I'm sorry for my eccentricities. I know it may be a bit difficult with the way I act, and I believe that it may be affecting my relationships on the forum. I'm sorry for being so potentially difficult, guys.

Not Getting Early Access - What Are Your Plans?
Viola replied to Melodia's topic in FFXIV Discussion
Since I won't be playing the expansion until Saturday, I'm just gonna keep chugging at what I'm doing, in this case wait for the chance to become DRK ASAP. -
True. One problem I keep noting is that I keep thinking it's singleplayer, so I need to work on that. Either way, with that said, work is going to continue to make it more appropriate. -edit- Basically, I haven't legitimately roleplayed in about 10 or so years, and while that's not an excuse, I'll need to obviously work on this more.

But... your character wasn't the one who fought any of those? Vishap is the only one that's possible, because pretty much anybody could have been at the Steps of Faith, but the WoL was the one who killed Nael and battled Midgardsormr at the wreck of Agrias. While this is correct, the warrior of light didn't do these things solo. Either way, Memenu's been 'in-dev' for ages, and I'm still trying to set things in concrete, so to speak, however, it's not as easy as I had originally thought, but has not deterred me. -edit- That's the thing, Faye; her follower's body, acting as vessel isn't strong enough for the rigor's she's faced. (this also makes a convenient plotpoint for the use of a Fantasia.)

What's up, guys? As everyone knows, we're about to hit off Heavensward in five days, so it's time to bring it up now; I had an idea, and I'm not sure how to go about this. Basically, as I've gone around the forums, Memenu's physical vessel is dying. The reason being that because of fights against the likes of Nael, Vishnap and Midgardsormr (going by a lore/gameplay point here as Midgardsormr and Vishnap are extremely powerful in-universe, but their fights are a bit lacking in the difficulty department, and Nael is Nael.) has caused her to use more aether than her body can control. With being forced to head north into coerthas and into Ishgard, her body's at the point of falling apart and the only way to continue on is either allow her vessel to die (and her conciousness being thrown back into the aether) [or] find a new, more capable vessel. My idea is that due to a primal's tendencies for self-preservation, Memenu would go with the latter. The question is how could I implement this into her somehow obtaining a new body, specifically that of a Xaela?

Xaela Family/Clan: Tumet - Always open!
Viola replied to Michikyou's topic in Chronicled Connections
I actually have a particularly interesting story revolving around a Xaela and Memenu once heavensward is released. -
The good news is; you can still use paypal and donate up to $500 and as little as $28.

Memenu would question how the glass is see-through.

As of 10:48 PM EST it is with great gratitude that I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has hit $5.5 million, hitting every. Single. Goal.

Unlike normal Monks (let's face, Memenu isn't "normal" by any means), Memenu's chakra points have been open since being summoned as a side-effect of both her aether and her conciousness taking control of her follower's body. The problem with this amount of aether is that no matter how much the body is trained, it cannot contain it. It's too frail for the amount of aether needed to fight exceptionally powerful foes. I've been actually evolving this lately with tidbits around the forums about Memenu's current status, and no matter how "in-tune" her chakra is with her body's aether, the amount of aether already "under the hood" is far too much for the mortal flesh of a lalafell.

I can't even remember, it's been that long since I played PGL, lol. Chances are, greased lightning is both a mechanic and a way of the PGL/MNK getting "warmed up". There's lore. Hamon Holyfist actually refers to it by name in the PGL questline. Well, thanks for that. It's still basically a MNK/PGL getting warmed up tho'

Turn 9 is surprisingly easy when compared to the likes of turn 9. The only difficult parts being second golems and phase 3.

she dropped her arms to take a deep sigh. Annoyance, anger. Emotions she knew so well yet were so alien to her. The fight in the ninth turn of Bahamut's binding coil had almost crippled her vessel from the amount of aether she had to exert just to match Nael. She enjoyed the fight. That is, until she realised that it had taxed her body too greatly. she swung at the air in frustration. If there was to be a battle against Bahamut, she wasn't sure if her body could combat him without it dying in the process. Even if she had done her duty with killing the elder primal, her full goal would not be achieved; the group who summoned her was still under Garlean oppression, even though she had done her absolute best to save the group, the tiny primal failed in rescuing them; missing them by only a few hours. With another sigh, Memenu looked up into the blue sky. Are you giggling, Hydaelyn? she thought, crossing her arms. Enjoying the armies of 'adventurers' witchhunting me? It is your 'children' that summoned ME to your little world for succor. The lalafell scowled. This damnable world couldn't make up its mind. Yet, maybe that was why she actually liked it; each and every individual, despite their eccentricities made the awkward interactions interesting.

RP Idea: Is this too crazy? Feedback wanted!
Viola replied to LadyRochester's topic in RP Discussion
My thoughts on this are that while Memenu may try it, as a Primal who's vessel is failing her (one of the lalafell who summoned her used their body as a focus to make sure her conciousness had a place to go. Think a lightning bolt hitting a lightning rod. it cost her follower their soul though), it most likely wouldn't work. The amount of Aether that makes up Memenu's strength is far too dangerous for her current body to maintain, and with fights against foes like Nael, Vishnap and Midgarsormr, the amount of strength needed to match and even overpower them is taking its toll. Her body is physically starting to die from the amount of Aether needed. She's getting aches that weren't there before, she's getting noticeably slower. If she even ends up taking Bahamut, her physical vessel may most likely die or crippled. -
Second Coil Complete!

Since you asked, here's my opinion; Fallout 3 is without a doubt the easiest of the series. Especially with the amount of exploits available in it to get 10 in all of your SPECIAL stats. However, since Fallout 4 is going to take place in Boston, the closest we've been is the Pitt in one of Fallout 3's DLCs. With that said, I suggest New Vegas first and here is the reason; Once you get it patched (this is assuming you're playing the PC version), you can download a few mods (read; unofficial patches) that fix alot of the issues that still plague it. Most of these are minor, so there's that.

I'll show off a few. They're nothing special, but the first one is one of my favorites. If it's one thing I love about Ifrit's area, it's the amazing lighting on characters. With the Eclipse high above and fires around, it makes little Memenu much more imposing than she would otherwise. Look at her. Doesn't her face show tempered resolve? Another picture, another area. In this picture, I was going for a fierce look from Memenu. As you can obviously see it came out well. I love taking pictures of Memenu and without a doubt one of my single favorite characters I've created throughout the years of MMOs I've played. And this hilarious tidbit came from a Syrcus Tower run a fair bit back. Many giggles were had, and a lot of people loved it. I personally lost my shit from it, so with that said, I TELL YOU HWAT BOBBY.

Unsurprisingly, Memenu has a bit of an obsession with it.

Memenu rocked from left to right on the chair, nodding. Despite her brief existence on Eorzea, she had seen more and more oddities and peculiarities every day. While most of it still completely baffled her, she was mostly indifferent to it all. "Nice to meet you." she replied, sounding almost deep in thought. "There's different ways to cook fish?"
-
Personally, no, I've never roleplayed being kidnapped. I honestly don't think anyone would want to kidnap Memenu, either.

i did! i quite enjoy cheesecake!! do you have a preferred flavor? Chocolate, oreo, reese's and regular cheesecake. Which reminds me, I haven't had cheesecake in a while.

I know Siren has a decent sized RP community, it's not amazingly large, but it's there.

She searched for a nearby chair and quickly clambered onto and sat on it before stretching. "My name is Memenu." she replied, resting her hands on the table as soon as she was done stretching.
