I am on at seemingly senseless times here on the east coast of the US. Kids are in bed and Mama should be sleeping? Too bad for her, she's an insomniac who does better with no sleep than she does with 2 hours. O_O Woke up at 5am because the toddler still doesn't sleep through the night? Can't do housework that early, might as well hop on and play! I've seen you on, tons of times, without that little red chair, lol. Maybe next time I'll actually say "Hi!" Although I very well may have and just don't remember it lol.

Alright. I'll work on something. My turnaround is rather sluggish because I'm a perfectionist and my own worst critic, but how about you don't pay me until I'm done and only if you're happy with it? Either way, it gives me practice, and gives me something to do other than growl angrily at a Sephiroth WIP that I got the eyes perfect on...and everything else refused to cooperate with me, lol.

A little backstory... I was a skinny kid...until about 7-8th grade, when I began to be bullied because I was smart, and 'ugly'. I turned to food for comfort and packed the pounds onto a frame that at a healthy weight, would still never fit below a size 8 jean. By the time I entered my senior year of high school, I was 250 lbs. A 2-year-long obsession with starving myself dropped me down to 125...and it looked skeletal on my 5'9 Irish/German frame. During each of my 3 pregnancies, the pounds came off and I looked great. Between kids? Put the weight back on. In November of 2013, I weighed 217 lbs, and I was finally diagnosed, after many years of struggle, with ADHD. Being on Adderall killed my appetite...and it was no longer "I'm stressed, I need to eat". It became "I am not getting the signals that I am hungry, so I need to plan what I eat." This led to a dietary overhaul. Out went processed foods and junk, in came more veggies, proteins, etc. 3 times a day. In between, out went the chips and donuts, in came the carrot sticks, the celery and peanut butter...the yogurt. This picture is from about a year ago, and I weighed 165 in this picture, in an outfit that I would not normally wear. Since then, 18 more pounds have come off, and I maintain my weight at a healthy 147. My next project? Toning. The second picture is me on a normal day. It too is about a year, year and a half old. My hair is about 6 inches longer and yes, that *is* my natural color.

Um, please feel free to remove this if I've posted this in the wrong area... So this is Fang. She's not from FFXIV, but the moment I could, she was my party leader and go-to gal in XIII...and I was REALLY mad that I couldn't play her as leader in Lightning Returns. I love Fang. Think what you will about the XIII trilogy, I love Fang. In a better game, she would have been a truly badass character. And yeah, I know she and Vanille are like super-close, but am I the only one who thought there was an underlying charge of romance there? Loads of crappy fanfiction says that I'm not, lol. There's really nothing I can add to this list that hasn't already been covered, but... I play on a console. I have a crappy Bluetooth keyboard that often times likes to ignore the fact that I've pressed a button, or likes to think I pressed more buttons than I did. I do my best to catch these errors (which can slow down reply time), but yes, I have had posts come out looking like I drank an entire bottle of rum and bashed my head repeatedly against a brick wall. However, I find that when I give a quick explanation of this to anyone I am rping with, I am readily forgiven and my minor mistakes are overlooked (thanks, guys and gals!! ). I like para-rp. I sometimes tend to be wordy myself. I try to keep it short and simple in the more populated areas, to show respect for the chat boxes, but in a private setting, I do get a little more verbose. My char is almost cripplingly shy and awkward...and I intended to keep her that way, but as of late, several successful dungeon runs have lent her an air of gentle confidence, and while I did not plan it, I love it all the same. People change and grow, and so can my character. Also, some of the better RP I have had has actually come from an OOC habit of mine...when the RP is slow or I don't feel like RPing at the moment, I run around OOC, and send people (guys and girls) a compliment on their char. My char has a good friend ICly now because I OOCly whispered to the other girl that her axe was badass. Our chars kept crossing paths, and now Yor has another friend.

A little off topic, but I always thought that if your chars couldn't or didn't want to find a private spot to ERP, why on earth would you just rp that out in public, when you could, oh, I dunno...form a party and use the party chat channel? Eorla's de-virginizing was a FTB thing, so please forgive me if I'm a little ignorant on some aspects of ERP...I don't mean to offend, I'm genuinely curious.

Eorla has many of my issues and baggage, but where I will swallow it until it eats me alive, Eorla accepts those flaws as a part of her. I've learned to 'cope' with my baggage, Eorla is learning to live with hers. We are both prone to fits of brooding moodiness, but again, we handle those things much differently. Eorla, in some aspects, is a manifestation of the way I wish I could live my life, or could have lived my life had life not happened as it did. Eorla, at the time of this particular post right meow, was only recently de-virginized by her soulmate. Yeah, the one that split after the disaster of a Haukke run. I don't know what it would have been like to willingly give up my v-card, no matter how much I might say that it doesn't count, truth is, it did count, and it's just something I'll never experience. Eorla's current foray into the darker elements is but a walk along where ocean meets sand, and it is a growth experience for her. She's going to question her morals, her beliefs, and almost everything she stands for, but she'll pull through it and be better for it...and maybe that's why I truly love her so much. She's not me. But she has had a few similar experiences, and we share a lot of common faults...she's not perfect, but she is far stronger than I ever was, and while she's no Mary Sue, I admire the evidence of strength and endurance in her life where there is but failure and sorrow in my own.[/align]

OP, this is a really good discussion, thanks for posting it up! That said... At the moment, I have 2 characters. One, Renata Lynn, over on the Jenova server, is my "experience the game" toon. She is the one I leveled, ground, and now am farming with. The other is, of course, Eorla Brynn. She is my "live the game, breathe the game" toon. She is the one I RP as. When I get tired of farming stones and the like, I hop off of Jenova and log onto Balmung. I've got Eorla as a lvl 30 cnj/whm, but I'm really not all that concerned with getting her through all the game content. I do that with Renata. If Jenova had a flourishing rp community, I might never have made Eorla on Balmung. But I find that I like having the two separate. I'm sorry, but I don't know that I'll ever permakill Eorla, except maybe at the end of it all when the community is fading (from what I've read, it happens to all MMOs, whether it takes years or decades), and then as a part of her saga. Should Jenova ever get a respectably-sized rp community, I might find myself developing a backstory for her...but Renata is already developed. She's beaten Ultima Weapon, she's started running through the Crystal Tower. She's already working on her relic quests...they aren't really a part of her story, if that makes sense. With Eorla, each dungeon she runs through is more than just a farm or a leveling grounds, it is part of her story. She investigated Fallgourd Float, she entered Haukke Manor with her beloved and left the place a woman on the brink of a change. Within days, her beloved left her, and Eorla began her own dance with the darkness. It affected her. And that is something I'm not sure I'll ever be ready to quit watching unfold.

Hmm, well, Eorla's rather...dense...no, no...dumb? No...hmm. Blind? Ignorant? Naive? Whatever...when it comes to flirtation. Which made her all the more surprised when she met Ezekiel. She wasn't looking for romance, she wasn't even thinking of it...and it just kind of happened. She couldn't be happier about it though. He told her she was beautiful and it made her choke on her ale...she cringed and mentally smacked herself and was rendered speechless rather than having a graceful reply. But Ezekiel found her awkwardness endearing, and it was actually her lack of an eloquent reaction that charmed him. So Eorla's happy and Ezekiel's happy, and both Ezekiel's player and I are tickled pink for them both.

*Scampers off to add rumors to people she's come across* (Looking at Flynt, Marisa, and Berrod) I doubt people have much to say about me yet though, lol.

You should both totally make it an IC thing if the opportunity presents itself, you two make one gorgeous couple, both IC and OOC! PS: Oktoberfest? Plus major cool points to both of you!
