I've been absent for a bit and haven't updated anything regarding Eventide. However, I'm here now! Several changes have been made, so even if the update seems a bit subtle, it better reflects the direction that Eventide has taken. The Eventide Inn Mist, Ward 8, Plot 36 Lavish services at a reasonable rate! Hotel amenities lean towards simple to opulent, and cater to a variety of travelers for short- to long-term needs. Each room has a particular theme and can accommodate up to two guests. Eventide is an open RP spot, so feel free to come and go as you please. Eventide (Mist - Ward 8 - Plot 36 - NW Subdivision Aetheryte) was a tavern/inn, but I recently renovated it to become a hotel. The ground floor is set up for a reception hall as I've been hosting some wedding parties lately, but the other two floors are ready for use as an inn. It's considered a public RP spot, so feel free to go there anytime. I also do reservations for parties, but I must warn you that medium houses aren't very good with 15+ people as the spam can get ridiculous. edit: Had the plot number wrong. Sorry!

Either the GM is new, doesn't understand the situation, or isn't fully aware of the ToS, because trading gil for housing is in no way a violation of the ToS. There isn't any actual RMT going on here -- just players exchanging gil for a service (the right to relinquishment). I understand that gil isn't even being exchanged in this scenario, but the above still rests. The only thing that might flag your account is exchanging large quantities of gil, which might place you under review. However, what is debatable is if they will investigate and do something in case there is a scam or the transaction goes awry. If you want clarification, I'd not only e-mail support but also put this up on the official forums. They might take it down due to the GM's name being visible, so that should be blurred. Hopefully that will give a better response as to whether this GM's opinion overrides the actual Terms of Service.
