Everything is so wonderful. I'm so, so, so excited. I don't think there's a thing I saw that I dislike. I do wish there was more information on the jobs but I can live without. I am super excited for Astrologian. It was Ezhara's initial theme and I'm glad there's going to be a job to go with it. Admittedly, I am excited to just explore too. The zones look so beeaautiifull and complex. Did I mention how much want I have for the AF2? Ugh, guys, cannot contain my excite.

I think the common consensus on threads like these (because there are others), is that: "People will do what people want." At the end of the day, we can't security check for under age players. We can only take their word for face value. Erotic scenes with minors can be completely avoided by fading to black. You could have an aromantic character or only keep romance to specific people you trust. However, ultimately, no one has the right to police someone else's RP. All you can do is: - Ask (tells or otherwise) - Check to see if they have a wiki - Choose to take their answer for face value - Depart or remain in the RP. Ultimately, we're not bound to places and things that make us uncomfortable. If you know a minor (IC or OOC) is participating in something you don't condone in (let's say) the Quicksand, then you can go out, do something, come back later. Initiate your own protection, that's all anyone can really do.

Nothing, but RP elitists will shit all over it. I'm comfortable with being labeled an elitist. Well, at least you admit you're already probably wrong about it. I realize it's a feeling I have influenced by the bad experiences I've had in XIV and not necessarily true. Having said that I'd really welcome the coming months providing empirical evidence that I am. Well, there'll certainly be none that you're right. I'd like to request comments like these are kept out of this thread. Specifically calling someone out on how they feel and declaring it "wrong" is not appropriate here. Likewise, attempting to bait people into an argument is also not appreciated. Please make sure that you come into this comversation with the mindset to discuss your thoughts and opinions politely and professionally. I'd prefer this be a discussion, again, and not an argument. Otherwise, it is interesting to read how people view this subject, specifically after reading the article.

Recently, an article came across my facebook on the action known to writers as, "Bleed." This is the spillover between players and characters. I thought that the article itself was a neat perspective to read. I'm sure this has been discussed to the ends of the world and back, and I'm not looking for this thread to turn into an argument but it would be interesting to know how people feel after reading the article. All right lovely. Here's what you're going to want to do: > Customize (to edit your theme) > Up at the top click, " Edit HTML." > Ctrl-F (Your "Find Text" tool). This should open a small "text" box over the code. > Search for: "ede2d1" or "eae0d1" it should be one of those colors, likely the former. Change it to something like, "332826" (that's the dark brown). Alternatively, you can try looking for, "fff," or, "ffffff" but there might be more of it making narrowing it down a little harder (that would change the white background). If that doesn't work let me know and I'll try to give you something else to do. <3

Playing upon the concept of the "Seven Deadly Sins," I'll sort of list them off in that fashion. Lust This is going to be her major one. Ezhara spent a handful of years as a courtesan and whereas that does entail a lot of other traits, sexual aspects come with the job. Greed It depends on the context. Material items are not something required for Ezhara's happiness (she's survived long enough on bare basics). However, she is "greedy" in a different sense. With a high value on the lives she's chosen to entwine with hers, she can be protective, occasionally overly so. Wrath Exterior and interior. Ezhara has killed people but no one that she wouldn't kill again. All her choices have been made in the defence of her or people she loves. With a preference to heal people over kill them, Ezhara's decision to kill someone comes with a great debate in her mind. Almost always (if not always) the people / things she has killed have been beyond -- what she believes -- savable. On a similar road, Ezhara suffers from a handful of terrors from her past. Plagued with the inability to sleep well from survivor's guilt, she also has abandonment issues, and an assortment of other anxiety quirks. Wrapping them up in an unpleasant bow is her depression. Having been self-abusive (mentally and physically), she's certainly "sinning" in this sense. Though, as time goes on, she's starting to build herself stronger and push through. It's a slow process. Sloth This is not a sin Ezhara truly suffers from. Gluttony This is another sin that Ezhara does not really partake in. Envy It's not unusual for Ezhara to be envious of what people may or may not have over her. This is just a trait that comes to people almost naturally. However, the greatest jealousy she once had she's mostly overcome, due to it no longer being a presence within her life. Pride Again, this is not a trait that Ezhara hosts. She's incredibly humble as a character and strives to be just that. It would also greatly conflict with her self-inflicted "wrath" trait. . . . Yup!

Ezhara does not react poorly to physical touch. As an ex-courtesan and a healer she can understand the importance of body language and connection through touch. Of course, she'll likely startle if someone gets into her guard without her notice. Respectfully, she will always ask (in some form) unless she's been given permission in the past.

Tiergan, who has created the Red Lotus plot and really tried his best to make sure everyone feels included. R'shenn, Phae'ra, and N'obdhi, who have stayed up for countless of hours (I lost track after fifteen) trying to get everyone their WoD gear. The general community, who have just been so lovely! Hello tumblr users! One of the things that people seem to really enjoy is ask prompts for their characters. It's one of those things we can see other people get and sort of long for ourselves. I mean, who doesn't like receiving questions about their characters? A concept I had in mind was to either create a blog that updates (at least weekly) with a new ask for your character. You can reblog this question and answer it. Additionally (my life pending) I was thinking about sending out asks to everyone who is actually following the blog (again, this will be a weekly thing). Would that interest anyone here? Let me know!
