I wanted to see a curly option, but all we got was another wavy for the voting on females...

Since we can post these now, this was my entry for the hairstyle contest: And also! I did a super quick sketch of Yuri's back tattoo, I might add more too it or spend more time on it later so it doesn't look so bad. lol

female male I'm a little disappointed in the female entries, no curlies, and just another wavy hairstyle, but super wavy. Also entry 1 and 14 are literally the same style just on different sides. lol But they're up! Remember that, according to the rules, only your LAST vote counts! So whatever you added a LIKE for LAST will be what your vote is counted towards! It's unknown whether or not more likes puts more entries into the drawing for the scarf -or- if it's just the two. So, be more safe than sorry and just like one each! In order to like a post, you must be logged in to the main forums and there's a button at the bottom of the post.

Arry for the most part is comedy relief. She's also a side character, kind of happy, rarely gets angry type. She tends to be a sidekick, rather than a 'hero' type. Akayuri is more or less the same, though less comedy relief aside from her 'broken Eorzean' and not knowing most of the slang. She's also a 'background' character, the type that kind of just hangs around quietly watching, then can tell other people about it. Like a narrator. Most of the time characters won't even know she's there unless they spot her (which is actually how she got into HoD IC; for weeks she just watched everyone until Lainseworth and Val spotted her in a corner behind a potted plant).

Akayuri is so secretive about being a shinobi that she runs from combat, and because she also just doesn't like conflict. If pressed into a corner, she'd probably fight but she'd try to make 'accidents' happen rather than flat out hand to hand combat, though, she knows a fair bit about that as well. Her family lived in a different village, and blended in with the locals as tebori (it's traditional Japanese tattooing, but I figured quite a bit would be parallel to the culture it's pulled from), and general merchants. When they were needed for their skills, it was easy to pass off as them going to another town or village to trade goods and services, returning either with money or goods in exchange. She looks and acts like a precious cinnamon bun, and for the most part is, but she will cause you to have an accident and then just leave you there.

I think there are a few similarities between my characters and I, but they're more spread out between them all. Bits here and there! Arrelaine: -Loves to sing and dance (though arguably she does it better than I) -Has a flirtatious manner, whether or not she means to. -Gets irritated easily, but rarely actually angry. -Loves to poke fun at people, very witty and catty. Akayuri: -Is a redhead! (Though I'm more the coppery type, full sun I look like a bunch of wires!) -Can be fairly naive at times. -Short as hell. I might think of more, but that's all I can really think of.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees sadly I didn't get there early enough to get in line for the reading, but I want one! Thanks for coming out, it was fun to watch too!

Yeah the major thing is creating a character on one of these servers. There are some other servers who are starting a community, I think Jenova being one of them, if you can't make it on the other two!

There is a prize for who votes, as well. Yeah but I don't think they're going to put up everyone's. Just whoever they pick as finalist. Hmmmm. I'm going to cross my fingers though and hope I make it that far. Hggggh.

I don't think they'll be letting the community vote. Which would be cool if it were done anonymously. And they did say pictures were allowed so. As long as they weren't someone else. As for the side mohawk, as much as I like that, they did say that some hairstyles wouldn't work for some of the races and I think they want something that all of them can wear. A side mohawk won't work for Au'ra or Miqo'te unless there's a bit of hair on the other side.

I'm hand drawing mine! I probably should have just picked a picture, cut it out and slapped it onto the model. ;(
