I’m suddenly getting the itch to create a cleric of Halone. But not a ‘YOU HAVE SINNED TO THE WITCHDROP WITH YOU’ type but a more moderate guy. Cheerful, more inclined to demonstrate Halone’s mercy and whatnot. He’d be lower ranked of course because he would have been married, and he’d be more keen on ministering to the Brume and out in Coerthas than to the nobility of the Pillars. The Holy See just basically roll their eyes and write him off as a coot. Like a ‘merry monk’ sorta deal. More of 'actions speak far louder than words' guy. Also whenever he was put before a tribunal, it always ended with him getting off because he more or less instigates 8 to 10 hour debates on church doctrine and the Inquisitors were just going 'WE'RE TIRED AND WANT TO GO HOME WHY DID YOU BRING THIS LUNATIC TO WASTE OUR TIME' The one time he did a trial by combat he wiped the floor with his accuser. He also would be the type of priest that grieving family members would have gone to regarding last rites for their loved ones who did not get that honorable death by dragon, he would have performed the rituals for them. I'm actually really getting more ideas as I type this, this is so bad.. What do you all think? tiny mod note: moved over to character workshop because this is a character, not a general concept

Does anyone know if the Square Enix member-only artbook has different art from the 'A Realm Reborn-The Art of Eorzea' book? Because I'm looking at snatching the SE only one from Ebay, but at the same time I'm wanting to get a PS Vita (sadly with my budget, I have to get a refurbished one). Can anyone tell me if the art is different or if it isn't?

For Riven, it's Growth. She's spent much of her life in a self-imposed prison of her own making, and now situations are being put in her path where she either steps forward and out of her comfort zone, or stays where she is and watches the world pass by. For Reinhardt, it's Transition. Poor derpgoon has had quite a bit thrown at him over the past few months, not to mention he's taking his drachen trials at a very interesting time in Ishgard Is he young enough to adapt to the changing situation and stand up for what he believes in?

As far as we know, babies still have souls, even when they are very small. So, unlike lice or fleas, they have the added difficulty that when you travel the lifestream, their soul could be lost along the way, which would almost certainly lead to miscarriage. *holds up hand* This brings up another question. What if you have a woman who's been using the teleport and she's in the extremely, extremely early stages of pregnancy? As in say conception happened the night before...surely she's probably got what? A week's grace or two before problems could develop? I think there might be instances of new mothers using the lifestream portal and then finding out 'oh, pregnant!'

My WoW paladin used to be a midwife, and Warcraft had a slightly medieval-ish setting-so would my old research into medieval medical practices and the like still be valid for applying to this toon?

This just occurred to me, since I started to roleplay a healer who has had some midwife experience-how do you think pregnancy is handled in the realms? Like do you think pregnant women are permitted to use the aethercite, or do you think the nobles of Ishgard would frown on breastfeeding and only permit wet-nurses and the like, etc etc.
