1. Okay so sappy moment; I want to have Chika grow old with her lover, T'urnessa, and raise a family with her. After having kids, and great grand kids, they'd be very old and gray. Preferably both die at the same time, holding each other, after saying their good nights and 'I love you' (and yes this has been planned out already)
2. Chika has a lot... She hates getting her ears wet. Often when it rains you'll see her flicking her ears back and forth to clear the water off of them. Sailing, and boats she cannot stand. Chika gets horrid sea sickness. ADORES wearing her Choral Chapeau. It is her beloved hat, and she is almost seen with it on when out in public. Despite having money, generated by her business 'Sew Beautiful', she doesn't buy butcher meat. Instead she always goes out and hunts for her lover, and their kids. A majority of her back is covered in whip lash scars. Healed over with time, but are no longer fading. Chika can draw fairly well actually. Sketching is one of her talents. She was taught how to by the weavers in Ul'dah, for tailoring purposes of course. But has since branched outward in drawing. She has even done a nude of her lover. While she can read, she cannot read large descriptive words. So you'll hardly ever catch a book in her hands that doesn't have weaving patterns in it. Her lover is actually teaching her how to read more. Being a mother of four children she's learned to have a lot of patience....with kids. Her tolerance for the ignorance, and immaturity, of some full grown adults annoys the piss out of her to no end. Has an incredibly short temper with adults. Cannot use her Aether due to the choker around her neck. She has many more, and I could spend all day doing this, but I won't ^^
3. Thank you so much everyone for getting back to me. I really want to be able to draw, and to learn how, so I was wondering if the tablet would be the best choice. You have all be very helpful and I greatly appreciate it I've followed most of you, if not all, on the RPC forums when I see your commission, or artsy, threads. I love getting commissions done, and I want to be able to possibly draw some of my own for friends, and such. Again thank you, and you all helped a great deal.
4. @ Tiergan - Sweetie, good art is worth the wait <3 That is why we all show so much patience. Plus a lot of us adore you.
5. All right I don't have a lick of talent when it comes to drawing with a pen or a pencil. So my question to those who do commissions, and have tablets, do you find it easier drawing on one than on paper? And which do you draw better on?
6. WELCOME While I do not have a chicken, I do have a :chocobo:
7. He should Money is always good! Plus Chika wouldn't mind
8. Chika, and I, are both very ready for it
9. @ Titor - We can always set up a date, and a time, that she can take his measurements and make his outfit if you want ^^ @ Ryoko - That was positively adorable! We can always set up a time to role play as well Thank you both for the interest you have shown <3
10. Here's my thought on it. An artist can draw something amazing, beautiful even, but I think if the artist roleplays it allows them to give a life to whatever they are drawing. It's not just some pretty colors on some paper, it's a living, breathing thing. Also, Balmung is amazing. c: I agree fully with this! Also a very well drawn piece <3 I like it
11. On the market board of one of the major cities, that you find yourself roaming this fine afternoon, there is a piece of parchment that is tacked up. It reads; 'Sew Beautiful is a tailor shop locatedin Red Rooster Stead. It caters to the needs of the many by offering, and providing, beautifully crafted clothing made from the finest of ingredients. Everything is hand made from the thread that is used to bind it all together, to the bolts of fabric. If you are looking for an exquisite article of clothing, made with attentiveness and passion, for a low price please stop in today! Contact Chika Ito in order to set up appointments for special orders' Out of character; If you would like to do a role play where your character gets a piece of clothing made please contact me on here, and we can set up a time and a date! The times listed on there are merely for in character purposes for I am not always online and just generally assume that is when she meets her clients, and the shop is open. The shop itself is located in Ward 6 of the Mist, plot 18, room 19 (Called Chika's Chambers) but in role play it is a small home built in Red Rooster Stead.
12. I know this really isn't 'gear' customized, per-say, but I would LOVE the ability for there to be no gender restrictions on gear. God dammit I want Chika to be able to wear a male yukata! Plus I know several men who would rock out dresses pretty hard. Also, like Coatleque mentioned, suits. Suits that can be worn by both genders
13. *anxiously awaits Chika's!* I want to marry your artwork, seriously. You, hun, are incredibly talented.
14. Please accept my money in exchange for a drawing ;~;
15. Welcome! Hope to see you around ^^ I do hope you find Balmung to your liking. There are a lot of sweet people here, and everyone if welcoming and kind. Well out of character anyway hehe. If you ever want to role play, hit me up
16. Your art is beautiful. Do commissions for gil? :cactuar: Agreed! Say you did a quick portrait sketch for someone. Nothing OVERLY awesome, like you usually do with colors and such, and charge gil for them you would make a lot of money Ros as a great idea.
17. Slavery. That word doesn't sit well with her in the slightest. It makes blood boil, and the auburn fibers along her tail to bristle slightly. Just hearing it leaves a rather bitter taste in her mouth that could be compared to swallowing stale cough medicine. Never has she understood the concept of trapping someone, and forcing them into hard work labor, or using them as tools of sexual gratification. Why? Is getting off really that important that it holds more regard over another human's life, and freedom? Thin brows knit together, creases forming in the lightly tanned flesh as she mauls over what the men had told her. No contact with anyone outside of the brothel. Never even left the rooms, and tortured halls. Prisoners in a house, and refused to be allowed to be independent. Refused the right to live. From her lungs a long exhale is releases in the form of a sigh. It isn't directed at the gentleman before her, but more of the situation in general. What those people had to endure, had to go through. "I would be honored to give it a try." Her voice is soft, hitching above a whisper. For a moment her gaze lowers to the make shift desk, and Rahz falls into silence. Ears wilt back, and after a silent minute her voice can be heard again. "Make no mistake this will not be an easy undertaking. Your friends, the people you are in charge of, their lives are going to be changing. They'll have to face some rather difficult challenges a head on the road to recovery, but I will go as gently as I can with them to guide them through the process."
18. I've out of character dyed my Chocobo white. Here is how I am playing it off in character; Chika is a mother to four kids, and sometimes with owning a business keeping track of the kids can become a little difficult. She has Nessa to help her, but the twins (who are seven) can be a bit of a handful. During their chores Chika's personal stable, that she has on her property for Runt (her Desert Yellow Chocobo) and Ryker (her Coeurl), they 'accidentally' over fed Runt. He ended up becoming very obese due to the amount of over feedings. Since Runt is so large now, and Chika has to work on getting him to lose weight, she is in the market for a new Chocobo. That is when she comes across Sterre (meaning 'star' in Dutch). I have yet to figure out a mini-arc for her to obtain the white Chocobo, but it is a good way to suddenly explain how the plumage changed.
19. I had heard a rumor about the personal housing price from a friend. Apparently it will not be any cheaper than 800k for a house. That's as low as it may possibly go for. I imagine, when it comes out, it'll be several mil for the smallest possible.
20. Take care please, and I hope things can be sorted out easily. We're all here for you
21. What Crisiet said. What Warren said What .. crap he doesn't have a name. I really like your portrait style! His name is Franz. I'll edit this post if you edit yours. What they ALL said I want one! *grabby hands*
22. Welcome back If you ever want to role play, let me know. I am usually always in character
23. Happy birthday A Realm Reborn! Since we are all sharing our tales about how we came to the game I was actually 'asked' to buy the game. I was back on WoW playing with my friends on there. T'shina Vashka is my great friend of 8 years, so when A Realm Reborn was announced she began poking around. Most of the guild members, in the company I was apart of on there, were going to be leaving WoW to come to FFXIV. I watched the trailers, and I was a bit iffy on it. The first, and only, Final Fantasy game I played was FF 10 for Playstation 2. T'shina approached me about the game, and 'asked' me to come along and try with everyone. By 'asked' I mean beat me in the face with a virtual newspaper until I caved Joking aside though I figured I would give it a try so I waited until their open Beta, and I fell in love with the game from level 1. To this day I love the game more and more with each patch. I've found that the love I have for it has tripled since moving to Balmung. I am excited to see what they have planned for the future! So here is to many more patches *raises glass* cheers!
