  1. Level 57? Time to grind dat Vault! (these are supposed to be comics after all)
  2. Who is that delightful young barmaid?
  3. I used a straight edge for the 4 lines of the blade itself. Otherwise, I used it to measure. Straight lines have always been rather easy for me, it's those curves that throw me off.
  4. Not FF related, but served as a good 'warm up' this morning.
  5. I know >_> I just grabbed what was available at work.
  6. Us Sultansworn, on the other hand, don't care about the gil. We'll just crack anyone's head who misbehaves in front of us.
  7. What I initially thought this thread was about. Welcome to our nightmare.
  8. What would have been hilarious (and what I expected) was shots of 90k, 2002, 5006, and other error screens.
  9. One for Eva because we haven't RPd in a while.
  10. With a budget of $2500? Skip the laptop. You can get a 980 GTX for ~$500-$700. Skip the i7 because you won't use hyperthreading, save money and get an i5 8 GB RAM, only get more if you plan on heavy multitasking Motherboard costs ~$200 240 GB SSD for around $200-250 (price may have dropped). All that and you're still at less than that $1700 laptop with a system that will blow it out of the water.
  11. Training with squires near camp Bluefrog. Hmm, quite a ways removed from the palace isn't it?
  12. On the twelth day of access Square Enix gave to me: Twelve spammers spamming Eleven trollers dancing Ten n00bies begging Nine farmers tagging Eight raiders raiding Seven crafters AFKing Six macros failing Five Free Fantasias! Four emo Au Ras Three reskinned gearsets Two buggy questlines Lo-ong queue times and a DC!
  13. Playing Witcher 3 until the hype dies out and the servers stabilize enough to log on.
  14. Don't be. A job is a job after all, especially in this climate. I still say one of the most -fun- jobs I ever had was flipping hamburgers. The job itself is never something to be ashamed of. If I could actually survive on what they insist on paying for that job, I'd go back to it in a heartbeat.
  15. The first thing I will do is wait all night for it to download since -everyone- will be streaming it at the same time and the servers will most likely be overloaded. The second thing I will do is stare mindlessly at the multitude of login errors and disconnections from everyone trying to break through the lobby server at once. The third thing I will do is spend an hour trying to click on the first quest giver because 500 people will be standing on top of him. The fourth thing I will do is go play a different game for a week or so till the initial rush dies down.
  16. If highlanders were meant to fly, we'd have sprouted wings.
  17. Crofte would be a very good damsel in distress.
  18. If I was coming into a pre-existing community built around a game world that was created with clearly defined backstory/lore, I would be eager to learn the "rules" of the world I was about to play, and would hope someone would immediately tell me if I was about to shit in their cereal. That is how I would want to be treated. It's called common courtesy.
  19. As a Paladin, Coatleque practices her barriers along with her sword skills. No, it won't stop a targeted onslaught, but I figure the common "protect" spell is enough to stop one or two before it collapses. I think of it like a 'mass effect' field (if you've played that game), only it can be recast at will so long as the caster can keep focus and has enough aether.
