Humble Origin Bundle - Charity Drive
Fiona Swift replied to Mtoto Wamoto's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
At first I was like because EA don't need mai money... but then I saw EA is refusing to take any money at all from this + allows STEAM versions of most.. So I was like  and told my friends about it, one already having bought the bundle. I own everything already in the bundle but I really hope this bundle raises some good money for charity. -
 How come I don't see anything about Flying Mounts? . . . 8-) *walks away slowly* I'm joking of course; though the patch notes seem more like a synopsis of the game features at the moment rather than fixes/bugs. Still very sad to see they kept the lv 20 cap in place. They really are worried people are going to use the 3 day "free trial" to blow through all the content and just not pay for the game it seems.

well gigabit is overkill.. I mean people have Gigabite network cards in their PC's now.. 10/100/1000 Show me a connection at a "home" level that is over 100 Mbps... maybe overseas in Japan but I don't know any local connect here in the United States over that speed; unless you're tapping into business lines or just not afraid to pay some serious cash. -

hardwired is always preferred in my book and how I have my PC and PS3 setup (wired). It provides the most stable connection and allowing maximum bandwidth; plus will not be subject to interference. However if you wish to have mobility (like a laptop) or the location of your router is in another room from your PC-setup wireless is fine as long as you can maintain a decent signal. A lot of times people who cry about their wireless router dropping all the time is because it is suffering from interference like a 2.4GHz wireless router is in the same room or vicinity of a 2.4GHz cordless phone .. get DTECH cordless phones.. they wont' interfere with wireless routers. edit Yes they can.. it is why I stay away from D-Link especially; Optimum Online has a habit of dropping on them or at least they "used to" -

Stick with a Cat5 or Cat5e cable for your home. Cheaper and you won't notice anything different than a Cat6 unless you have some seriously high speeds or need to route the cable longer than around 75 ft As for a wireless route; I used to use linksys as they had VERY HIGH quality routers back in ye olde days of 2000-2004 but I've lost a lot of faith in them the past few years. I refuse to use a D-link as they well... they stink from my experience. Belkin is super over priced. I had a Netgear but that broke almost immediately out of the box. The replacement had random firmware on it which I had to flash.. that failed after 14 months and constantly dropped signal like the first one which failed. I've settled on the brand "TrendNet" I've found their firmware to be very easy to update.. plus be rock solid. No drops...and after nearly 2 years i've only had to reset the router once (due to a sudden power flicker which knocked out the router but not the cable modem). http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-300Mbps-Wireless-Router-TEW-731BR/dp/B0062KA4VM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376442307&sr=8-1&keywords=trendnet+wireless+router+n A Trendnet TEW-731BR btw ignore some of those amazon reviews... as someone who was a top 300 reviewer for Amazon some people seriously have NO CLUE what they are doing or what they are talking about. Funny thing is at Newegg a ton of people complain about slow speeds after a few days of constant use... odd.. they said the same thing about my Trendnet wired router.. uptime so far w/o reset.. 76 days since last reset and i'm still getting 18.8 Mbps by 4.6 Mbps (20/5 is my ideal speeds) Do keep in mind this is a "cheap" 300 Mbit/s N wireless router .. http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-E1200-Linksys-Wireless-N300-Router/dp/B004T9RR6I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376442634&sr=8-1&keywords=linksys+wireless+n+router another decent N class router this one by Linksys; a tad pricey for what you get though. I am not a network specialist though.. I majored in Telecommunications (Cell phones specifically) where as my roommate and best friend did Computer Engineering and Wireless signal transmissions so he's the networking guru. Edit hehe.. just looked at my review page. x.x shocked after over a year of inactivity i'm nearly in the top 1000 still + have a 90% helpful rating . *stumbles across duke nukem forever review and Dungeon Siege 3* ....... I was way to nice with those reviews..... I'd post my profile but then you'd all know my full name! :geek: -
yeah there was a huge thread about it on the forums that they have a 20GB buffer.. and that it is only 10-12GB but if you think about it we only had a handful of content (lv 1-30 areas) and just a few dungeons and the client was 6 GB We now have lv 30-50 content + more dungeons and textured maps + the voice over work in English and Japanese (and possibly other languages if all clients get the same options) Ideal it might be around 10-14 GB but I'm banking on it being larger. I mean the GW2 install was 14.4 - 14.6 GB on launch day SW: ToR was around 18 GB

for my character, if it is even possible ... The pendant that she got as a gift when she was 16. The problem is.... where to find a pendant in the game I can keep within my inventory! :?

Phase 3 client was deactivated last week. A lot of people on the forums are posting that version check issue as a bug but in fact the phase 3 client was supposed to be uninstalled after phase 3 . It just took about 2 weeks for the "unable to complete version check" issue to show up There is a link on the beta forums which takes you back to the test client thread where phase 3 is now replaced by phase 4. This will download the launcher for the official game . Once installed it will update your launcher (version check it as well) and if all goes well you should end up as a much better looking launcher splash screen which says the page is in maintenance mode. Supposedly on August 15th we can start downloading the client (17 - 20 GB in size) and on the 16th anyone who has signed up already can play. the 17th is open registration. edit: oops.. that's what I get for posting at nearly 1am in the morning... I put April instead of August...

oh my god! I go to work and come back to see talk of Macadamia nuts and chocolate .. and white chocolate. I want cookies now
-
My favorite is when you read the back of a box for the ingredients you see stuff like Sugar, Modified Corn Syrup, Chocolate (milk, butter, sugar etc etc), Wheat Flour, Molasses, *insert 10 chemical ingredients* I don't know how many times they could of listed sugar
-
This Jared.... he didn't eat cookies. :bouncy: hint: He didn't lose weight cuz he ate Subway. He exercised and dramatically cut his caloric intake ... he just happen to always eat a subway sandwich for lunch (or something like that) so Subway used him as like "look how healthy subway is for you"
-
I'm sure it is. When it comes to chains like that there is often a huge discrepancy in quality since you are only as good as your employees and Management staff. By the way, whatever happen to Jared? I never see him on TV anymore

my gripe with them is the quality of the cold cuts used + how they are storing them during the day. The two subways where I live make some of the worst coldcut subs in the area. The Turkey and Ham are always slimy by the mid-afternoon and the cheese oddly isn't that cold which leads me to believe they are not refrigerating the stuff properly. My friend has similar issues out in Oklahoma and never orders cold subs from her place.. only hot subs. It is like Mcdonalds, yeah you got a hot hamburger but who knows what is in that burger Just like those "all white meat chicken nuggets" were "20% white meat 80% Pink goo" until they got busted. was still "all white" meat... but they never told you the % of meat. Just like some "juices" are actually just 10% juice and 90% sugar and random concentrates I hope they say no. Then you can complain they are failing at customer service and refusing to serve you! Then again it would be even funnier if they are out of cookies today.
-
I avoid subway . I find the food very low quality and while those cookies are probably really good I'm sure they are just bought in by a bakery / vendor like most retailers get. Even where I work we get our cookies in from a vendor (frozen pre sliced cookie dough) but we bake them store side so they are still fresh baked. I'm pretty sure Subway doesn't have an oven to bake cookies ^^ Just like Pizza Hut doesn't have a pizza oven.. they got a conveyor belt going through a giant toaster oven. Anyhow! They probably wouldn't care less since a sale is a sale. $ is $. Do it! Buy all their cookies for the day!

my job is actually variable schedule. Basically I don't have a normal 9-5 style schedule but instead every week it changes as does my days off. I might have Thurs and Sat off one week then Mon Friday the next. I might work 8 - 5 on mon then 4 - 11 on tues then off wed then 6-11 thurs then come back for a 7am to 3:30 shift friday. This makes my schedule crazy since I can't exactly plan on being around on a regular basis for things like raids... but I never was much of a Raider. Outside of work and the occasional Real-Life junk that comes up I try to use my spare time to relax which often ends up being music, or gaming or sometimes meeting up with friends

Very adorable character! The wiki isn't bad as well and a great start. Dont' feel as if you have to fill the page up now or come up with everything in a single day. As youngwoon suggested, try thinking back and create a bit of a past history to explain why she is who she is, or perhaps why she has a certain set of goals in mind. Just remember to have fun though!

Welcome to the RPC. Don't be shy, feel free to ask any questions. Good choice of MMORPG to start with as a first. The first step can always be a bit confusing but once you get the mechanics down you're going to have a blast! :bouncy:

32 here.. will be 33 in November. I started to RP back in the days of AOL 2.0 when I was 16 and bounced between Forum and IM/Chat RP. I got a degree in Electrical Engineering but I actually work in Retail instead since it fits my personality better. Was an evening manager but got laid off due to the company going bankrupt... now I work Customer Service for another company and do my best to make customers and employees happy  Been Rp'ing in video games for about 6 years on and off... mostly in LoTRO and I did a little in Tabula Rasa (more for comedy effect). Mix in some creative writing and also writing product reviews on Amazon for over a year I kind of ended up with a self taught style of RP . Not the best when it comes to punctuation so I just use my own style, which can sometimes drive my friends nuts; Plus it sometimes creeps them out that I RP anthro(furry) characters, as well as have no problem playing Female or Male characters. :bouncy: Anyhow I'm the bouncy happy friendly person who is going to always try and make conversation OOC and cheer everyone up the best way I can.

A new Dev Blog about the Unicorn Mount is up

I preordered from Amazon, I always get the codes early . Checked out the beta forums and it seems a lot of people who ordered from Gamestop have been having some issues getting keys. Most people just were never given the key and had to go back to the store to ask for one w/ some of the gamestop employees not even aware there was an early access pre-order key. training at it's finest.

There's your problem ; assuming your video card is not in "power saving mode" like some Nvidia mobile GPU's are... you have integrated graphics. While IG's have come a long way and can now play some top tier graphics games they still lack bandwidth and speed which is why your score would be so low. Kinda like how my 7770 scores around 5000 at Max.. but if I bought a 7850 I'd score almost 60% higher just because the Graphical Memory on the card is over 120% more efficient The game will def. be playable but you might have to tone down the graphics settings to something like Standard
