Oh, cool! I'm planning to create a mercantile concern out of Limsa Lominsa as a Free Company so we can provide a venue for the community to RP at through the housing system. It's just supposed to be a small thing as far as membership goes, too. Perhaps we can be (friendly?) rivals! :thumbsup:

They're both things the developers are well aware people want, and they do intend to add more Classes and/or Jobs before they even do an expansion. When and exactly what is unknown, but you should expect them to be some of the more likely possibilities.

It's good, because I don't know of anything bad about you, but you seemed very sociable? I haven't played since a little after Halloween, really. Barely ever RPed there, even when I did. Nothing bad to say about any of it. Just didn't grab me.

Hey, I know you (sorta, indirectly) from GW2! Uh, yep! This is the biggest RP community for FFXIV. There are others determined to go it on their own, for various reasons, but nothing nearly so populous or diverse as here. :thumbsup:

Meaningless for the second, but for the one you want you can swap it to her right cheek and make it more visible with that hairstyle. Those people are spewing streams of nonsense that have nothing to do with how Thaumaturges (and by extension Black Mages) work now. The ARR design means you need to use all three elements to be effective, however there's nothing wrong with playing up a fondness for Fire, as Fire is going to be your big damage dealer. You just need to lay down an occasional Thunder for the DoT, and switch to Blizzard when your MP gets low.

It's really just flavour, to have a ready-made one-size-fits-all background for player characters when it just has to be addressed for narrative reasons. Except, of course, it really doesn't fit all. Basically, ignore it. If you want to use it, use it because it's what you wanted to do anyway. If it's not, just pretend it doesn't exist. It's just not helpful when looking for lore.
