I loved Fallout 2, never really got into the newer ones. Same with Elder Scrolls actually, I loved Morrowind, mixed feelings about Oblivion and I never even finished Skyrim. And damn you're making me feel old, I played all those at release... :blush:

Yes! I first got into RPGs with Baldur's Gate and loved all of those, along with KOTOR, Icewind Dale, Fallout, Morrowind...I could go on.

If you do transfer, there is a sizable EU community on Balmung - check out the European Directory for FCs, LSs and events. Speaking purely for myself, I don't really notice any lag either. Hope this helps!

Not sure what time zone you're in but Jackal & Hide is recruiting. It's possible a younger character could be taken under the wing and shown how to fend for themselves, although they won't be coddled. No dark plots but we do run afoul of the law from time to time. :dodgy:

Ahem, I mean, welcome back!

We've updated the main listing to include reference to our FC plot which is well under way now. Much intrigue, so mystery, wow. I'll continue writing reports after events to keep everyone up to speed. We expect this particular storyline will be resolved in a month or two, after which we'll begin plotting the next one. Mwahaha! There's also now a section about our current headquarters in Costa del Sol, which is where we run our public bar event. A shack on the coast counts as a house, right...? We do intend to move to a more permanent fixture at some point but that's very dependent on the availability of housing on Balmung so we're making the most of what we can get!

Very interesting posts and I'm looking forward to reading the rest when it's up. I just have to say I'm so sorry you've encountered rude people like the ones in your rant post. I've found non-native speakers to be quite common on EU realms in other MMOs (and consequently less-than-perfect English is hardly an issue) so it's shocked and saddened me to hear what you've had to deal with. I think this guide is a very positive way to counter it! What?! I'm outraged! Just kidding.

Inarah has murdered in self defence, although whether the force used was justified is another matter... Thievery and lies galore too but her targets are far from pristine themselves. She views her crimes as means to an end and doesn't particularly feel any guilt over them.
