Yes!! She sat on a bench! That was all I wanted to see *laughs*. I don't care if the draw distance is slow. It's still a beta, but even if the final game is still like this, it looks awesome. I for one will give it a try when it's released, if that ever happens. I'm also looking forward to Bless and KUF2.

I'd been wondering if FFXIV would ever get that kind of emotes, such as carrying someone, hugging someone, taking someone's hand, or even sharing a mount. I guessed it wasn't possible due to the different races and heights, so I'm surprised (and very excited) to know that they're actually considering it! I believe it has to be limited, though. I doubt lalafells can carry anyone, even less a Roe.

Gun class and Gold Saucer are making me very excited (>_<)!

White Mage here! I wonder if I could be added to the healers' backup list ^^?

Freedom. As much as K'mih had craved the Nunh's touch, she felt nothing but relief when it was gone. She could lower her head slightly again. She could wrap a protective arm around her stomach now, fingers digging nervously into her skin. It didn't hurt, not yet. Her father remained there, unsatisfied by her answers, going as far as to make promises that sounded like honey in the girl's ears. Her open eyes raised to him then, shining with something akin to blind hope. Would he be the only one who could understand? Would he understand the affection and respect she'd always felt? K'mih had always wanted to talk more to him, to get to know him. Now he was giving her one of those rare moments where he'd only look at her, her. And he, too, wanted to talk more to her, to get to know her. K'mih's expression softened above pink cheeks. A small, shy smile was drawn upon her lips as she lowered her gaze again. He wanted to talk, and so did she. Maybe just this time, before he'd go back to being the Nunh and she'd go back to being a child. "Father, I..." She started, her voice not raising more than what was necessary. And there was something different and subtle crawling inside her shyness, something else in her soft, slightly forced smile. "...have always wondered... if you had a favourite. Among your partners... or among your daughters..." Oh, she'd never be his favourite; that much she knew. She was too weak, too immature, too uninteresting. She'd never be his favourite, that was why... She'd always needed to know that no one else was.

Searching The Sagolii(Looking for the K tribe)
Clover replied to Xha'li Moui's topic in Town Square (IC)
K'rahto didn't get on the carriage when his elder sister did. He just stood in the back, taking a look at what was found inside. K'luha didn't look right. He didn't know what the hell had happened to her, or how K'ile had allowed such a thing to happen, but it didn't look right. The boy's frown deepened. A Tia would always be a Tia, right? K'ile wasn't much better than him. "K'zhumi!" K'rahto stretched his arm with the medical bag to her, eyes deadly serious. K'luha needed his sister's attention now, and this was everything he could do to help. Other than that, he'd have to wait and make sure that his sister and her patient were safe from the stranger, as if that miqo'te posed any real threat to the tribe's huntresses and even the Nunh himself. The Tia didn't trust him, of course not, but he very much doubted that the newcomer would stand a chance in this situation. Why did he even have to play the role of a bodyguard? He diverted his gaze to the angry Nunh, paying more attention to studying him than to the scene itself. With darkened eyes he observed his expression, his movements, even the menacing way his voice sounded. K'yohko was unmistakably the Nunh; if K'rahto wanted to take his place someday, he'd need to become like him. Simply beating him in combat wouldn't be enough, though that was already a feat. He had to become the impressive and respected being K'yohko was. With the same frozen expression, honey orbs moved sideways and stopped at the sigh of a certain huntress. K'nahli Yohko, the proud and arrogant archer who had rejected and treated him like an inferior being. She really was K'yohko's daughter. Had she been born male, she'd have been Nunh material with no effort. The mere thought didn't but deepen K'rahto's frown. === From her spot, K'mih's heart stopped at the mention of K'ailia's death. When...? How...? Her mind raced, and quickly remembered the linkpearl K'ailia had given her. If nothing was clarified, she'd have to call her dear sister to confirm her well being... -
Back to my PC, back to taking screenshots. Pilgrim is nice for cold weather.

Coil is supposed to be easy? ._. That'd be a change I'd personally welcome, as my attempt to beat T4 has been fruitless.

Springtime Masquerade Ball and Date Auction
Clover replied to Elisea Renyven's topic in Chronicled Events
The time is very nice! Since it'll be on Saturday, I might be able to attend this event *excited*. Thank you for organizing it, it sounds like a lot of fun. -
I'm not sure I like that system, unless armour isn't too stat dependent. As if farming a single set of good armour wasn't enough, will we have to farm for several sets just so that we can be well dressed at any area of the map? ; Game still looks very interesting and I'm definitely playing it, in any case.

Very nice video! Black Desert has very nice graphics and atmosphere. However, I don't find this landscape video and the city displayed any more or any less impressive than Bless Online. In fact, both games look very similar landscape wise. I just hope that cities will be truly alive. By that I mean I'd be happy just being able to sit on benches or chairs, and having nice spots like taverns or restaurants, FFXIV style. FFXIV's cities might not be very big, but they definitely are full of wonderful spots and details that make me able to enjoy them like no other MMORPG.

Searching The Sagolii(Looking for the K tribe)
Clover replied to Xha'li Moui's topic in Town Square (IC)
"O...oi! Zhumi!" K'rahto's frown deepened when his sister started moving so carelessly, ignoring him. Hadn't she heard K'iara? Didn't she see the tension as some of the huntresses pointed their weapons to the single, unarmed stranger...? ...Alright, perhaps there was no reason for them to simply wait behind, as if the outsider posed a terrible danger for all of them. K'luha needed medical care as soon as possible, after all. With a permanent annoyed expression, K'rahto followed his elder sister. "Don't just walk away without me, alright?" -
Searching The Sagolii(Looking for the K tribe)
Clover replied to Xha'li Moui's topic in Town Square (IC)
K'rahto's unfriendly gaze turned into a surprised one as the scene became heated. He wasn't sure of what was going on, but their Nunh seemed suddenly ready to bite their new guest's head off. Was he a threat for the tribe? If so, why did K'ile and K'luha allow him to come with them? In such confusing and alarming thoughts he was that he didn't even notice his two sisters' presence. A small gasp of surprise escaped his throat when one of them, K'iara, abruptly caught his attention with a sack of supplies. He grabbed it the best he could, before he could finally turn his questioning, half irritated gaze towards her. K'iara simply ordered him to watch their other sister K'zhumi; then, she took a defensive position with the other huntresses, leaving her siblings behind. K'rahto frowned. Of course his sister would give him such a task. He was just the useless Tia, after all. The boy only glanced at K'zhumi sideways, his expression back to his unfriendly self. Or in this case, his unfriendly, slightly humiliated, pride hurt self. ===== From her position, K'mih's closed hands moved near her mouth, shocked at how the scene had developed in a matter of seconds. She didn't join the other huntresses just yet, still confused. It wasn't like they needed help, for the guest was clearly outnumbered, and he didn't even have a weapon in his hands. -
The touch of K'yohko's fingers on her chin, a bit forceful as it was, sent shivers down K'mih's spine. He made her look at him, his sharp gaze like a knife on hers, and he got what he wanted. Or maybe more. The girl was effectively staring at him now, all open eyes, parted lips, and flushed cheeks. She was no longer a kid, but she was no adult either; she'd never been touched, not even by madness itself, and she didn't quite know what to do with herself when her father's proximity meant more than what it should. At a loss of words she was for long seconds. Being forced to stare into K'yohko's judgmental gaze only made the situation more difficult, and it was clear that he wasn't going to let her go until she confessed her little crime. With eyes gradually becoming moist, her voice could finally be heard like a weak, almost breaking sound. “K'nahli and K'ile scolded me... f-for something I said... so now I know I mustn't...” It hadn't been her intention to mention K'ile, but she wasn't thinking clearly. K'nahli would never betray her, of that much she was certain. K'ile, on the other hand, could be unforgiving, or such was the impression she had. “I... didn't want father to scold me as well. I won't say such a thing ever again..."

To K'mih, who hadn't been taught about desire but about duty, wearing an outfit that didn't deprive her from the soft breeze and the caress of the sun wasn't anything beyond comfortable. She was unaware of how other males could look at her, and as far as she knew, Tias didn't look at their tribe huntresses in any sort of non familiar way. Such were the rules, after all; to her, rules often meant the way the world simply worked. Oddly enough, she'd started feeling slightly more conscious about herself, now that she could sense K'yohko's unrelenting stare upon her. 'Why do you run from me?' The girl's eyes couldn't help her initial surprise -mixed with clear worry- at his question. So soon as bicoloured orbs glanced at the male, they quickly moved down with something akin guilt. “I-I didn't mean to run from you, father...” she tried, voice soft and melancholic. “I just... haven't been feeling too well lately.” Something had been very strange from the day she talked to K'nahli, and she was aware that it might have affected her behaviour. K'mih couldn't deny the obvious, could she? But she couldn't admit it either. Not fully. “Please forgive me.” So there she was, submissive as always, unable to look at her father's eyes for more than one reason. There was fear and guilt, yes, and there were all the words and all the questions she wouldn't say. And it didn't actually matter, for there was nothing she could do, or nothing she knew how to do. Obeying had always been an easy task; when had it become this suffocating? Why did it even happen?

Um, if the RP isn't able to make me feel anything, then I lose interest on it. Being completely unaffected is not fun in my opinion. It's like watching a movie you're indifferent to.

I've upgraded to Collector's Edition just for the Fat Chocobo (*_*) SE knows how to sell their game! I wish I could take screens, but the laptop I'm using this week isn't the best for that.
-
I'm sad that I'll be on a trip by then; I'd have liked to join the fun and take tons of screens (>_<) (I can't take good screens with my laptop). In any case, congratulations for getting the house!
-
Haha, if it's of any comfort, I've been after your Allagan tunic from ages ago. I believe you have it easier with Pilgrim ;w;
-
Haha, I wish I had been there to see the scene! Maybe the last screen for a while, since I'm going for a trip. I got the Pilgrim robe dropped and I'm in love with it >///< It must look especially good in Coerthas.

Searching The Sagolii(Looking for the K tribe)
Clover replied to Xha'li Moui's topic in Town Square (IC)
It wasn't the crowd of concerned miqo'tes that K'rahto had been carefully following, but the huntress K'nahli. Details like her position hidden from her sister K'mih's view didn't go unnoticed. In the end, that arrogant, unfriendly, and moody girl was very much like himself… From the distance, the Tia's eyes tried to finally focus on the ruckus, but there wasn't much he could see. He knew K'ile's carriage was back, and he could spot his sister hurrying up to a tent. Or to be precise, to K'zhumi's tent. 'What this time...?' He thought, frowning slightly, which just added to his ever serious and naturally unfriendly expression. Whenever people returned from any expedition, they were always wounded. For a Tia who'd barely left the comfort of his tribe from the day he was born, the outer world sure sounded like a harsh place. -
Any endgame parties adapted to different timezones?
Clover replied to Clover's topic in FFXIV Discussion
Ah, that's a very nice idea! Thank you very much for organizing this. Perhaps any of the people who replied to this thread might be interested? I'd like to do Garuda EX at least once, so that I can learn the fight and feel less insecure about joining random parties later on. Also, as a notice, I'm leaving this Saturday for a trip that will last a whole week. I might be able to (badly) play FFXIV in my laptop sometimes, but I won't have as much time for it as I have now, so... I won't be able to raid or do much from Saturday 12th to Monday 21st. I think I'll likely just log in to do my daily roulettes and cap my tomes, as I don't want to forget about those. -
It sounds like the event was wonderful, I wish I could have participated as well. I'm glad everyone had fun, in any case! From what I've seen in the screens that have been posted, I like the creativity in everyone's outfits, as I initially thought that all the females would just wear the Spring Dress.

Who else enjoyed this event? For some reason, I've ended up liking the egg hats a lot! And this is a very OOC thing I couldn't help (Andre player says it's IC, though *laughs*).

Hahaha, same. Also, I must say I LOVE photorealistic graphics. Good graphics and good characters are a must for me to have fun, otherwise, I don't even touch the game. Likewise, games that don't offer more than that become boring pretty fast, but at least they have still served for great RP since I was able to like the characters (Tera, I'm looking at you). I've been following Black Desert from the very first trailer that was released, since the setting and atmosphere was pretty much of my liking; I wasn't inspired by the lack of character customization, but that's changing now. However, I doubt I'm going to like it more than FFXIV because FFXIV has spoiled me good, and because Black Desert's classes are character/gender-locked, which lacks freedom. My guess is that Black Desert will be like Tera and Blade and Soul to me: I love the RP, I love the characters, yet the game is forgettable. I'm fine so long as I can play with that character creation, really *laughs*.
