male in the clan that mates with all the females to make strong babies). I kid, I kid. There aren't any real harems that I know of at least. Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te are matriarchal and few in males so they end up mating with several women to keep the population going. If you need any help with the game or lore (what little bit I do know) or want to bounce ideas off me feel free to send me a tell in game! EDIT: Herpa derp! I just realized you haven't made your character yet. You can PM me on here too for whatever.

Sorry for posting again but I found a website full of folk songs that could easily work for a bard in Eorzea. Here. They even have hymns that after a bit of work miiiiight be able to be used for any of the Twelve.

I will definitely get a hold of you. I would love to be in a bard LS! *gasp* I never even thought about putting in emote motions.. You just blew my mind.

That's where I started back in 2004, you do NOT want to look up my first account, the history on her is just painful to look through. Anyways, I am almost always ready to RP. Even if you just want to chat about the game, or lore (what little bit I know), or bounce character ideas off me send me a tell.

Rinette does play an instrument but doesn't do any singing along with it. I've been thinking about this a lot actually because I would like her to get into performing even if it's just for friends. I don't see a problem with using songs that aren't FF related and changing references to locations to something that makes sense for Eorzea. As long as it isn't too far out there like a rap song or something. I have yet to hear anyone say they don't like songs adapted to the FF world but I don't RP with very many bards. If someone does have a problem with it the only reason I could think would be they know the song out side the game and it would break their immersion.

Welcome to the RPC! It's great to see another moon-keeper around. The Adventurers Guilds in each town are pretty popular hotspots for RP. I can't really think of any that are outside the main cities off the top of my head. If you need help with anything, IC or OOC, feel free to contact me. /AFK doesn't block tells as far as I know. And you only see those markers while in party. Otherwise that would be a great idea. To contribute to the conversation: It was nice in Tera Online because guilds had tags that you could turn on and off for your character and everyone would see whether it was on or off according to your settings. So a lot of guilds would use the tag "IC" and you would just turn it on when you wanted and off when you were OOC. Since I get the feelings we wont have addons for a little while it would be nice if SE could incorporate this.

As everyone else has said there is no reason you can't be born anywhere you wish or be an arcanist. If you're going for a traditional keeper I would say it's safe to assume that they are mostly born in the Shroud. But that doesn't mean that she can't leave to explore other lands. Another idea for casting spells is having to rely heavily on her grimoire for her spells. It's just an idea I've seen a few people mention when people want to play a struggling caster. It is by no means required that you do it. I'm far from an expert on miqo'te lore but if you wish to talk about backgrounds feel free to PM me or find me in game.
