  1. Eva! Your post count is ALL LUCKY SEVENS! Also, thank you, both of you. :3
  2. Heh. I'm actually thinking of making a purely RP Free Company, but it's an alt thing, to provide RP opportunities for the community. I'll still prefer to join something more balanced in its aims on my main. :cactuar:
  3. I should draw more art.
  4. Okay, screw it. I'm just gonna dump all the FFXIV sketches and scribbles I've done since the last post in here (except that one Deirdre picture because full-frontal nudity) no matter how much I cringe at them.
  5. I'm happy to be a 'floating mentor', helping people out as they ask, but I don't think I can do the one-on-one, personal coach thing.
  6. I cannot criticise your work. You are doing things I have no experience with. I'll just say you do a pretty darn good job of giving the impression of a thing without actually replicating the thing. Also, I wanna say that's Limsa Lominsa, probably? Or maybe Ishgard from an unfamiliar angle?
  7. Actually, to be honest, right now I'm not playing anything really. Between my insomnia, drawing and rediscovered obsession for Exalted, I can't concentrate on videomagamings.
  8. I just want to point out one thing that I don't think has been brought up: Concerns about higher level players robbing you of a chance to experience levelling content as it was designed are completely null and void due to level scaling. If you want to do a level 20 dungeon, you can advertise freely, and anyone who joins you will be bumped down to an appropriate level. Even having the very best endgame gear will not matter, as level scaling causes your gear's stats to be equivalent to a much lower quality while in effect. No worries about FATEs, either, as being overlevelled will result in receiving no rewards, so scaling down will be standard (and I believe something the game does by default unless you specifically override it).
  9. That does look improved, indeed! :moogle:
  10. Oh! I know exactly where you've gone wrong with her hair: Her hairline is way too high. Her forehead should be between a half and two-thirds as high before it reaches the hairline. Adjust that, and you should be able to bring down the general volume at the back to something more manageable. The hairline does not start at the very top of the skull, and is lower on women in particular. <-See my avatar for reference (ignoring the problems it has in other respects). It's kind of like she's bald and you've put an over-sized wig on her, then padded out the inside of the wig so it's shaped right, then put it over her skull only to find it now doesn't fit all the way over to her forehead, if that helps you visualise it. Drawing an outline of her skull, keeping it on a separate layer that you can remove later, as you draw the hair in should take care of issue. Really nice face, though. Very delicate work. The hair's pretty other than the misalignment, too.
  11. Hahaha. I am so not showing mine.
  12. I wouldn't expect Scholar to use anything much like the mechanics of FFXI. I suspect they'll look back at what it's been about through the series, which is to say a lesser version of the Sage job, and reinvent that concept with a fresh take.
  13. Don't forget, you could also participate by being up for auction.
  14. I don't think we need to protect anyone's feelings that much. That would be patronising. Besides, real gil or not, I really don't think it'd make a difference to how it feels. At all.
  15. Looking at it that way, an auction could be a great way for Free Companies to raise funds for their housing, which would help create and enhance some fantastic RP venues for the community. :moogle:
  16. I was making a joke about how bomb squads defuse things. So I guess you kind of just were the bomb squad.
  17. Ugh. Can we not get into an anti-Brony vs Brony thing? I think we'll all be better served if we just let people engage in their interests peacefully so long as they stay respectful and unobtrusive. Otherwise, the mods'll have to send in the bomb squad. :bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb:
  18. Seriously. Never be afraid to ask me for help. I might not wanna right then, but I'll always be flattered.
  19. Hey Myc! I'd have greeted you sooner, but the Welcome Desk is my lowest priority to check. Not that I'm not glad for new members, I'm just not good with greetings. Especially when I don't have anything to say other than a generic greeting. Thankfully there's always a great welcome wagon from the people who are good at that stuff! Anyway, I knew you'd be here sooner or later. I planted the seed in your mind months back when I posted a link to the site post-makeover on my Enjin wall. MWAHAHAAHAHAAAAA!
  20. See, that proves exactly my point! It's not 'drool chains are so sexy omgudontevenno' it's 'ooohhhh, dere sum sexy bizniz goin on hurr'.
  21. That's just because they launched a new expansion with a huge amount of new content and systems. It'll calm down soon.
  22. I'm really not sure how it ended up this way, but I'm playing Neverwinter and Star Trek Online. I dislike Star Trek and Forgotten Realms, and I have a few misgivings about Cryptic, but I honestly find these two games both highly entertaining.
  23. It's just one of those weird porn things that makes no sense but they do it because it's so over-the-top and excessive. I think very few people actually find it attractive, but it's a good shorthand for 'this is super porny'. That or they're snowballing?I guess Raubahn may be just out of shot.
