  1. *Dances under all of that falling gil* woooo!
  2. Considering what the Garleans are up to, that's not too surprising I still prefer the more petty villain type, maybe that's just because they're more likely to try to impress Aya with gifts!
  3. Even Dr. Horrible has to use a laundromat!
  4. There seems to be incredible room for villains in Limsa and Ul'dah, provided they're not of the "out to destroy the world" types. Both cities are filled with criminals and pseudo-criminals, who managed to live "within" the law through influence and bribery.
  5. Thieves guild are the pre-Mafia organized crime organizations. They both organize and control the activity of thieves (through intimidation, control of fences, and violence) while using their position of power to their advantage in dealing with legitimate society (deals with guards, bribery of officials, protection rackets, etc.) They undoubtedly do exist, especially in Ul'dah, and could have been interestingly tapped into for game purposes. I only question whether or not one may exist in Limsa, because in Limsa the government itself is essentially an expanded organized crime enterprise and may have muscled out their competition - this may also play into the storyline, like pirates-gone-good, so have the thieves. But... they don't really seem to want go anywhere near villainous PCs anyway... Finally a second class I may want to level!
  6. C'kayah's advice is amazingly good advice, and probably the best way to find meaningful and fun RP that you'll ever find
  7. -whimpers- ARKY! I logged on in a position almost as compromosing as these and my first thought was, "omg I have to move before someone puts me on the screenshot thread!" have to be careful...
  8. I love a little Chillstep in the morning! bTD3OGO8OjU
  9. Girls only like guys with skills... nunchuck skills... bow hunting skills... computer hacking skills... RP skills... You definitely shouldn't worry about any "RP skills" (and I am not even sure how you could define this), its something done purely for fun and entertainment, just go with what you've got and have fun, and don't think too hard! I understand the worry about bothering someone, and I think that's inevitable to avoid. RPing as a barmaid I walk up and intrude on people all the time, and I know some nights a lot of them are going to wave a frustrated hand and ignore me, and that's just the way it goes. But far more often you run into people who were sitting around just looking for any opportunity to RP and they'll love it, and you'll enjoy it, and dealing with that mixed bag is far more fun than sitting around doing nothing - especially since what you'll remember the next day is the fun you had and those people that you momentarily bothered fade away pretty quickly.
  10. Breaking the ice is the hardest part!
  11. It was fun RPing with you last night!
  12. Aya chatting with C'k-"Not Quite Dead"-ayah, during a lovely sunset. Serving a patron in the Quick Sand And meeting one of our newest community members! The Legendary Swordsman (whom she looks a little apprehensive about!) Now if only normal RP lent itself a little better to capturing both character's faces at the same time
  13. Aya watches Midna closely, her eyes tracking those of the Elezen as she glances away back toward the Jeweler's kiosk, the large, balding proprietor looking over the group of three with the amused grin of a merchant knowing a sale was imminent. As she spoke, Aya looked just a little disappointed, her lips curling into something of a pout as she canted her head, "Well... it wouldn't be fair to ask for too much, hmmm?" she looks up, smiling a little more, before glancing back to the jewelry, wondering if she really should accept the offer, how wonderful it would be to have one of the belly chains she had just been admiring... She glanced toward T'shina, looking at her new friend appreciatively while addressing Midna, "I do have a shift at Momodi's this afternoon, how long did you want us to visit for?"
  14. I don't meta. My post was a joke, man. No problamo. Just the type for clarification. Some RP's I've been in uses meta, some don't. (That, and I'm hyped up on that 5 hour energy stuff. Everything's a trip right now.) I don't meta ^^ just like to keep things plausible. I'm always happy to see people willing to play antagonists and your post was great! I am just having fun (as usual!).
  15. Omg please don't visit the Quick Sand  The Quicksand is his favorite hunting ground. >:3 Well there is a lovely barmaid there who speaks with an obvious Ishgardian accent all the time *scared*
  16. Aya rested a hand on T'shina's shoulder, smiling as she gave a little tug as she tried to urge the pair onto the Quick Sand. She was happy for the escape, on reflection the Duskwight girl did not seem so threatening, but still, better safe than sorry... "...you're free to choose what you want me to buy as well." Now these were dangerous words to use with Aya, even for someone she deeply liked and respected... Aya's head turned sharply toward Midna glancing back over her right shoulder, a twinkle in those blue eyes, and a grin forcing its way across her lips. "What did you say your name was?
