  1. Jack should also help Kat try to brave Qarn or at least tell her what to expect. But I guess Ramona would also share a converastion or two with the guy, he seems like a traveled sort of person who knows things...GIL MAKING THINGS. *Gasp* Jack is an innocent, poor soul! Very poor! Also we can't have two tanks in there! Unless you have a pre formed party. Jack is a strength build after all, good deeps.
  2. Jack is always there to help ya! Jack is very bored. Jack gets lonely. But Jack is ready.

    Hello

You have fantastic timing, my friend. The Quicksand in Ul'dah is the gathering spot for a lot of people. It's never dead, not even at 5 am. I'd try there when given the chance. Over all, have fun. Hope to see ya there.
  4. I second this. One of my FC members on Behemoth had a cat face that said "Chicken Nyaggets?" and I'm gonna need more of them.
  5. Throw in your name anyways, you can always add in screenshots later. Alrighty, if you say so. Name: Jack Walker World: Balmung Character Main class/job/role: Warrior/traveler Card: The Fool Reason for card choice: "The Fool is the spirit in search of experience. Herepresents the mystical cleverness bereft of reason within us, the childlike ability to tune into the inner workings of the world. On his back are all the possessions he might need." = Exactly what Jack is. (Based off of this and Sagittarius star sign. Wiki for info.) Tumblr: N/A Screenshots: (Also CG Hyur Midlander on google) (Edited for stuffs)
  6. Me: "Ooh sounds interesting, I like The Fool card. Let's see here.. By Jan 20th? No problem, today's the 19th. Screenshots? Yeah sure I'll jus- Oh my god the maintenance. I can't take the shots." And that's why you keep a little folder of premade screenies of your characters. Nonetheless, can't wait to see these.
  7. Red Duck! I met you in the Quicksand! You complimented my axe. Good times.
  8. Mine is Aiegis01 I'd love more contacts.
  9. That much actually makes sense though, because he doesn't even reveal he knows how to fight like a rogue until much later in the story and you don't see him fight again (that I can recall) after the Rogue reveal. If they retconned him to use two daggers from the start of the story and then you get to the Leviathan part of the MSQ and he whips out a second dagger like it's a big surprise everyone would be confused. In 1.0, Thancred and the other Scions fought Gaius and ol' Thanny pulled out a bunch of Throwing Daggers. So basically he goes rogue when the going gets tough. At least, that's my speculation. After that mission, everyone in my party thought there was going to be a dagger class. But then the game got scrapped and years later, we got what we wanted.
  10. Trial players are in fact limited to one player per server. From what I've read, the best time to slip in is Wednesday through Friday, in the small hours of the morning. I personally had a character on another server and after paying an $18 transfer fee, I switched to Balmung with no problem. It's more expensive but more certain.
  11. Update Thank you all for the suggestions. I decided to follow the majority vote and I transferred over to Balmung. I hope to meet plenty of you there. Thanks!
  12. DISCERNING HUMAN WIZARD FROM THE FREELANDS WHO IS ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHED BY JUGGLERS How do they do it?
  13. Jack: "Can't follow directions." But really it's "Laid back"
  14. I generally use it as a way of trailing off. "Also my foot got stuck, but that's neither here nor there..." And that would be the end of my thought. I know I confuse people by it. They don't know whether I want to continue talking or if I'm done. Even more confusing for the opposite party, I sometimes do continue talking. It's really a matter of reading context clues and hoping you aren't interrupting someone when they use it... And I did it again...
  15. He's ilvl 90-ish Warrior but that's the only class that is that high. So it's not too inconvenient (to me anyways) to start fresh.
  16. Traveling with all sorts of different people since an early age, Jack just kind of picked up bits and pieces here and there from merchants and the like. He felt it might be valuable to know, so he kept studying. Lots of time to study when you lead a largely unproductive lifestyle.
  17. Background: I happened to join a RP fc on Behemoth, and was told about this rp community, so I'm not exactly fresh, but I am new. So for the past few days (Thursday to Saturday), I've been sitting at the character creation screen refreshing the world list every 3 minutes, waiting for either Gilgamesh or Balmung to open for a second. I would do this from midnight to 7am each night (us central time) with no avail. My question is; should I cough up the $18 and transfer characters, skipping the "growing" process, or remain vigilant in my quest to slip in? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
