This little tidbit was added a bit ago, but I don't believe the thread was bumped, so here's some info for those left wandering, wondering and confused: "Intermission pearls #1 and 2 are mostly full. If you are looking for a pearl, feel free to try pearls 1 & 2, as slots open up occasionally. If you are unable to get a pearl for either, try #3." I'm also in the process of trying to take daily screenshots of the shells at varying times to get a hopefully accurate picture of who has quit and/or never plays the game so we can free up space in all the shells. I can cover from about 2pm est to 4 am est successfully, but any help people already in the shells could offer on getting screenshots in early morning hours to around noon would be very much appreciated .

First off I'd like to say I love you all for keeping this topic civil so far. In the past its gotten downright nasty when people discuss servers and it makes us cry ; ;. To reiterate, none of us are saying you HAVE to RP on Balming or Gilgamesh, those are just the servers we've chosen to give our main support to on the website. Even then, if you check sections like the linkshell hall, we've included a section for shells from other servers to post up their ads and anyone is welcome to use the calendar announcement system to post their events as well, regardless of server. A third server will not be given forum space here on the RPC, but we do recognize any and all other servers that have RPers on them and have said as much in the past. That's what the point of the site is, after all, right ?

There is a HUGE possibility that the website may have a key logger and you will compromise your account. Even if you have a security token, SE's servers are NOT secure right now, so if you did curiously click the link, I HIGHLY suggest running a check on your system before logging in. Soliloquy Performing Arts Tavern often gathers in Wine Port (though it's a temporary location and we claim that out location is in Limsa) for, you'd never guess it, performance and tavern rp : P. Xenedra Ambreaus (that's me !) and Abaigeal Causland would be your contacts .

I'm seeing a whole lot of overreacting to people finding ways to hurry up a time consuming process. It's the nature of man to take what we are given and find ways to do it efficiently. In the case of long distances? Pack animals, cars, boats, planes. In the case of an MMO dungeon? Sometimes that's a speed run. : P Are we really rushing in and condemning people for doing this? Some of them are jerks, yes, but... they aren't ALL jerks (as has been said many times in this thread already :>). Many of them, no, shall I say, US (gasp!), were just trying to be efficient. I will also point out that many of us, when asked, are quite willing to go back and help others advance, as well. And you know what? We have experience and awesome gear, so the people we helped had a good time of it and maybe learned a thing or two as well. I could go on and on about how innocent speed runs were for most of the people I run dungeons with, but what I'm really trying to get across here is that there's no need to go in, guns blazing, on the mild majority. I, and many others certainly weren't out to mess up anyone's gaming experience. Is it necessary to point fingers and call names? There are plenty of great posts in this thread branching off of the dungeon modification that don't require any of us to throw around "cheater" or "elitist." Thank some of you guys for that! Sum up: be nice, please~! I'm changing this topic name to start what I hope will be a change in tone in this thread.

It actually was sub con in 1.0. I miss cure so much ; ;. And why do I have the healing limit break if I can't even cure!? /frustration. On the flip side, having two melee classes worth of buffs is nice :>

When 1.0 started up, I actually had to wait 3 days before Besaid (old Balmung) opened up, but it DID reopen eventually after the servers settled. It's just sort of a thing MMOs do, y'know? If you can stand the wait, I'd suggest giving it a couple days, maybe just making your characters on another server and getting some RP in. Hopefully the server you want will be open during early access/launch though. Good luck!
