FYI, I'm keeping a close eye on the connection issues. One rumor I heard was that the new server capacity would arrive early next week, which would mean we might not yet be in the clear on Sunday. If that is the case, we'll probably push back the first Happy Hour until the following Sunday. I'll keep you guys informed on that decision.

Same. I don't have D&D on the 31st, so I'd technically be able to make it then, my mother is moving so I will be helping with that all day and probably should stick around and be sociable while my niece is in town. So, whatever happens, will happen!

Just to add from my experience: It appears as though you cannot use this to add a PS3 account until you've registered the key through the Playstation Network. I believe that's only if you have the disk, though - if you download it, it's a little different, and I'm not entirely familiar with that process. For those of you who ordered the digital or digital deluxe versions from Amazon, you will NOT get an email like the one h3xd showed, but you will get an e-mail from Amazon telling you that your download is ready. Just go to "Your Games and Software Library" on your amazon acount and click the button that says "activation key". Then enter that in as h3xd described at step 4. (Note that I don't *think* you'll have to download the client from Amazon if you already have the P4 or EA client.)

Pretty much everything Ashren said. My personal opinion is that the dungeon group atmosphere is hurt far more by certain dps-meters than by the ability to be paired up to random strangers. I've had no lack of amazing runs so far using the duty finder in FFXIV and I've run a lot of dungeons - something I'd never have been able to do without the duty-finder. That said, I too, am all for something like this. Sometimes I want to meet new people in the duty finder, and sometimes I want to run with people I know.

Wow. I'm not going to lie, that really hurt. The problem here is NOT that we aren't compassionate, it's that there's nothing we can do. And for me, I'm pulling away from a lot of the community at the moment because there's so much negativity going around. I know people are frustrated and disappointed and anxious - I get that. I really do. I've had my own share of bumps though I understand that I've been luckier than most. But for everyone's problems, there's NOTHING I CAN DO but try to stay positive and encourage people to look on the bright side. I'm not one of those people who feeds on negativity so I try to feed on positivity. If that means that I am disregarding other people's problems, then I'm sorry.

Hello, fellow RPCers! I am in need of your help! I want to put together a comprehensive spreadsheet listing all the recipes in the game, what the ingredients are and where you get those ingredients. I feel like it would help a great deal to be able to see at a glance where to get a recipe's ingredients or to see what recipes an ingredient is used in so you know where to sell it. And of course that spreadsheet will be available for all to use (ask anyone who used my FTB Bee-keeping spreadsheet - they'll tell you I'm a little crazy about them, but they always turn out cool!) But I'm a silly non-legacy player so I do not have all of the professions or any of them leveled to 50. So I need your help. What I need to start is a list of every recipe and its ingredients. I figure if each person takes one small piece, we'll knock it out in no time. You can get me this info in one of two ways. Either you can screen shot each recipe in your chunk, or you can write down the info and post it here. I'm not picky! And, so it makes it easy for you to pick a chunk and fill out out right quick, here's a list of what I need:

Oooh... So from the sound of the event it's sort of a merchant-y theme, but from the LS link, it's kind of an everything-theme. Is it just Sterne who is merchant-y? I ask because House Marchand is a Gridania-based merchant LS that is always looking to make connections with other merchants.

Adriel and Brom even have a piece they are willing to perform - just one, mind you. >.> But I can probably provide some food... if I haven't stuffed it all into the Wildsky Bank that is! Adriel's specialty is fishing, though I'm not sure how that plays out ICly. Can you imagine Adriel sitting around with a fishing pole and a straw hat?! Anyway, yeah, we'll be there!

A board of jobs... what a brilliant idea! But how will we present it? We could probably make use of the Lantern and have people in the community help come up with jobs. Maybe. Hmm.... I wish we could create a physical board and write on it... but maybe we can use the wiki? Or maybe the 'board' is really just a ledger or book and the one who has access to it is the Event Manager who then hands out the events. That's probably best.
