Hiya lovely roleplayers, Usagi-hime here with yet another LF connections post.?? My little cross-dressing criminal Shiva Pasalo (shameless wiki plug is shameless) is in desperate need of some Kugane focused contacts. After getting kidnapped and nearly sold off to an Auri slave trader, the self-proclaimed Master of Disguise finds himself back in the heart of Hingashi's port city with not a gil to his name. Now injured and left with no means to contact close friends and loved ones, Shiva quickly finds shelter with a local resident and proceeds to do what he does best: don a brand new identity. Until she's able to lose her pursuers, Sakura Yukimura is a young Doman currently in search of work and a few friendly faces. Having gave up his Clan and the name given to him at birth after making his way to Eorzea at the age of sixteen, the young Xaela found solace under the roguish embrace of Jacke and his merry little band of misfits for a time before finally coming into his own. A natural of the cloak and dagger technique, it wasn't long before Shiva was dancing his blades with the best of the Edelweiss Sisters. But it soon became clear as the cycles passed that upholding the Code wasn't something Shiva wished to spend the rest of his life pursuing. And just as he arrived on the Rogue's front door amidst the cover of shadows, that was how he departed from that life as well. RP Hooks [align=left] Limsa Lominsa: As an ex-member of the Rogue's guild, Shiva tends to spend quite a lot of time around the port city-state as he's intimately familiar with most of the sea folk there and surrounding areas of La Noscea. If you happen to be acquainted with the Dutiful Sisters, are a fisherman/woman, or a member of the 'Cudas and/or Maelstrom then you've probably heard of the Diamond Dust Thief maybe once or twice before. Ul'dah: Always in search of new and exciting marks, what better place to go than the City of Gil? If you're living the high-life of the rich and glamorous then consider yourself a target. However, when he's not picking the coin-purse of every snooty noble or wealthy merchant in the Desert Jewel, Shiva is on the hunt for someone willing to train him in the basics of hand-to-hand combat. Gridania: Whenever the bounty on his head is too overbearing and Shiva needs a place to lie low and don a new identity for a moon or two, the Botanists' guild provides the perfect cover. And whenever he's not getting himself lost in the middle of the Shroud, you can easily find Shiva napping in the flower garden or harassing the chocobo keepers in Bentbranch Meadows. It Takes Two?: There's always a party if you add an extra body. Playing the solo game is great and all, but even master thieves get lonely too. Maybe you're also a lover of swiping the finer things in life under the noses of unsuspecting victims, looking for someone who shares the same interests. Are you the Diamond's partner-in-crime, or a back-stabbing ex who can't let the past stay stabbed and buried? Family Matters?: Are you a member of Shiva's Clan? Taught never to go against the status quo, Haines kept his head down and always did what was expected of him. Drafted into the empire’s army at the age of sixteen, he got by on that same philosophy for years, until he just couldn’t seem to fit his pieces into the puzzle any longer. Behind closed doors, Haines wasn’t a warrior sworn to fight for a cause he never truly believed in, her name was Hazel and she wanted to wear dresses that sparkled like the stars in the night sky and travel to fantastical places far from Garlemald’s tyranny. Then, one faithful day when ordered to join in on a routine scout around the outskirts of the Black Shroud, Haines found himself separated from his group and before he knew it, became lost within the maze of ever-changing forest. Days later he was found and taken in by a traveling herbalist by the name of Isabella who never asked for an explanation or gave any in return. Counting the next few moon cycles spent together with the woman he could sincerely call ‘friend’ as some of the happiest in his entire life, Haines slowly became a discarded cocoon from which Hazel was fully allowed to flourish and grow. Free to adorn a lance or skirt as they pleased, the ex-soldier could now live their life undefined.
