I want to experiment using binding moves and/or poison. A Contrary ability shuckle raises its defense and special defense when using Shell Smash, at the expense of greatly reducing its offenses and speed. But its damage would come from the damage over time, not it's offensive stats. It may not work out, but I'm curious to see how it plays out, and I thought it might round out a team I'm toying with.

Why get a shuckle when you can get a metagross and iron defense the fuck outta it. There's more to Pokemon than pseudolegendaries.

This is probably a good time to ask: I thought I had a Contrary shuckle, but I don't! Does anyone have one they'd be willing to breed for me, or let me borrow one to breed?

Sounds like someone who hasn't ever had to face one. Edit: They had to ban a whole bunch of things in the competitive community because of how unkillable Shuckle was. Lol for real? Edit - That damage tho Highest defense in game, paired with DoTs like toxic, or gimmicky things like swapping his defenses for offenses. Don't underestimate the rock mold.

Just learn to cover their weaknesses, with their own moves and with the moves of allies.

Rock type tends to have low SDEF, and water/grass are usually SATK and common enough. Lots of things have fighting moves, too.

Nebbs pretty much nailed it. You may have some longer queues when new patch content is released, or a new expansion, but it returns to normal after a bit. You'd be transfering an alt, so you don't have to worry about trying to make a new one while the server's locked.

I'm pretty flexible with the IC details, as long as the relationship is believable for the characters involved. I require a certain level of OOC chemistry to pull off a good romance, and for the most part I only get involved with male characters, so potential suitors are already pretty rare. I often find myself falling into a caregiver role, playing a character who wants to support and dote on the other to the best of his ability, potentially to the point of overdoing it or causing more problems in the long run.

Actually, now that I think about it, there is a phone number you can call to get a code. For one of the previous distributions, my local GameStop at the time ran out of cards, but gave me a phone number for Nintendo where they send you a code via email. The Nintendo number you call may give you a bit of a hard time about not going to get one physically, but I think if you describe your situation they should give you one.
