Ooo, I love the coloring.

I ended up skipping a lot of the cut-scenes. Therefore, I often end up skipping the story connected to them when I leveled. (And sometimes the dialogue...When I look at lore I also look at story, and I did that before I even got into the game.) The Pathfinders, when they joined me to help me at parts of the dungeons/trails required for MSQ progression, would tell me that it is okay to see the cut-scene. But with the trails and raids, there are others and those people that have already BEEN to the content- I don't like making people wait. Plus I can review the story at another point in time, I can review the lore at another point in time. So the jump potions? I can understand the use for them. I can also understand why people are against it. Do I like the idea? I think they are optional. No strong like or dislike from me here about these. I wouldn't feel like my time leveling is a waste...I certainly am not making alts to go through the MSQ again...

Ehfi while drunk...Hmm... Well..Could go a few ways. The problem is getting her to drink quick enough to really have it show. A lot of the time she either passes or drinks as slow as possible. She does get sleepy drunk. She also gets to be 'everything is awesome' drunk; which may get giggles out of her a lot. It just depends on how much and how much sleep she got.

Gotta say- I love your artwork~

If it is like the video- for Ehfi- a minimum show of being startled...if somehow manage to not step on something that would make noise...very light flinch and probably a stare in silence. If she heard ya- it is a blank face that is bordering on the look of confusion. (Depending on how I feel and if friends- a boop is in order.)

I haven't initiated walk-ups, yet. I haven’t finished fleshing Ehfi out as a character. I tend to work in the current of a character and then roll backwards to work on the background. Because of what I usually do that make solid characters, I haven’t really fleshed out Ehfi. Sooo I’m nervous about initiating walk-ups…plus I am still relatively new to FFXIV. I do know what would get my nerves to stop, but experience tells me that if I see a bleeding person walking- I hesitate. Why? Well, I’ve experienced the type of people who have their characters walk around wounded, asking for help but when help comes- attack the healer. (Which in turn, made a lot of my more caring characters apathetic. As well as become ‘healers with the bloodiest of hands’) All in all, I am just a bundle of nerves that would love walk-ups, and haven’t quite figured out how to set up the search information would be interesting? Because the character is not as fleshed out as I like and I do not wish to mess up.

Welcome! I say it is nice to see more people to come along here. I'm still newish to FFXIV but RP isn't something that I am new towards. Still building Ehfi but if you ever need RP- I'm willing more often than not. So you are welcome to throw a /tell at me if you are ever in game and search me to see if I am online.

Well, throw a tell me as Ehfi Rhinsu. I'm still new in this community, and having someone to be willing to RP with can help out overall. Welcome though! We are all new, before or now.

Welcome to Balmung! I can say I am glad that I came over to Balmung myself. Haven't done anything with tavern/large open gatherings RPs yet, save for some RP with Pathfinders, and the occasional (hopefully more cause Ehfi can never have enough friends. ) rp with one person. If you ever in need of RP or would like to interact with someone who'll heal (for basically free) and be a generally nice person send a /tell at Ehfi Rhinsu. Edit: /tell would just be either brainstorming or just checking to see if I am free to RP or not. (I love brainstorming. )

I can say that Ehfi had fun. Ultimately it was a learning experience for her to where she could apply improvement.

Feel like I should at least post this update. I've joined the free company Pathfinders . In the past, I have seen others become contacts for other guilds due to them being a healer in general. So hopefully that can maybe be done here in FFXIV? Ehfi hasn't quite settled down, so she'll still be out in the world either way- so contacts can be made individually as a whole. So overall, more contacts the better! Thank-you for taking the time to read my thread!

Hello and welcome to Balmung! I would still say I am still new and at the moment letting RP flesh my character out a little bit more. So if you see Ehfi Rhinsu running around, you can drop a hello and get a hello back- cause sometimes I don't notice people. (Gotten OOC /pets from my running around) Also, if you ever find yourself RPing with Pathfinders , Ehfi has taken a job being a healer there so either healing out in the field or healing in the infirmary.

Well, I put it into my post for the player directory that I am interested in an FC that is more RP oriented. I've been randomly invited to more social guilds, but I'd like to have a push to RP a bit more. I admit, I get worried I am interrupting anything or that the fact that I am so new to FFXIV that it turns people off. So I just keep going about my business to level. Because I got accustomed to the whole 'low levels are not taken seriously or outright ignored' thing from other MMOs. The bare bones of Ehfi Rhinsu would be that she's just a conjurer out in the world to study her skills and to lend aid to others, but I don't have additional concepts to really flesh Ehfi out. Joining one of the FCs would be able to help figure out at least another concept. Depending on the FC...I intend to have Ehfi be a character with good intentions. The sort that would perhaps follow that TV Trope of 'Good is Not Soft'. Other than interest in an FC, I am interested in hopefully making more connections than just what is in the FC...I am just hesitant because of past histories with cliques and unspoken (even if it might be unintentional) rule that low-level characters are ignored.

I more or less use the 'labels' for RP for a state of mind? I would use Heavy as open to World RP when available (and others are willing. Cause a lot of the time...People aren't prepared.) It also helps get me into the mindset of a character too if I am out there questing. Occasionally what opinions would be formed and such. Plus, sometimes you just can't walk everywhere. Sometimes there is a rush, be it true or made. Otherwise...I guess I should figure out if there is a way to classify the settings of RP in MMOs? I never got backlash with 'Heavy RP', but then I ended up just classifying myself as 'Adaptable RPer' in WoW.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I'm still relatively new to FFXIV but I do know that the forums are friendly. In-game, I'm kinda intimidated because everyone is already settled. I'll happily RP with you if you happen to be on Balmung or Siren. Ehfi is a conjurer who can help encourage a studious type to go out and explore. (She's exploring to help those she cross paths with and to help ease any stress she can pick up on from the Elements. And that is the bare bones of her motive to adventure.)
