The next segment arrives!

The community does seem a lot kinder here than in other MMOs I've played (looking at you, WoW). Lots of instances of people passing on gear, opting out of speed runs because somebody needs something from a full run, being chill instead of raging after several wipes, etc. Most recently I was doing my hunting log and another player was hunting the same mobs. We were racing to tag them as the spawn rate was rather low. I was getting really frustrated until I noticed she had tagged and immediately stopped attacking. I finished them off and got the credit for it too. Maybe that doesn't seem like much but in other games I've had other players go out of their way to stop me getting the kill I needed.

Those are some great ideas! We're still discussing entertainment amongst ourselves but if yourself or anyone else would like to perform, or lead something, please do get in touch. We're hoping this can be a sort of casual (since it is after all an open air bar) stage for thespian characters.

She seems to do all sorts of jobs, from delivering oddly shaped parcels to escorting merchants from city to city. And perhaps some other things that she probably doesn't want you to know about. Her profile isn't very high and she could easily get lost in the crowd.[/align] [align=justify]Although she is perfectly polite to strangers, she has a rather timid outward demeanour and comes across as a bit nervous. Meta Profile She's a rogue. There, I said it. Yes, she does do the whole thieving bit but she's not an evil person. She won't murder innocent people and she avoids stealing from friends or those who are, like her, struggling to make ends meet. For the most part, she's just trying to adjust to city life and scrape together what coin she can so she's not sleeping on the streets.[/align]

Hello and welcome! I don't know. Like, I'm just not used to the idea of having like an alpha male type of thing. I've never done anything remotely close to being related to that, so integrating it into my character is going to be a challenge for me. Nothing I can't handle, I don't think, but I'll need to read up a bit more on it and let it sink in I suppose. I may be wrong here, but I was under the impression that it's not necessarily the Nunh that leads, and therefore becomes "alpha male", in every tribe. Sometimes he does take on the leadership role, but I think that's by no means a given...?

It was a fun game, lots of good memories. I can't remember the name of my first server now but I was on Amia for awhile and it's still going strong from what my friend who plays there says.

I see Kilid's beat me to it so I'll just say looking forward to hearing from you, or hearing about you via Kilid hehe.

Hmm, might be able to work with you on something at some point. We deal with all sorts of people and items, so it's possible that we'd end up running into Velhi and either working alongside or opposite him. Perhaps something to bear in mind later, as you say you're still developing him?

Hello and welcome! What sort of RP were you looking for with Velhi? I'm thinking it might be along the lines of what Inarah tends to get involved in...which could be interesting! And I forgot to say, Inarah is more of a tribal Seeker herself. She's only recently left her tribe so still carries a lot (most?) of the old attitudes.

I don't have any answers to the original questions as I've wondered the same myself, but I wanted to say that's a lovely interpretation you have there. Although I'm still learning about Seeker lore, I was leaning towards something like this for Inarah's sire. The U tribe women at least do seem to spend most of their time hunting so I think it would make sense.

Wildstar's was pretty amazing, and even garrisons in WoW aren't limited by the players on the server. I really do struggle to see why it's the way it is in FFXIV.
