Aya's an Ishgardian - she escaped from the city around the time of 2.0's release. Her brother is a black smith and mostly a weaponsmith these days within the city. Aya herself is something of a savant with mechanics and gears, but doesn't consider it much of a thing (and the only people who likely know about it are those she's gone to for parts) I'm not sure if there's anything super obvious to work with there, but there's the possibility for hooks if we wanted to pursue them!

Unless the Scions need a dancer...

These are really nice, I especially love the Dogberry The hair and beard detail is terrific!

I really wish we could do more to accessorize, honestly.. but that's rarely something players have control over in MMO's.

I keep saying this. We need more polearms to choose from! A naginata would be nice, as would a lucerne hammer. I really like the poleaxe shown in the images above, though. I love Naginatas enough I may try out DRK to be able to use one! I've always liked pole arms though A lucerne hammer would be really neat!

Aya's an Ishgardian belly dancer, I'm definitely looking forward to it! I do agree it looks similar to a Naginata, but the posture of that model induces to me think that's a great sword, so... DRK, I guess. Yeah, that was my fear, it looked DRK.. drats, why can't Lancers use such a pole arm!

Sooooo cute! AND LOL! I guess I never logged off last night it wasn't until about 5 minutes ago when I tried to log in again that I realized I was still logged in that's over 24 hours!! Its like a marathon of standing around and looking pretty

We're not, its just that Garlemald and her warmachines are far from impregnable. Now, if Eorzea actually could have flying mounted cavalry? I really do think that would gravely tip the balance against both the Dravanians and the Garleans, and if united under our very own Chengis, could result in something very much like the Horde's success! Eorzea's aether-fueled fighters are among the very best in the world (to stand up to what they stand up to), remove the Dravanian and Garlean advantage of aerial dominion, and I think the game is over. But! Its all just conjecture, I'm just trying to explain why I am hoping that mounted flight has a very narrow context drawn around it so that for most intents and purposes it can just be straight up ignored

Exactly. And adding air mobility to the equation on the Eorzean side (which could already win while trapped on the ground) should completely tip the scales (which is why it doesn't make much sense to me as anything but a very special snowflake (such as the WoL) capability).
