Nef would be down for some eggnog drinking games.. but sadly I probably won't be able to be ingame as I'll be driving all day. >_< I'd suggest things that encourage interactions between players. too bad FFXIV doesn't have ugly xmas sweaters. I just ate a really good dinner so I'm really sleepy, and thus am having trouble thinking. Any suggestions for good interactive things? I'd love to hear some and implement them! Hrm.. some things I've seen some folks do are things like competitions, I heard one group is doing a scavenger hunt (maybe group 2-4 people and they have to figure out the clues together), a dance off (could be tricky since some dances are quest/seasonal rewards and not everyone might have them), I could probably come up with some others but the rules would be a bit complicated and I probably wouldn't have them done intime. I dunno why but something like gingerbread house making or bringing an artistic dish. very subjective as it would just be an emote-off. I like some of these! Would you message me in-game? I think we can think up some awesome stuff together!!

I have no links for what I found today, but rummaging through some stuff from years ago I found a few CD's I used to enjoy a lot. I hope so. If they have some concrete plans to fix things I'd love to resub. I'm awaiting the live letter with far more hope than I feel is safe! (I really want that DRK sword ;_; )

Live letter is coming up! They'll be addressing problems noted on the forums, etc. For the record, JP community is pretty upset about it too so we may see some tweaks, hopefully! (I was on the fence about my sub as well, but have decided to stay because I literally paid my next increment yesterday).

Adding here that Hunts and Alex are pretty viable time-wise. Hunts reward Allied / Law / Poe, and Alexander if you DF can result in a new player (more Law) as well as Law + Currency. Daily roulettes are an obvious benefit, but those two stand out for me as things that you can do with moderation that won't cause you to quit the game in frustration!

I would totally run T9 with you since I have several kids that need to pass it still! And eventually to FCoB. But yes, my Starlight Wishlist is to gain access to and just get some drops in FCoB. Just so I have some for glamours. In return, I can tank and DPS most anything. (No access to Alex Savage and Thordan EX) Hit me up! T9 is so much fun and I wouldn't have to tank it for once! Sounds like a win-win for me.

Hey there! As someone who's run all 13 turns on content, most of them at 50 are beatable with about an hour of investment and having watched a video beforehand. Off the top of my head, the three that will really pose a threat to groups at 50 are Turn 9, 12 and 13 due to respective unique mechanics for their time. Around the turn of the New Year I may have some spare time to offer help, though! (I know how to teach all of them save for Turn 8, never invested a lot of time in it when we pushed to 9). You're right, though. Unsynced Coil runs are a snorefest. A lot of them can be cleared within 5 minutes with how high damage gets at 60 with Echo! If you want any more info, you can always whisper me in-game. I'd love to help in any way I can even if I'm busy for the foreseeable future.

With the Starlight season fast approaching, us here at Quarry's Run with the help of a few free companies are going to be hosting a Starlight celebration for all to attend and enjoy! There will be a fair number of festivities to enjoy at the celebration, such as a storytelling circle, a gift exchange, and more, as well as an overall dress theme of Starlight attire or otherwise wintry colors! This event will be held at the Dread Wyrms' mansion, located at The Goblet, Ward 7 Plot 13 at 8 PM EST! In an attempt to keep the average price value of gifts around the same value, try to purchase a gift for another with a maximum value of 75,000 gil. You're welcome to go above and beyond if you truly want to dazzle a random stranger, of course, but a 75,000 ceiling is one that's easy to reach, and a lot of nice crafted items around that value have materials that are easy to gather! We'll be putting up a word doc with participants' names to help organize and match! To note, we will be pairing people up as they arrive at the Celebration! A Story Circle: What better to help accentuate the feel of the Starlight season than to share stories with friend and stranger alike around a warm fire? Hot cocoa is sure to be served on-site, and with some luck the weather may even be a little snowy! Stories are recommended to be on the shorter end to give every interested individual a chance! Tree Decorations: To add a little creative flair alongside the story circle, afterward any interested individual will be welcome to add their own ornament onto the Starlight Tree! It can be anything you'd like, be it something to represent a Free Company, a character, or just something you find really neat! A Starlight Photobooth: The idea was suggested to me by Crescent, the entertainment company! This would be headed by them and would be active throughout festivities! They'd also have members going about to capture pictures of the event as it happens! A Costume Stage: Edited as a request to The Dread Wyrms, this will actually serve as a little costume contest! There will be three judges and a few means of being graded! ''Best Costume'', ''Most Original / Runner Up'' and ''Most Humorous''. There is no limit to how many can sign up as a group for this!
