  1. Aya watched the bard, and her verbal probing of the paladins. The barb of her words belied the gentle smoothness of her voice - she knew what she was doing - or did she really? The barmaid's rapt attention, perhaps better otherwise spent on waiting patrons, was suddenly broken instead by the smell of fresh (or not quite so fresh) fish assaulting the area near the bar, born quite fragrantly by the Highlander woman who had just entered. The girl's expression soured for a just a moment, before she was able to set her wits back about her. Displaying a courage difficult to muster for even the most hardened adventurers, Aya lifted herself up, sliding along the service-side of the bar, appearing in a moment opposite PipPip, wearing a soft but pleasant smile. She canted her head, fingers rapping gently upon the bar. Her voice expressive in its soft, smooth tones, bearing the accent of her common Ishgardian upbringing, "Ma'am, your, um... produce, seems to be bothering some of our patrons."
  2. Aya covers her mouth with her fingers, watching the scene, excitedly, as it unfolds before her.
  3. "Total coincidence!" says Aya, raising her voice and grinning to the group at the pillar. "I'm sure!" She adds a big playful wink, out of Warren's sight.
  4. As she finishes cleaning off the bar in front of Coatleque, Aya moves down a ways closer to Momodi, leaving the Pillar Couple to their adorable commiseration. She glances to the Highlander woman, admiring for a moment her anklets as she crosses her legs. A pang of desire passes through her heart... "Those look soooo cute!" she thinks to herself, mentally tallying her tips for the evening so far.
  5. Aya nodded, smiling soflty to the Paladin, with concern in her eyes. Briskly she slipped behind the bar, toweling up the spill, bringing her some water, and a couple of chocolates on a plate.
  6. Aya gazed at the pair for a moment, through confused blinks, before it really dawned on her just how out-of-the-ordinary Coatleque's fall was. She walked in a hurry, almost but not quite bounding, on her way through the Quicksand's tables to the bar where the woman had been sitting. She helps support her by the arm Warren is not holding. "Ser Crofte... are you okay? Do you need some water? It looks like you fainted..."
  7. As the crash and thud reverberates through the Quick Sand's Atrium, Aya stops and suddenly looks up wide-eyed to the fallen Coatleque. Her eyes join that of patrons across the tavern; the same thought on everyone's mind! In the awkward silence that follows, Aya speaks softly, "I didn't even know she drank..."
  8. Smiles to Yangh, and then to the strange Hyur. She cants her head toward him a bit, perhaps a little recognition in her eyes, as she places the water glass, with a slice of sun lemon bobbing in it before Yangh, and then the pint before the Hyur. With her hips cocked she nods her head to the two of them, "Let me know if you'd like anything else!" ((Folks can just assume, or RP Aya serving them, I don't think I can keep up with that in posts, and it will kind of crowd out the thread if I did ))
  9. The click of high heels and the chiming sound of jewelry and charms serve as the usual herald for the Quick Sand's resident blonde barmaid. Swinging by with a bright smile, hands filled with an Ul'dahn Ale and a glass of water, she looks to the group by the pillar. "Oh, no, no that can't be for Ser Warren and Crofte; they wouldn't!" She looks up to the pillar for a moment, trying to turn Warren's head. As he looks away she mouths silently, "ITS THEM!" and then turns to make her way over to Yangh's table to deliver the drinks.
  10. I don't know. Two paladins like Crofte and Warren standing in an elevator exchanging glances sure sounds like a textbook definition of "lovers" to me. You know people show it in such different ways!
  11. I read this as, "YOU PEOPLE ALL SUFFER WITH ME.. OR... OR ELSE... WARREN SMASH!" Did I get that about right? Warren  Crofte forever! And I can't wait to see the art!!!
  12. *laughs* "Officer, I was just trying to get the two together at last. I've never had a 'kidnapping them for their own good' plan go awry before!!"
  13. *Whips out a hooligan tool from nowhere. In pretty pink writing one end is labelled "Nice", the other "Kind".*
  14. I'm gonna kill you, Nat! (you just wait and see)
  15. After passing the pair, Aya bites her lip, trying to suppress the grin. She turns to look back over her shoulder, peeking a quick glance, her heart filled with well-wishing. Would the Pillar ever be the same?
  16. As the pair turned to walk again, the tall blonde-haired, easily recognizable, Hyur girl was exchanging a few gil from her purse in exchange for a bag of spices from a vendor up the way. Aya smiled gently as she placed the spice in her small basket, and then turned toward the pair, suddenly recognizing them as she lifted her eyes. A radiant grin quickly overcame her, and she raised her free hand offering a playful wave of her fingers to her two friends as she began to saunter past them, further into the morning's market.
  17. Welcome, welcome! There are some out there who may come out swinging against any Garlean they encounter, just so you know to be discrete!
  18. Aya and Crofte... what could they be talking about?
  19. Cheap to some maybe! Don't hurt Aya!
  20. Warren, you can admit that he coughed it up, committed an unforced error, (add other appropriate sports analogy). We'll still love you
  21. I wanted to be equal-opportunity, but yes. We need to make a Roen-summoning circle. Get her back in Ul'dah. I think we can pull her through the aether if we get 8 shirtless highlander males around one table in the quicksand. She's not the only one that you'd summon
