Life is change, and change is life. A truth inescapable when a frozen, cold, dead place, still and unmoving for ages... suddenly draws breath... and exhales. A torrent, a heat, a blaze, consuming and destructive and impossibly alive. Those caught in the wake of this breath are tempered and tested, some empowered, others blasted aside. Inevitable is this storm of life, spurred and driven by ambition and the desperate -need- for change. But what will be left once it has passed? Will life blaze brightly as never before, or be snuffed out for all time..? Act V: Falling Star, Rising Sun Scene I: Dawn of Reckoning Rumors and Story Aspects /End of the Golden(tail) Age/ - Infamous recluse Monetarist Moiraine Astervane (AKA Goldentail) has returned to Ul'dah to face lawful prosecution for the strange happenings, said to be void-related, surrounding her manor and affairs. The vultures close in, but you know what they say about a wounded and cornered beast... /A City Lit By Flames/ - With a major faction of the Brass Blades taking a major hit, and the leadership of the Golden Horde seeming unfocused without an enemy to fight, the power vacuum in Ul'dah has been filled by the Immortal Flames. Naturally, where power goes, corruption follows... /Falling Stars, Rising in the West/ - A tribe of miqo'te from the arctic seems to have not only found their way to La Noscea, but engaged in some form of protracted tribal warfare with the kobolds in and around the U'ghamoro Mines. Working in concert with a growing faction of arcanists, numerous crippling blows have been dealt to the beastman tribe, to general acclaim by all the good (non-beastmen) folks of La Noscea. /A Curious Exodus/ - Warriors from the savage Falling Stars sept have been piqued with a curiosity for the outside world. By land, sea and air, more of them are leaving their home - and traditional, xenophobic mindset - behind in favor of seeing this Outside World that both the Nunh and some of their spear-sisters have been making such a big deal about. a) The Stars-Crossed Lovers: Battle on the Beach! (Friday, October 27th, 2017, 9 pm CST) A'lera Treon and Nexxa Tristelle were half the members of an ill-fated expedition into the Cold Lands over a moon ago; the ill fate was not known at the time, for they returned, mostly none the worse for wear. Only later was it found that their freedom and very agency had been taken from them, usurped by a dangerous Allagan tool in the hands of the leader of the Fallen. Now has come the time to free them from an influence which the relic prevents them from even recognizing consciously.. but will the Falling Stars release their grip so easily? "Living in Mists now, so no one will notice a few explosions, or whatever else goes down... and at the same time if X'zarann shows up, he won't be able to bring an army, so, this is as good a chance as we can hope for. It may be too much to hope that a setting as idyllic as the beach will deter hostilities, but we shall see. I just worry that if we push them too hard, they'll switch out like a linkpearl, leaving only violent slaves of the Falling Stars." 1. A'lera Treon 2. Nexxa Tristelle 3. Reis Okeya 4. Orrin Halgren (5. Anstarra Silverain) b) Rage Beneath the Earth (Sunday, October 29th, 2017, 5 pm CST FLEXIBLE) Artoria Aldsan, the third member of the expedition into the Cold Lands to be captured and controlled, has found her way to the west in order to continue her life. Now though, stories circulate that she is getting involved with the war against the kobolds... the dark knight is no stranger to conflict, but there? And in a time when the Falling Stars are said to be waging a guerilla war against the same beastmen? Anstarra believes she is being used in their war, and that the time has come to free her. "We've had to move so slowly because we know X'zarann has to expect it, but this is too much. Artoria isn't meant to be controlled.. there's a beast inside her that's bound to snap its chains. We need to set her free. X'ogun himself might be about, though I don't know if that would be lucky or unlucky.. I wouldn't mind an opportunity to stab him in the face. But Artoria must come first." 1. Artoria Aldsan 2. Naoh'a Aznable 3. Khira Lhizahla 4. Jana Ridah (5. Anstarra Silverain) c) Trials of the Bright (Saturday, November 4th, 2017, 7 pm CST FLEXIBLE) The Bright Ones. Former Clip-Tails - former warriors of the Falling Stars who were mutilated for failure and made into slaves of the sept, liberated from bondage and led toward a brighter future by benevolent Adventurers. Forced by the Nunh's unnatural wrath to flee Ul'dah, they evaded Goldentail's press-gang force of Blades near the Burning Wall with the help of yet more goodly Adventurers. On to the Black Shroud they pressed, and then further north, through Coerthas unto the borderlands of Dravania itself, seeking a place far enough from their oppressors to be free once and for all. Now, though, they've finished running. "X'vann and X'orri... from what they were before, to this. Leaders of the Bright Ones; Vann of the Leaf, pugilist and scholar, and Orri the Redeemed, protector and steward. They've led the others, near two-score of them reunited once more, equipped with the skills they learned from every discipline of the hand, land and war.. to the realm of dragons. With a plan to go higher yet, though not in flight... or, hah, perhaps exactly that. For they mean to help face their former Nunh in Azys Lla when the time comes, and to get there, you need wings..." 1. X'imba Tia 2. Nihka Mioni 3. Seito Moonclaw 4. Virara Wakuwa Reserve List 1. Zaphir Zurlac 2. HOUSE RULE: For Starsfall, players are allowed to, if they wish, purchase a Stunt (like any other stunt, this is not a bonus stunt, simply a bonus rule for Starsfall) that works in the following manner: +1 to a single skill, with a single, simple condition, otherwise always active. The cap to which a skill may be brought with this sort of Stunt is 5. NOTE: This Stunt is not available to characters who already have a natural +5 in a skill. EXAMPLE: Gain +1 to Fight as long as you are fighting with fist weapons. This may not bring your Fight higher than 5. -

END OF ACT IV: A STARLIT NUNH A lot of things happened during this act! A synopsis... PREVIOUSLY: The Falling Stars Sept is a reclusive hidden nation of murderous, xenophobic savages. They have remained unknown to the other people of Eorzea for aeons.. until now. Their leader, X'zarann Silverfall Nunh, has led them out into the world. First there was a wake of carnage, as a secluded settlement was destroyed. Then, open conflict with the Immortal Flames, and Adventurers, and Monetarist interests seeking to use or exploit them; both for their inherent strength, and for the aetherial anomaly that makes it so that their Nunh is a focus of their worship, and is slowly acquiring true Godhood.. or at least Primalhood. At first there was much talk of simply wiping them out, but as some of the savages become civilized (or even sympathetic) and others show more interest in open relations and trade, things become less clear-cut and simple. What will the future hold for the Sept... and the rest of Eorzea? IN THIS ACT: A new power player has been introduced: X'ogun Tia, Fallen, chief advisor to X'zarann Nunh. After the Nunh and his apparent nemesis, mysterious monetarist mastermind Moiraine Astervane (AKA Goldentail) vanished in a teleportation mishap, X'ogun has continued his works. His first appearance was in Allagan ruins, whereby he revealed that X'zarann's goal was to become a God through the use of an Allagan communication array that would order everyone in the world to worship him for just a moment.. thus apparently infusing him with Godhood, or something like it, due to the aetherially-mutable nature of the Falling Stars. This information he traded for knowledge on where to find Azys Lla, where the plan might be carried out... X'ogun also apparently possesses a relic first used by X'zarann, which has the power to control the minds of those whom it is used to inscribe certain markings upon. This Spear of Fate was once part of an Allagan telepathic communication array, and likely served as the inspiration for the Godhood plan... several heroes were afflicted by this device, and a number of common soldiers as well; the full range of its impact has yet to be determined. X'ogun was last known to be waging a guerilla war against the Kobolds in La Noscea via subterranean aetheryte invasion, possibly in order to capture large numbers of the beastmen and bolster his ranks with slaves. But to what end? Some suspect a coup against X'zarann. Could they be right? Certainly, it seems the Chief Advisor plays his own game... X'zarann himself, meanwhile, was found. Through a gate in the dungeon-like basement of Goldentail's fortress/manse compound which led to a tropical island paradise where the Nunh has apparently been simply enjoying a vacation. But his ease was only a cover; in part he was engaged in capturing Goldentail herself (who was also stuck on the island). Additionally, his agents had been reporting to him by means which remained mysterious.. until the Nunh revealed that not only was he sharing his body with a powerful and unique voidsent named Starlight (or The Reflected Light of the Falling Stars) but that he is able to bolster his Primal-like power with her aether in order to open Voidgates for rapid travel... and, as witnessed by several, to Temper. As Goldentail discovered to her sorrow. The threat of the Nunh on a personal level reaches a new height, yet he seems unconcerned about people knowing, even allowing Adventurer witnesses to leave the island by Voidgates he opened himself. Hubris? Or some deeper plan? He did capture and slay (or worse) the Flame Captain who had directed most of the campaign against the Falling Stars in the past... what will his next move be? And what use will he have for the almost-lost but never-forgotten Wyrmtear, relic of draconic sorrow and might, which now assuredly lies once more in his possession..? Finally, in the cold lands of the Falling Stars, some few Adventurers heard, read or felt a summons from the enigmatic Whiteseer. Born of the Falling Stars, a Padjal as no miqo'te has ever been, and a masterful White Mage despite the Falling Stars being incapable of magic, she needed their help to lay the ghost of the former Nunh to rest. Once this dire task accomplished, she explained how the task of the Whiteseer, of whom there is only ever one, has ever been to keep the Falling Stars corralled and cloistered in their corner of the world, for their protection and everyone else's. A task which she has now failed at, due to her own love for her own children, one of whom wished only to get away.. and was allowed, by her, when she should have been stopped. And so the other, now the Nunh, was driven by his own obsessions and curiosity to follow his sister out into the greater world. Seeing the destruction of her own people in her son's ambitions, she reaches out to Adventurers, in hopes of helping them find a way to stop him before it's too late. She has demonstrated vast healing power, and the ability to see her son through divination windows formed of ice... a great ally, though now a new question arises. Namely, how long until X'zarann learns of her direct involvement, and moves to place her in check... And so we move forward, to the final Act of Starsfall. Savagery and slavery. Allagans and voidsent. Dragons and abominations. Faith and sorrow, love and hate... and ambition. Ambition, most of all. From the frozen depths of the Crucible, to the otherworldly sky-borne peaks of the Fated Array. Stay tuned for Starsfall, Act V: Falling Star, Rising Sun! MILESTONE REWARDS Everyone likes character progression, right? Sometimes it's through self-realization, sometimes through a small, key role. Sometimes through massive and direct involvement.. and sometimes it's simply by enduring, stepping out of our comfort zone, and soldiering on. Win or lose, we learn much, and this broadens our scope in small-yet significant ways. And so without further ado, the players below receive a SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE. As a reminder: A Significant Milestone (or Sig, for shorthand) grants the following: Improve one of your skills by a +1, up to the maximum of +4. REMEMBER you cannot have more skills at a higher level than lower ones (though you can have equal amounts). This is the Skill Pyramid. Place any Severe Consequences that haven't yet been healed in recovery. IN ADDITION a Sig also grants the effects of a Minor Milestone, which is to say ONE of the following: Rewrite any one Aspect (except your High-Concept). Swap the position of two of your skills on your skill list. Replace a +1 skill with a skill you don't have on your list. Rewrite one of your Stunts or replace one of your Style Stunts with another from the list. Buy a new Stunt at the cost of a permanent Fate Point (to a minimum of 1 remaining Fate Point, only one purchase per Minor). And now the list! Please let me know if I've forgotten you. When stars fall to earth, the impact resonates across the world. The fires of change roar across the land, changing lives, and ending them... Act IV: Starlit Noon Scene III: Impacts Rumors and Story Aspects /End of the Golden(tail) Age/ - Following an eruption of Voidsent and a pitched battle at reclusive Monetarist Moiraine Astervane (aka Goldentail)'s manor, she is in deep trouble with the Ossuary; combined with previously-started legal mutterings, as driven by rivals, many a rat has begun to desert this sinking ship. By land, sea and air, more of them are leaving their home - and traditional, xenophobic mindset - behind in favor of seeing this Outside World that both the Nunh and some of their spear-sisters have been making such a big deal about. a) The Dangers of Knowing Too Much (Friday, September 1st, 2017, 9 pm CST) Sergeant Donovan, man-at-arms of House Fortemps, is to be questioned for his involvement in the apparent kidnapping and corruption of other armsmen. Inquisitor Brigie suspects that his handlers might try to keep him quiet, most especially the enigmatic and dangerous Lord Chagrin, an apparently rogue Dragoon of Ishgard. She requests the presence of Adventurers to ensure the sergeant's safety, and possibly healers, given the damage the man previously sustained to his mind. "The Inquisition has a... difficult... reputation, but in this instance, it seems like there really is a threat to Ishgard. Or at least some of its people. Kidnappings, rogue dragoons... brainwashing? Mind control maybe even? No, this is no good." 1. Artoria Aldsan 2. Enju Abbagliato 3. Reis Okeya 4. b) Better Red Than Dead (Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, 9 pm CST) Sarah Whyte, now-retired Lieutenant of the Brass Blades of the Aster, stationed at Camp Nowhere, has posted a leve. 'My last command was slaughtered out in the desert, the deep south of Thanalan. Thirty soldiers and three priests of Nald'Thal and two of us got out alive. I'm not a Blade anymore but I want closure. It was some sort of monster, a killer with red hair that moved like lightning and cut armored men in half faster than you can blink. It needs to be tracked, and stopped.' "I have a bad feeling. If it's who I think it is, she's either off killing for X'zarann.. or just killing for fun. Either way, I agree with the ex-Blade, she needs to be stopped." 1. Jana Ridah 2. Virara Wakuwa 3. Nihka Mioni 4. Khira Lhizahla c) Trouble in Paradise (Sunday, September 10th, 2017, 6 pm CST) The news that an open (if currently one-way) portal in a ransacked mansion-fortress in the heart of Ul'dah leads to a tropical island paradise is not, in Flame Captain Maximillian Maximus' estimation, cause for celebration. Now-wanted-for-questioning (by the Order of Nald'Thal, as well as various legal entities) Monetarist Goldentail is said to be in hiding there, along with at least one other Person Of Interest: the Nunh of the Falling Stars, X'zarann Silverfall Nunh. The Captain is bringing a sizeable force through the portal, and has come to accept Adventurer assistance as one of the unfortunate necessities of unusual missions. "X'zarann lounging around on a tropical island.. so very suspiciously out of character. Is he really just going to hang out and watch Goldentail get arrested? He doesn't like her all that much, right now... then again these days I don't know what my brother is thinking." 1. Orrin Halgren 2. Naoh'a Aznable 3. Seito Moonclaw 4. S'imba Tia d) Shades of White (Saturday, September 16th, 2017, 7 pm CST) An unquiet soul needs to be put to rest. A message has appeared, to some few; written on a wall, a letter with no sender, a dream. 'A life lived in darkness does not always find the light once ended. For the sake of my children, the ghost of their father must be released from his undying rage, and hate. I beg your aid.' "...mother?" 1. X'cinna Ares 2. Zaphir Zurlac 3. R'shesha Otharn 4. Khunbish Adarkim Reserve List 1. Reis Okeya (second participation) 2. Lan Darklyn (second participation) 3. Orrin Halgren (second participation) HOUSE RULE: For Starsfall, players are allowed to, if they wish, purchase a Stunt (like any other stunt, this is not a bonus stunt, simply a bonus rule for Starsfall) that works in the following manner: +1 to a single skill, with a single, simple condition, otherwise always active. The cap to which a skill may be brought with this sort of Stunt is 5. NOTE: This Stunt is not available to characters who already have a natural +5 in a skill. I can make both.. mm, I'll sign up for a) since, well, An's not in Othard and neither is Kai. Also I'll go as An because the tale of a mighty warrior would be interesting to her, whereas Kai wouldn't really consider some guy working out his ego trip worth time that would be better spent feeding orphan kittens or destroying drug rings. -

Current event round is over, yay! Well, it was, Sunday. Results: One group of (possibly mind-controlled) arcanists confirmed alive, minus one. One minor war between Falling Star tribals and kobolds started. One heavily-armed, body-half-replaced-by-machinery psycho blown up (but probably not killed). One rich neighborhood secured. One not-void-portal secured. One mysterious armored knight villain (?) escaped. One innocent (?) rescued. Two villainous (?) soldiers slain. One major underling captured and comatose. One father discovered/confirmed. One tonberry, barely alive but rescued. One Fallen psychopath beaten senseless.(edited) -

Blazing lights through the sky, describing tails both beautiful and ominous as the stars fall... what will rise, in dust and ash, when they strike the earth? Act IV: Starlit Noon Scene II: Contrails Rumors and Story Aspects A febrile peace has settled upon Ul'dah. Those who pay attention to such things are of a mind that /Now is the Calm Before the Storm/. Newfound energy grips Ul'dah's underworld; between the strong front posed by the resilient Golden Pride, the sundering of monetarist mastermind Goldentail's estate, and the ill-concealed return to the public eye of formerly-disgraced master thaumaturge (and suspected voidmage) U'dorian the Grey, it seems it's /A Good Time to be Bad/. In the tundra lands below the mountains of Xelphatol, the Falling Stars, a previously unknown (and, if the rumors are true, violently xenophobic and inhumanly strong and tough) tribe of miqo'te are showing more interest in the outside world. Increased trading activity is gaining the attention of merchants everywhere, as are rumors of the tribals' fighting prowess, coupled with a newfound willingness to hire themselves out as mercenaries. One way or the other, /Interest in the Falling Stars/ is growing. a) Scholarly Pursuits (Saturday, August 5th, 2017, 6 pm CST) A delegation of seven scholars of Nym and their armed retinue - setting out to take counsel with reclusive and cantankerous tonberry Scholar Ibes Habes - have vanished somewhere between Camp Bronze Lake and their destination around the Floating City of Nym. Increased kobold activity has been noted. Investigators and fighters alike are sought. "Never seen the little bastards this agitated, except when they’re calling on sodding Titan. Try not to get blown up, or crushed, or what-have-you." 1. X'cinna Ares 2. Reis Okeya 3. Khira Lhizahla 4. b) Captain’s Collateral (Tuesday, August 8th, 2017, 6 pm CST) Captain Cortez of the Brass Blades of the Aster, hidden away after his jaw-cracking chastisement at the hands of a renowned Flame Captain, has made a sudden appearance at the gates of his (former?) employer Moiraine Astervane (AKA Goldentail). A speech and a skirmish later, the gates were blown open, and then what seems like a small-scale war began in the grounds of the reclusive Monetarist’s fortress-like estate. Then, voidsent. Flame Captain Maximillian Maximus has had enough. "We’ve got our damned hands full holding the perimeter and hunting down the flyin’ ones that got through while our pants were down. I’ve got half the bloody Syndicate screaming at me to restore order in one of the richest districts of Ul’dah. Get in there, close the damn void portal if it’s still open, and bring me back Cortez if there’s anything left of the fool!" 1. S'imba Tia 2. (Jana Ridah - laptop imploded, might need a replacement) 3. Seito Moonclaw 4. Virara Wakuwa 5. Alec Cromwell c) Knight Maneuvers (Friday, August 11th, 2017, 6:30 pm CST) (Rescheduling to Saturday, August 12th, 7:00 pm CST A darkly-armored figure has been spied lurking about Camp Dragonhead and the Snowfire Locks, and on one occasion was witnessed slaying a rogue aevis, and on another, meeting with what looked like armsmen of House Fortemps. Though many believe it to be simply a people-shy adventurer, Inquisitor Brigie believes otherwise. "With the end of the War, many believe the Inquisition to now be irrelevant. Not so. There are still threats to our nation, and they must be met, be it with bright lance upon the battlefield, or subtle knife in the shadows. We slacken our vigil at our own peril, in an age where zealots and former heretics alike conspire to undermine Ishgard’s hard-won peace." 1. R'shesha Otharn 2. V'aleera Lhuil 3. Vael'a Ruhne 4. d) The Problem With Psychopaths (Sunday, August 13th, 2017, 6 pm CST) X’ogun Tia, Fallen, chief advisor to X’zarann Silverfall Nunh of the Falling Stars sept, has posted a leve. Stupid mountains. Stupid X’ogun. Stupid electric puffballs - who ever heard of this! Magic THINGS just floating! The Outside world was crazy. And stupid. Stupid and crazy and also stupid but not as stupid as X’ogun and his stupid orders. Who put HIM in charge! Stupid Vurr and her being reasonable and patient all the time. Though she was usually right. But she was tired of being reasonable and patient. She was a Warrior! More than that, she was a FALLEN, one of X’zarann’s chosen! She stopped, with a sudden, despairing sound. Where WAS X’zarann! She missed him so. Was he neglecting her because she hadn’t… no, don’t think of that. Vurr said it wasn’t a factor, that was her word, not a factor, that he had a plan, and he was busy. Why couldn’t he be busy with her! She’d love to be busy with him. She’d keep him so busy, he wouldn’t have time for weird toys or old tombs or confusing plots or other huntresses… “Gah, focus!” she growled, before resuming her pace. This place was full of cracks and traps, those funny walking rock monsters that looked like X’zam (only not as ugly, hah) and coeurls and silly, silly birds and those STUPID electric puff jerks. It took her forever to fix her tail after she killed that last one (though she DID kill it, blew it right up, BOOM!). Stupid puff jerk. It was also full of floating rocks! That was actually really interesting. This seemed like the kind of place X’zarann would like. Floating rocks, and buildings, Outsider houses, tall and narrow, up on some of them. Some of them were very far out, but some of them she could almost reach. Jumping off one of those walls. This whole place looked like someone got mad and destroyed it, but it must have been a long time ago, because the only bodies were the ones she was making. She did find traces of other hunting, and there was that scouting patrol, all in the silly really visible red clothes. Outsiders were so stupid! She saw them from malms away! It made hiding their bodies harder though (even dead they were stupid!), so she dragged them to the edge of that really high cliff and threw them as hard as she could. She wasn’t supposed to be making it TOO easy for anyone to track her. The rogadodos were hard to throw, but she still managed. She was Fallen, after all. Her attention returned to the floating houses. How to reach? Maybe she should have kept one of those red Outsiders alive. Magic was weird and creepy and she wanted nothing to do with it except when it was really useful, like for making things fly apparently! Flying would be really useful. Maybe- A sudden flash of light cut through her reverie like a spear through the brain, and she froze, watching. There! Excitement, tail slowly stirring, not making a sound as she sees… What? This was her quarry? This tiny green thing? She watched in disbelief as it waddled out from the shade of the wall where there had been nothing before. Waddled! It was as clumsy as a newborn kitten! It moved so slowly.. Why had X’ogun sent her to kill THIS useless thing? Was he mocking her? Sudden anger… but then, she remembered Vurr’s advice, and calmed herself. Patience. Think now. This thing must be dangerous. X’ogun was smart, he wouldn’t waste her on something that wasn’t important (he wouldn't dare!). But it looked so small and helpless that it was hard to take it seriously. She would kill it quickly and be done. Like a ghost, she moved closer. It heard nothing. It was even talking to itself! Killing something so stupid would be a mercy. She readied her lunge. “...admixture of appropriate humours in the Crucible resulting in...” She froze, a chill running up her spine. What had it said? Had it said The Crucible? “...aetherial investiture permitting heightened states of energy, albeit at the cost of… hmm?” She realized it had seen her. Those large, yellow eyes were not as blind as they looked. She expected it to flee, or attack, and cursed her inattention… “Ah, one of the breeding females. With ritual tattooing? Or simply paint? The pre-intellectual tendencies adopted by animalistic breeds remain fascinating on a visceral level. Do the markings denote some rank in social echelon invisible among the males? No, unless signifiers of hierarchy operate on multiple levels. Scents, perhaps, or adornments. Perhaps the female can be made to volunteer an explanation. Well?” It stared at her. She stared back. “What?” It threw its tiny arms up and she tensed, expecting magic, but then it flopped down onto the ground and flailed. She stared at it some more. “Alas! Once more and in seemingly uninterruptible pattern my genius is constrained by the cranial limits of fractionally-witted thugs, far better suited to bearing litters of offspring with their exaggerated bosoms and improperly suggestive thigh gaps than to contributing even so little as an unlettered student's share of intellectual discourse - what was I thinking! Alas I was not, unfortunately, for clearly the onus rests solely upon me in this company, nay perhaps this entire age. Oh, what a- ouch!!” She had initially begun to preen as her breeding qualities were praised, but had grown increasingly bored as the small green thing rambled on, and ON.. and so finally she got bored and knocked it in the big, round head with the butt of her spear. To make it stop, but also because it was funny. Then, for good measure, she kicked it onto its back (“oof!” Hee hee!) and poked its belly with the sharp tip of her weapon. It gasped. She grinned. “Stupid green tiny Outsider! Tell me more about The Crucible!” She had had what others would call an epiphany, which was not a word she knew. X’ogun had sent her to kill this tiny, useless Outsider because it knew things. Things about The Crucible. Things she wanted to know. She would know everything it knew, before she killed it. How much could a stupid little Outsider know, anyway?

Though distant, the celestial bodies in the sky shed their light upon our lives. The moon and stars wheel and guide, beckoning from afar, while the sun's radiance brings light and life. Yet stars can fall, and the sun's light unchecked may yet burn all things to ash... Act IV: Starlit Noon Scene I: Purrsuit Rumors and Story Aspects A febrile peace has settled upon Ul'dah. In the tundra lands below the mountains of Xelphatol, the Falling Stars, a previously unknown (and, if the rumors are true, violently xenophobic) tribe of miqo'te are showing more interest in the outside world. Increased trading activity is gaining the attention of merchants everywhere, as are rumors of the tribals' fighting prowess, coupled with a newfound willingness to hire themselves out as mercenaries. a) A Proper Tribute (Monday, June 12th, 2017, 7:30pm CST) For some, it's not enough to wait for trouble; it must instead be sought out and embraced intimately (or pushed onto its knees and made to embrace you). What opportunities might arise for those well-positioned to exploit them? Partners in cat-astrophe S'imba and Evangeline have decided to enter ancient Allagan ruins to seek a gift for... someone. Something incredible! Powerful! Probably lined with blue strip-lighting! They probably shouldn't go alone. "It's in Thanalan, well, the exit, I'm sure it's totally safe since the Warrior of Light went through there. And all the stuff just lying around! We go in, take the stuff, blow up anything we don't like. It's a PERFECT plan." 1. S'imba Tia 2. Evangeline Mcbeef 3. Virara Wakuwa 4. Chachanji Gegenji b) Little Green Friends (Saturday, June 10th, 2017, 2 pm CST) In the reclusive, mysterious and distant locale of Camp Bronze Lake, former (and once-more!) Scholar of the legendary city of Nym Ibes Habes has been working diligently to unlock ancient memories and recover the secrets of his once-contemporaries. More than a year ago he was asked to try to remember what he could of that sect of Nymians who created, however inadvertently, the Falling Stars miqo'te so long ago. Maybe it's time someone checked in on him. "How can one work under such conditions! Immoral women constantly seeking to press their bosoms against one's head! Giant men with too-short towels wrapped around their waists, strutting around with no care to who sees! Must I go back to the Floating City itself to find a moment's peace?!" 1. X'cinna Ares 2. Naoh'a Aznable 3. (Orrin Halgren) S'imba subbed in 4. An! c) A Maniac's Mansion (Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, 5 pm CST) Goldentail and X'zarann Nunh vanished into the aether, but infamous Thaumaturge (and rumored Black/Void Mage) U'dorian the Grey believes he can track them, as long as he can have access to the point of their departure. Determined to see their threat ended, R'shesha Otharn now seeks ingress into the manor grounds, and to find a way to make a clear path for U'dorian to do his thing. "Blades, probably wondering who's paying them now. Massive walls. Carnivorous flora. And that's before getting to the front door. Assuming the front door's even there, still. Those were some explosions." 1. R'shesha Otharn 2. Reis Okeya 3. Zaphir Zurlac 4. Orrin Halgren Reserve List 1. Khira Lhizahla 2. Jana Ridah 3. Orrin Halgren 4. Artoria Aldsan HOUSE RULE: For Starsfall, players are allowed to, if they wish, purchase a Stunt (like any other stunt, this is not a bonus stunt, simply a bonus rule for Starsfall) that works in the following manner: +1 to a single skill, with a single, simple condition, otherwise always active. So we can spend a Minor Milestone to purchase one of these? :? Well, yes, at the cost of another stunt or permanent FP. Like any Minor usage!
