  1. Mhaya's home doubles as a tavern! While it's a personal owned home and has no private rooms, there's spare couches I'm sure she could let someone crash on.
  2. Hey there again! Do you guys have a Linkshell for non-FC members? The theme is something Mhaya would jump at the chance to assist, but I find myself in a Free Company that I currently am greatly enjoying!
  3. Just a reminder to those signing up: Try to be at the event ten minutes before start so I can start setting up our scoreboard!
  4. Bring a drink with you at your own risk, Riven!
  5. I agree with one of the earlier posts about using your skill to facilitate things. I play Mhaya as having a skillset involving melee combat (See, Swords, shields, fists and axes), and a minor ability with Thaumaturgy (I'd imagine her greatest skill is Fire II). This makes it believable for her to go into other magicks such as what a Dark Knight would use. However, Mhaya has no ability in conjury, leaving her unable to heal her own wounds, and is probably the worst arcanist to ever step into the Arcanist's Guild. (We did a funny RP where Mhaya accidentally summoned a two-headed Carbuncle and put down her grimoire in shame). This also makes it so if Mhaya needs an expert on Conjury, Thaumaturgy or other things, she's forced to seek out a person. Additionally, even with what she's highly skilled in, she's by no means the best and makes mistakes occasionally. Then again, I enjoy playing characters whose flaws shine as well as their masteries, I believe it adds some depth!
  6. I'd be happy to assist! You know how to get a hold of me in-game.
  7. Hey there! Keeping you up to date, I saw your response and my offer is standing as long as it is needed. ^^
  8. Reina, are there any materials you guys could use for this? I have some spares and I'd like to contribute if possible. Shoot me a PM if you'd like!
  9. A huge shout-out to the folks in Crescent for their amazing work! They're a joy to be around and get the job done!
  10. Below this line will be sign-ups for the tournament on 10/16/2015 at 8 PM EST! ==========================================================
  11. Mhaya's reputation is probably something like this: Ul'dah: Known gladiator with a mean streak against ogres and giants, and bartender at her own tavern. Limsa Lominsa: Someone who stops in the city to confirm shipments of various drinks and foods, nothing special. Gridania: Probably similar to Limsa Lominsa depending on who you'd ask. She's likely seen around the marketplaces or various guilds. Ishgard: Can't imagine she really has made a name for herself here yet, be it good or bad. 'Another face in the crowd' likely sums it up!
  12. 58 to 59 is an annoying level. If you happen to have 10+ leves stocked up, do some Battlecraft Temple leves! When I exhausted my supply of 100 at 59-60, I got over half a level, so it'd be an even higher % for 58 to 59! They're also easy and take VERY little time, and can reward Allagan Gold Pieces, selling for 2500 apiece.
  13. I really like your avatar picture! How'd you like to RP sometime? Mhaya could use some more Roe friends so she isn't the tallest thing in the room, could join Mar and I! (Yay compliments -and- invitations!) (Edit: Someone else posted! I love your signature, too!)
  14. Hey everyone. This is a tough topic for me to speak on, as I've lived with depression for a very long time. I just want to offer my condolences to Xydane, and let others know you're not alone. If you ever feel down and have nobody to talk to, even though I'm a complete stranger to most, you can shoot me a tell. Even if it's a talk about the most random stuff, sometimes having someone to blab to can really make a difference. I do not mind being pulled aside to help someone. I encourage it. I hope that I can help at least one person!
  15. I read your lore stuff, and really enjoyed it! It taught me some 1.0 stuff that I wasn't privy to, and I'm really glad it was put together.
  16. Bump in support of a fellow gladiator! Mhaya's always around to help train new gladiators or spar with those already experienced. Any reading this are welcome to send a tell and help this grow.
  17. Below this line will be sign-ups for the Tournament on 10/1/2015 at 8 PM EST, 5 PM PST! I've decided to move the tournaments to Fridays as to not interfere with a few community events that already work on Saturday evenings! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18. As of now the 9/18 Sign-ups have concluded! Those wishing to RP at the tournament may attend, but be courteous about post-size! (In the event a lot are posting, limit yours to 1-2 lines!)
  19. Hey there! Just wanted to post here. Mhaya runs a tavern out of The Goblet in the basement of her personal home. She could probably use a hand, and I figure that'd give you an avenue into meeting others to RP with. Feel free to shoot me a tell! I'm about to log into the game and will be on for a few good hours.
  20. I. Basic Info Characters: Mhaya Bajihri Primary character: Mhaya Bajihri Linkshells: Red Hands(Crafting Union), Excellent Roleplay, A Realm United Primary RP linkshell: Hugs and Cake II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium, story-driven. Views on RP combat and injuries: If done properly, can be something to help advance a story! Just don't try to shoot Mhaya in public point-blank. Don't want her dead! Views on IC romance: Definitely a possibility! Mhaya's got a soft spot for romantic stuff but isn't prone to letting anyone know that. She has to keep up appearances! Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Am looking for someone to RP Mhaya's father, think it would add a direction to a story that could greatly add character depth. Additionally, any Bloodsands fighters are welcome to approach and hash out some ideas! Views on lore: I love learning about lore. While I'm not knowledgeable in every last thing, I'm always willing to add to my knowledge of it. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I don't mind OOC in say chat, and most of my linkshells are purely OOC to help organize RP! III. Other Info Country: United States Timezone: EST Contact info: Skype, Steam, Battle.net. I generally give these out if I click with someone and don't mind chatting out of game!
  21. Hey there! I believe I met you briefly at an RP event somewhere! I wouldn't mind RP'ing with you again sometime. I had a lot of fun! Shoot me a tell sometime.
  22. To all fans and enthusiasts of the Triple Triad card game! (OOC NOTE: Due to a few difficult schedule conflictions I'm being forced to set the events for Sundays, Bi-weekly for now on! Keep an eye on the calendar for updates!) (A series of fliers can be seen within all capital cities on posting boards.) After the stunning success of the first Triple Triad tournament, I've decided to host one every two weeks! This would not have been possible without the help of the amazing individuals who managed the bar and cooked for us to keep everybody satisfied! This tournament will take place within The Goblet's eighth Ward, Plot twelve! The Wandering Tonberry has offered to help host the events at their home! OOC: Hey everyone! After how much fun the last Triple Triad tournament was, I've decided to hold one every two weeks! I was very satisfied with the friendly and outgoing behavior of all who attended, and I feel many of the roleplayers there made new connections to further their RP outside of the tourney! What rules will this tournament be using? The rules of the next Triple Triad tournament will be as follows: Tonberry Cup Rules: Rule 1: Same Rule 2: Ascension EDIT: 10/2/2015: In the event the Reverse rule is active at a tournament, the deck requirements are lifted! It is, however, preferred you use five 1-star cards for obvious reasons! EDIT 11/9/2015: In the event Reverse rule is active at a tournament, a competitor may only use ONE of the following per hand: Amalj'aa Gaelicat Usage of both is forbidden! Every pair competing in the tournament must abide by tournament rules. While mistakes may happen (And in the event of forgetting a rule, a rematch will happen to keep things fair), I will restate this at the time of pairings to minimize those chances! UPDATE: 1/20/16: I'm adding in a new rule after some constructive criticism and talk to make tiebreakers a little more fair! If a tiebreaker for first place happens, the winner will take it, and the loser knocked down a rank, to second. There, they will tiebreak against any respective individuals for second. In the event of three(or more) individuals in a ranking place, a round-robin style will commence! Each player will play each player as though in the normal tournament, and the highest amount of points will be declared winner! (Much thanks to Anton for helping me sort this all out, couldn't do it without ya) How will this tournament be fair to those with less cards? This is the part of the tournament that I actually took the most time to plan out. In the end, there is no way to make it COMPLETELY even, but this method works to bridge that gap the most. Below is how it will work: I call this the Fairness rule. Every player with 30+ cards will make two decks: One deck composed of four 1-star cards, and one of their choice, and one deck composed of four 2-star cards, and one of their choice. A player with 60+ cards will be asked to make a third deck composed of four 3-star cards and one of their choice. Upon time of match-up, both players will call out the number of cards they own. EXAMPLE: Mhaya has 93 cards, and Tonberry has 12. Both players will have to play their 1-star decks to make it the most fair for Tonberry. Are there any entry fees or prizes?! There are no entry fees required to join this tournament! However, since I will have to set up a ladder, I will have a mandatory cap of twenty competitors! As a note, everyone is welcome to come RP, and there is nothing saying you -must- be a competitor to attend this event. The cut-off for participation will be Friday, September 18th and 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PM PST). To sign up, post your name here in a response! As per prizes, a few friends and I will be setting up great prizes for the top three winners! They are as follows: For the first-place competitor: Prizes this week will be announced at the tournament! For the second-place competitor: For the third-place competitor: Additionally, all three ranking winners will earn three 4-man undersized duties assisted by myself and those who help run the tournament! This is to help people obtain any cards they may have missed in 4-man content. (Please contact Mhaya Bajihri about this! It will be very difficult to remember everybody, so a little initiative goes a long way!) As a final note for this portion: In the event I (Mhaya Bajihri) do compete in the tournaments to come, and place in the top three, I will be giving the prize for that place to a random competitor. I would be only competing for fun and want to see these prizes go to those who show up and attend the events. What if someone cheats? I hope this never happens at one of my tournaments, but in the event an act of cheating or illegitimacy occurs, it will be dealt with, likely in the expulsion of the party doing said act. (I really hope this doesn't happen, but am putting this down just in case!) Questions? Concerns? If anyone has an inquiry or an idea that may make this event even better, feel free to send a tell to Mhaya Bajihri in-game. I am more than willing to listen to ideas and answer any questions that may come up! UPDATE 2/28/16: I'm doing away with the signup list! At first it was a good idea, helping me organize who showed up, but as I now have more help available, entrants are encouraged to simply show up!
  23. Hrm. Never signed myself up for one of these before. What the heck, I'll put Mhaya in for RP or PvE!
