Maelstrom Command LS/FC is planning a server-wide Soldier's Ball in mid February and we're looking for a character who commonly leads religious ceremonies to lead the 4 city states in an opening prayer. Ideally we'd like the prayer to: briefly include each of the Twelve briefly bless the fallen be about 5 - 7 minutes long, real time (pre-written macro is suggested!) If we get a handful of interested people, we could split the prayer into multiple parts so that you can each touch on a few of the gods instead of one person touching on all. Whatevs! We sure are! So far, we're right on track for re-opening recruitment on Tuesday, October 11. It's possible that we may need another day or so, but if that's the case, I'll update the front page here and send out another tumblr update. Our goal is to get all of the backend OOC structure complete and the IC Units established before re-opening so that we can get all new recruits into the IC structure of things quickly and easily! So, stay tuned!

D'awww, thank you! If you like the organization that you've seen so far, just wait until I'm finished with the final touches after our little OOC break, here! Even if you don't decide to join up as a Maelstrom recruit, perhaps we could still RP some stuff together. Hosted by the Maelstrom Command LS, @maelstrom-command on tumblr WHEN: Sunday, August 28 3pm EST WHERE: Limsa Lominsa Parade begins at the Astalicia pier (5,14) and ends at the Aftcastle (11,13) with salute demonstrations along the way. All characters with IC ties to the Maelstrom are invited to join us! Put on your Lominsan Soldier’s, or Lominsan Officer’s, uniform set and march along with us. If you’re wearing either of these two Maelstrom uniforms, you’re welcome to hop in and join the march at any point along the way. Simply select the last person in one of the two marching lines, set your character to walk, and active /follow. Storm Commander Sylbfohc Ostulmsyn will periodically halt the line for group /gcsalute demonstrations. Make sure that you have /yell turned on in your chat window! I recommend putting the following emotes in your action bar if you have them: /rrpb /brpb /gcsalute And, here’s a handy macro that you can use when Sylb shouts “‘til sea swallows all!” at the final salute point, if you’d like: /gcsalute motion /em gives a Storm salute, shouting in unison with their fellow Storm soldiers, “‘til sea swallows all!” Not the marching type? No problem! Grab a few friends, find a cozy spot along the parade’s path, and sit back and enjoy the festivities. Light off some fireworks as the soldiers salute! Planned out our server-wide launch RP event and chose a date (will advertise soon) Planned out our first two reoccurring LS-wide RP events and chose dates Unlocked the last of our Airship & Housing Prototypes Finished decorating the LS/FC House Began constructing a new fancy exterior for the house Formed some new partnerships Continued gathering lore Approximately one week until official launch!! :bouncy:

⚑ Updates ⚑ July 31, 2016 Our official launch is just a couple of weeks away! :moogle: In the meantime, we're still moving forward with our pre-launch preparations. Here's what we've accomplished this week: We got a house!!! Mist (small) W2:P51 will be the IC location for Maelstrom Command LS/FC We've established partnerships with a handful of related LinkShells & Free Companies We've established support partnerships with a handful of reoccurring server-wide (La Noscean) event coordinators We're always looking for more partners! Being a partner LS/FC of Maelstrom Command just means that we keep each other in the loop and support each other by participating in each other's RP events where needed and in whatever way is needed. Maelstrom Command generally offers: IC law enforcement presence at reoccurring RP events IC enemies (in chase and battle) opposite to pirates and sky pirates IC allied support for groups petitioning for help in their quests IC investigation into matters troubling other groups Continued IC support for Doman refugee groups etc. etc.! Keep in mind, however, that groups seeking IC battle/enemy status with Maelstrom Command need to be just as willing to lose as they are to win! Battle outcomes will be discussed OOCly ahead of time (if your group needs to win in order to advance your plot) or left to fate with /random rolls. We seek to create realistic chase & battle scenarios in which both sides win some and lose some. It should all be in good fun OOCly. No one has time for sore losers. ;] We will continue to work on building our lore base, making partners, and planning out our first handful of events. More updates to come! ~ 'Til sea swallow all ~
