Okay! With the lore section and some base leveling I did over the weekend, I am definitely to get the ball rolling even though it will be slow at first. I did get a LS set up called "Eorzean Law Folks". It's just a general LS for contacts and connections and once there are more people who might want to play as a Yellowjacket in Limsa, then I plan to set up a specific Yellowjacket LS. So I just need to know who wants to be in the law LS. And I know it's tough with LS limits, so if you can't, no worries. But if you are, send me a pm or post here. I worked on leveling up Melodia and she is about 99% ready. A few more levels (I am hoping) and then she can access the proper boots and gloves. I will likely post here on a new journal thread for her first, so I can give some background and help get a handle on her character before rolling her out IC in the city. I do look foward to rp'ing in the city with anyone and especially those less than scrupulous types.

Yeah based on Rosekitten's pics and this, it looks like a maruader is at least needed. So, that means at least I know I need to level my character now (another tank job? :cry: ). As for the NPCs, that's a good point and so many times I just run by them or if they talk I hastily push the button to get through it quick and miss a lot. Looks like I got homework now.

First of all....*blush* thanks. I get a lot of my energy from you, so it's a good dynamic. And yes! I have rp'd with ShayRei and Miza in the game and they are fantastic!! ShayRei's awesome at making the story seem like it's happening even though the two characters may be just sitting there. And Miza is really very good at making her mysterious character believable and real. I second Zhavi's comments here.

Cool. I think the uniform actually isn't that bad. Like with the Sultansworn it's rough because you have to get that 50 paladin AF armor to do it right (lol unless you are always off duty. ).

This, most likely. I've seen all races in Ul'dah as Blades, Flames, and Sworn. But Ul'dah has probably the largest mixed race population of all the city states. Ishgard has probably the lowest. LOL! Then if that's the case I will need to do something. Having a high ranking law enforcement person who is a red headed female Hyur (Melodia currently)....seems like it's being done already. :lol:

I think that might work. Especially since the Limsa law may be....light....at the moment. Haha! (2-4 people LS folks!) As for jurisdictional issues, that''s a good question for the Lore thread I started. But, I do recall seeing Yellowjackets, like in Lower La Noscea, when you go down that wooden walkway to the lower portion, over by where the wolves spawn....I recall some by the mines, and in other portions (Wineport? Morabay Docks?) So they do tend to have a wide swath throughout La Noscea. But again, some lore hounds may be able to provide a better answer on the lore thread. My work pc refuses to allow those links to open to get a better answer. All of that is just from memory of me mining.

I think I can also recall a lalafell but I need to take a walk again around the city and see. Maybe head around the La Noscea points to see everyone and have a better grasp. Part of my question there is just general knowledge....the other part is selfish. Hehe! I need to determine what do if I drink that fantasia when I reboot Melodia and so of course the 1001 questions I have of race come into it. Femroe? Miqo'te? Hyur? Elezen? Hmmmmmm.....lol.

I think Maelstrom is fine. I don't really know how I would limit it. Okay....I take that back. LOL! It would make no sense for Zhavi or Andralyn to be on the LS. Ruru wouldn't be. But I figure if you are tied to a law group or the military in general, it would fine. Anyone have thoughts that differ or suggestions?

Okay.,...seeing as how I am at work, looking up lore stuff will give me a death screen, I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the Yellowjacket lore? And maybe this can be a good repository for that info for others that are interested. I know the uniforms based on what I can see in the city, but other details would be awesome. Like, for instance, I see many with axes. Are they all Marauders or Warriors? Are they all Roes? I know in the Maelstrom I have seen Lalas (in Aleport), but every image I pull up shows the Yellowjackets as Roes. And rank structure. As a veteran I have my own idea of ranks, but would that translate here or does it mirror the Sultansworn (i.e. Captain Jenlys counterpart in Limsa)? So any info or links or ideas here would be awesome. Like I said, that way this thread can be a good resource for anyone interested in rp'ing as one or just for a better understanding of their role in the city.

Okay, so last night I didn't get a chance to set up the LS due to some personal matters, but I will be doing that today right when I log in. What I need from people is to know who wants to be invited to the LS. This would the official Yellowjacket LS for Limsa and I would assume it would be an IC LS. I can send out invites so if you are interested, please shoot me a PM or reply here because I am terrible with remembering and when I log in with Melodia my list of friends is nearly empty so I will definitely need a reference. And yes, Roen, I agree completely on that. And that's a good thing.

Yeah I have mentally prepared myself for this. And I am okay with it. There's so many shady types it hopefully won't be hard to at least interact with them in some way. As for the alt. Damn. Good thing I am up at 4 anyway. :lol: Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it.

Thank you. And yeah...even the other person probably forgot the scene it was that short and he ended up getting interrupted with rl isues. So likely not a big deal. And our FC...LOL....I last logged in with her about 50+ days ago? I think when I do log in they will all be like "Yay a new person!"

Okay, so I am considering using my alt Melodiafor the Yellowjackets in Limsa. Problem is I introduced her here on the forums as a sadistic killer villain. But only briefly. I only barely got to rp with her in game once for maybe 15 minutes before that ended abruptly. So my question is, can I reboot her? Start fresh and let the stuff that was just be done? She really is unusable as is and with this stuff I'd like to just start over with her, but I don't know how you all feel about that. Thoughts? And I mean a full on reboot, fanatasia and all.
