I see a criminal organization starting to brew. I'm always down to be a middleman between the smugglers and the clients. Rin is mainly a fence for stolen good, but I'd love to get him with a few connections to share in the "questionable" activity he runs.

Look up Rin. He is always down for some awkward conversation and morally questionable situations. Just watch your purse.

Oooh, officials. Would he be one to stop illegal activities and potentially punish this certain offender? If so I would love for Rin's file to fall on his desk one day...Or you know, however they keep track of people in this universe.

Rin probably isn't her thing for romance, but he'd certainly keep her busy for an evening if she doesn't get annoyed to the point where she walks away. lol I'm trying to meet everyone I can for RP connections and he's meeting everyone he can for his own connections. If you ever find yourself bored look him up.

There are ways to...Obtain such items. Especially if they already know someone who has one...lol Artifacts aside, if you ever need anything look me up.

Rin is a sucker for a girl with a nice pair of legs. He prefers those of lighter skin tones, but too pale isn't preferred either. Though it comes from personality, he is intrigued by who show a high level of thinking, street smarts. This does, usually, affect the way they carry themselves and dress.

Rin could find help with her project. He can be good at "finding" *cough* art and old artifacts. She just won't be able to ask where they came from. : )

LOL, that does sound like it would be a lot of fun. I'll send you a message if I can catch you online. Refering to my character or yours? He's still very much in the fencing business. It is true he doesn't steal much anymore, unless it more challenging than valuable, but if you would like to do "business" I'll keep it in mind. Rin is still working on getting his claws into the criminal underworld to find a place for himself.

This thread seems to snowballing. I've only been on the server for a week and the site for two days so I don't really know much but...Damn.. Isn't everyone friends here? lol

People have always preferred their comfort zone; it's human nature. People tend to unintentionally fear or shun change, with the exceptional few who love change. Honestly both issues have plagued almost all the RP communities spread across MMOS. From WoW to Rift, from GW2 to SWTOR. People in general form their inner circles and Lore is rarely ever explained enough to be agreed upon. This is arguably for artistic freedom and interpretation or just laziness from the developers. It is nice to have -some- idea of how things are suppose to work without completely molding you into one path. Being creative is great and making your own story is the point of RP, but when several people write conflicting backgrounds it can cause issues and arguments. That is my opinion to why people get so upset. All in all, we have to remember why we are all here and what the other person's goal is as much as yours. I'm basically just babbling at this point, but from a newcomers PoV it's expected with a new community and is just like moving into a new neighborhood. Some people will bring pies, some will say hello, some will completely ignore you, but in time things settle down and you'll find a few connections. All people need sometimes is a little push..Or pull if you prefer But it's not just here, for anyone who ever played wow you'd find arguments from Deathknight pregnancy to how elves age. Though people should agree to disagree, sometimes accepting that some people won't is..Somewhat..Agreeing to disagree?

Hey Balmung, Looking for some fresh people to RP with. Haven't been on for long so I figured it might help to introduce myself. Rin is your basic Miqo'te who has his quirks, no spoilers. His line of work is roaming around Eorzea as a "reputable" salesman; in short he is a fence for questionable merchandise that thieves might need to cash in for a quick gil. I rather refrain from listing most of his qualities until IC interaction . He's cunning, carefree, and will hold a conversation about nothing with anyone. So if you are bored, looking to sell something, or looking for nice, high price things at a not so high price, look him up. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
