Madda Posted November 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2015 JP Blog! Summary from redditor, IzumiRaito Vana'diel is reaching its final chapter on November 10th, "Star song of Vana'diel". For this occasion, we want to introduce the collab event "Strange tale of star song" starting November 11th. In this event, the character Iroha is coming to Eorzea. In FFXI, she cames from the future of destroyed Vana'diel in order to guide adventurers to resuce Vana'diel from unfortunate fate. This time Iroha is coming to Eorzea. What trials are waiting for her here? Rewards: Equipment Iroha is wearing. Don't hold your breath about the weapon. We most likely will only be getting the armor set. Link to comment
Kage Posted November 4, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 4, 2015 You Got XI in My XIV [XI x XIV Event] Collab event is for November 11! Greetings, everyone! Next week on November 10, FINAL FANTASY XI will usher in the epic conclusion to the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel scenario, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be holding a special FINAL FANTASY XI and FINAL FANTASY XIV collaboration event! Rhapsodies of Vana'diel is a three chapters-long scenario that contains appearances from all of the well-known main characters, and we're hoping that adventurers who are currently taking a break will Return Home to Vana'diel to see the magnificent ending. All of the details on Rhapsodies of Vana'diel can be found on the Goddess's Gala official site. The collaboration event, "A Journey to Remember," begins on November 11, and Eorzea will be visited by the main heroine of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, Iroha. Iroha has descended from the future where the world has been consumed, and she is on a mission to save Vana'diel from its current path to destruction - naturally, with the help of adventurers! Why and how does Iroha appear in Eorzea? Well, I'm not about to spoil the fun, so be sure to check out the collaboration event to find out! ■"A Journey to Remember" reward equipment Those who aid Iroha in Eorzea will be rewarded with the "Amatsu" equipment, which has been fashioned after her own armor! The equipment definitely has a very eastern feel to it, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the glamours that adventurers think up. We're on the final stretch to Patch 3.1 - are you ready? -Camate Link to comment

Kasumi Posted November 4, 2015 Share #7 Posted November 4, 2015 As someone that played FFXI for 12 years... I'm not ready for these feelings. How dare you. Also, the coat is pretty snazzy. Link to comment
Chris Ganale Posted November 4, 2015 Share #8 Posted November 4, 2015 That is extremely relevant to my interests. Link to comment
Dravus Posted November 5, 2015 Share #9 Posted November 5, 2015 I never got around to playing FFXI. I always meant to and I'll always regret not doing so back when it was in its prime. I really like the look of the armour. The headband, especially, will be perfect for Garlean characters to use as an efficient means to disguise their third 'eye'. Link to comment
Ozma Posted November 5, 2015 Share #10 Posted November 5, 2015 Was this in the new hairstyles? If so I don't remember seeing it....? Link to comment

Altitis Acquired Posted November 10, 2015 Share #12 Posted November 10, 2015 I hope the set will be dyable. ^^ Or rather, I hope the white part of the vest can be dyed black. It's most likely the red that will be dyable though, if it can be dyed. Link to comment

Gabineaux Posted November 11, 2015 Share #14 Posted November 11, 2015 I know nothing about XI except that I suck real bad at playing it without a controller, but people told me that it's even WORSE with a controller? Anyway I got to level five and quit. But the pretty waifu gives me her armor and it has a bow on it. I like this event, even if I don't have the nostalgiagasm everyone else is having. Link to comment
Altitis Acquired Posted November 11, 2015 Share #15 Posted November 11, 2015 Just as I was done with this event, another player said "There goes our SAM trainer". ... Would be an interesting twist if she stayed around and became just that. Link to comment

Aldotsk Posted January 1, 2016 Share #23 Posted January 1, 2016 It was kind of confirmed that this Chain Quest can be done as long as you are up on the very last one (Which is triggering the FATE yourself in Upper La Noscea) I was a bit ten hours delayed since the deadline time for my last alt, thinking that I couldn't finish the chain quest at all. But apparently someone told me that I can still finish it as long as I was on this part. Luckily, I did finish finish Link to comment
