Kage Posted February 24, 2015 Share #6 Posted February 24, 2015 Adventurers fight tirelessly in service of the realm, but all work and no play makes for weary travelers. Patch 2.51 offers all the chance to relax in the Manderville Gold Saucer, an exciting new attraction now open to the masses! And those more martially-minded may wish to tap the true potential of their Zodiac Weapons! Whether you seek the arms of legend, the thrills of chocobo racing and Triple Triad, or the light-hearted fun of mini-games and group events, there’s something for everyone in this latest update to Eorzea! Quests New side story quests have been added. - Saga of the Zodiac Weapons Quest Required Level and Location Rise and Shine Disciple of War or Magic level 50 North Shroud (X:29 Y:19) NPC: Jalzahn Players must first complete the quest "His Dark Materia." The Vital Title Disciple of War or Magic level 50 North Shroud (X:29 Y:19) NPC: Jalzahn Players must first complete the quest "Rise and Shine." Once your Zodiac weapon has been affixed with mahatma, you may increase its soul resonance level by equipping it and completing certain activities. Once you have achieved full soul resonance and your Zodiac weapon has sufficiently awakened, present it to Jalzahn, and you will be rewarded with a Zodiac weapon zeta of item level 135 that retains all the upgrades made to the original Zodiac weapon. A weapon’s soul resonance level will rise by a set value determined by the activity being undertaken. There may be times when a bonus is applied to the soul resonance value ordinarily granted. By sharing information with other players, you will be able to level up your Zodiac Weapon more efficiently. Resonance progress can be verified through the use of the Zodiac glass. After receiving your Zodiac weapon zeta, you will be able to alter its materia-enhanced parameters. Prepare a sphere scroll of the correct type to receive the power of your chosen Zodiac weapon, then use materia and alexandrite to redo the infusion process. * The materia-enhanced properties of a Zodiac weapon zeta will be transferred to a sphere scroll after being adjusted to item level 110 values. When returned to the Zodiac weapon zeta, these values will be re-adjusted to be item level 135. - Delivery Moogle Quest Required Level and Location A Qiqirn Always Pays His Debts Disciple of War or Magic level 50 Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:10 Y:11) NPC: Deputy Post Moogle Carrier level 20 The Hazy Professor Disciple of War or Magic level 50 Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:10 Y:11) NPC: Deputy Post Moogle Carrier level 20 New side quests have been added. - The Manderville Gold Saucer Quest Required Level and Location It Could Happen to You Level 15 Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X:9 Y:9) NPC: Well-Heeled Youth Players must first complete one of the following main scenario quests: "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul’dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy" World of Wonders Level 15 The Gold Saucer (X:5 Y:8) NPC: Airship Ticketer Players must first complete the quest "It Could Happen to You." Aldotsk Posted February 24, 2015 Share #14 Posted February 24, 2015 I Believe in the Sign Of Zetaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Thank you Yoshi P for being a Gundam fan. I don't have to buy a plane ticket to kill you for making another Zodiac quest. ... Or perhaps has he predicted that I was coming to Japan to kill him? Is that why he changed Mahatama into Zeta? Gegenji Posted February 24, 2015 Share #15 Posted February 24, 2015 I was surprisingly upset at the fact that Godbert is only a three-star Triple Triad card while his son is a five-star. ... I can only hope that his wife is one of the hidden six-star cards. Link to comment
Warren Castille Posted February 24, 2015 Share #16 Posted February 24, 2015 No seriously, they've been datmined, and the secret cards are All of the main FF protagonists starting with Warrior of Light in FF1 and ending at Lightning from FF13. Shantotto is the XI card. Link to comment

Warren Castille Posted February 24, 2015 Share #18 Posted February 24, 2015 Double-posting because reasons. This stage of Zodiac is the easiest. I don't have the specifics because I'm not in game yet but you will be affixing mahatma to your weapon. Each costs 200 soldiery, and gains lights like the Novus stage. However, they only require 40~ lights to finish. We'll have people completing them by lunch time today, and the glows look absolutely sick. http://imgur.com/a/Bbex1#Gw45Rxs Link to comment

Shantotto is the XI card. I suppose that makes sense. Still gonna pout about Godbert's low card ranking. Double-posting because reasons. This stage of Zodiac is the easiest. I just have to finish the Lights stage... then the dungeon atmas... and then I can do that. Bleh. I broke my unspoken promise to always be ONE stage behind in Zodiac progression each time it updated (ie, hit Lights when the last one came out, be on dungeon atma when this one dropped). Just... haven't really felt the need to grind Lights. I'm still three tiers away from finishing it too... Link to comment
Kage Posted February 24, 2015 Share #20 Posted February 24, 2015 Even if you play casually, if you have the Zodiac weapon and are heading into Zeta stage you'll be done in a week's worth of daily roulettes. edit: I suck at Triple Triad. Always did, especially cause I didn't get far in what very little I played of FFVIII. When will get Fenrir ; ; Link to comment

Aldotsk Posted February 24, 2015 Share #23 Posted February 24, 2015 Triple Triads is very tricky but yeah I remember I nearly threw my ps1 and PS3 trying to beat Queen of Cards with her stealing all of my cards that I put so much effort in collecting them. I haven't done any of new patches yet but chances are that it'll be hit or miss for me since it doesn't really have Blackjack or Poker Link to comment

Kage Posted February 24, 2015 Share #25 Posted February 24, 2015 Very happy to see Carbontwines become available with the weekly quest. This patch is "use relic to catch up" not a tomestone. It's sorta interesting because Soldiery tomes came out in the first unlock during ST. Link to comment
