As much as I tried not to swipe another FF character's theme song, I have to go with Royal Wanderlust from FFXI (WOTG) It's the song that plays when you are in cut scenes with any of the Cait Sith, and for Avalt it suits his somewhat inquisitive nature perfectly 35EowqacIiY

Also an irrational fear of wizards.

Avalt, ever his overly-literal and confused self I would compare him to Dr Brennan from Bones (but the early seasons where she doesn't understand simple pop culture references) Her expression here is classic Avalt after he unwittingly insults somebody.

Level 1 Limit Whispering Wind Avalt summons a random number of untempered Sylph (between 1 and 4) to deal moderate lightning damage to a target. Damage dealt is then split, and restored as HP between the party members that are in close range of Avalt. Level 2 Limit Thundaga Fury Avalt channels his focus into casting a random number (between 5 and 15) of Thundaga spells towards a targetted area. If between 12-15 spells are cast, Avalt will be left in a weakened state. Level 3 Limit Ramuh's Judgement A storm rages in the sky above the field of conflict,

Avalt isn't the biggest fan of....anyone, really who isn't a Sylph!

I'd like to schedule a small gathering to learn the ways of thaumaturgy this Friday (16th May) at around 11pm GMT (6pm EST/3pm for you West coasters!) [align=center][/align] [align=center](Fifth Day = Friday)[/align] [align=center](Allagan Sunway = Eastern Thanalan, Wellwick Wood)[/align] I'd like to keep it reasonably cosy for any fellow seekers of knowledge and future vessels of destruction! This introduction will be aimed towards newer mages who wish to walk the path, and will include a short lecture on the history of thaumaturgy, along with combat strategems. The class will be topped off with a spar between any who wish to put what they have learned to the test! If this is well received, I would be happy to have any attendees to return for an intermediate class! The location will be Thal's Respite in Eastern Thanalan, due to the varying temperatures in the area, attendees would be advised to wear loose clothing (preferably a cowl/robe) and to gather outside the cavern from fifteen minutes before. Also, to come equipped an instrument to channel their strength (a scepter or staff). There will, of course be rules and regulations to keep the gathering safe. There shall be a zero tolerance policy on any unauthorised spellcasting, and any behavior that is detrimental to other's learning will result in them being asked to leave and/or hexed. Welcome! I'm also in the UK I don't get to RP as much as I would like, and three of my characters have kind of fallen into the teacher role! My main is Avalt, and he's twenty three (kind of) but very wise, but if I'm not on him, look for either Tara Wilde or Gwen Caladhiel They're both set in their late twenties!
