Steak, eggs, hash-browns, and toast for Chika! She wakes up early every day to cook breakfast for her love, and their kids. It mostly consists of eggs, toast (or french toast), and waffles! Sometimes hash-browns, and/or meat of some sort like steak, sausage, or bacon! http://hikingnorthernmichigan.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/steak-and-eggs1-1024x768.jpg[/img]

*NSFW* ERP- should both IRL partners be okay with it?
Chika Ito replied to thatgirl's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
You should have left him after the first time he cheated on you, despite whether you love him or not. No one should have to put up with that. Also people who ERP, most of them, are not a bunch of perverts. Careful love, throwing insults will get you no where. Most choose to do intimate role play because of character development. Don't lump a few bad apples into the whole basket with the good ones. Just because he does it to you, and gets sexual enjoyment out of it, doesn't mean others do the same. Lastly if he doesn't respect your stance on it, and disregards your feelings, dump his ass already. -
I tend to stick to one-on-one mostly, and small groups. I've done the big group interactions multiple times, and it is too fast paced, and hard to follow with everyones' /em and say filling the chat box. As for the pace of things I like drawn out character development, but fast paced can be pleasing too. Chika's happily taken by T'urnessa, and though their bond formed rather swift, I wouldn't change it for the world. Both characters mesh so well personality wise, and have connected on many levels. Their interactions are always fun to play, and heart melting. So fast, slow, doesn't really matter to me ^^ War/battle role play isn't something I often do. Back on a forum based role play I was fairly good at animal fighting, but my role play fighting on a more humanoid character is extremely rusty, and I am rather new to it. I tend to avoid putting myself into physical brawls because of this. I do, however, enjoy beating the crap out of my characters Tragedy is something I feel is one of my strongest points, along with romance, because I can funnel a lot of emotions, and detail into my posts. I like the role plays that are so deep, so moving, it actually brings me to tears at times. That is when you know you've helped create something great!

You said tv, and it does air, but isn't really 'real' actors. So uh yea >>; Anyway Chika's is in the spoiler box. The reason why I picked this person is because she is an awesome protective mother who gives her children their space, but still wants the best for them. Also when it comes to what she can do she is fairly skilled at it. I won't give away full details, but she is the matriarch of her people too, which fits very well with Chika's own story.

Chika, in character, is fairly wealthy. She has her own business, and while role players might not often frequent her shop I do claim that NPC's request things (leves, those too *nods*) The gil I have generated through means of selling things on the market, and such, I do not consider in character. There is only so much gil one person can make at a time really, and it depends on what is in demand. I don't want to cripple myself with my laziness

Does your character have any unfair Bias or Discrimination?
Chika Ito replied to Kage's topic in Character Workshop
Well I don't know if this counts, but Chika was once asked her preferences on romantic partners and races. She doesn't like Lalafells because they look too much like a kid, and Roes could break her. Outside of that, however, Elezen. She dislikes a lot of Elezen because the ones she has come across have been stuck up (She was once helping serve at a party, a male Elezen treated her like she was worth dirt and a slave. She put raptor piss in his drink ) -
We love it so much! Thank you

How do people view the fighting on the Carteneau Flats?
Chika Ito replied to LiveVoltage's topic in RP Discussion
So are you saying, if you and I ever went up against each other in Frontlines, and I took you down you would consider your character dead? Personally I cannot kill someone's character without their permission. A lot of people in role play communities have that 'don't kill my character without my consent' rule. It's pretty much agreed upon by a good majority of role players. It isn't right, nor justified, to out right say you killed someone's character without giving them the proper chance, or the ability, to say 'hey I don't agree with this happening'. Outright killing someone's character, without the other person having a consent, that is God Modding. If your character enjoys killing someone have you possibly considered asking a friend, or two, to make a throw away character? It's not the same, obviously, but in the end no one will be hurt, or pissed, that you just wasted months worth of their time/work/effort/energy. The quest explains accidents happen. Accidents, not out right 'yea we slay people'. It's more like 'no we try to subdue them, but sometimes things get a little out of hand and mistakes happen'. So it isn't a constant blood bath. -

Chika Ito replied to LiveVoltage's topic in RP Discussion
I go with subduing honestly. Any time I role play out PvP matches at the end I say that the amount of deaths I get are how many times my character was knocked out. -
Sent you a moogle last night with your payment

I'm on a little bit of a hiatus from the game until my friends drop off my new system in two weeks. I won't be getting on much, but you if ya'll want a role play just message me on here and I will most certainly get on ^^

New battle pose, chocobo in the housing area, sands and goodies at the end of ST, hug/slap emote, new way to find a recipe you know by clicking arrows. As a hard core crafter that is the best thing, by far, they put in.

I've been reading the posts as they appear about personal housing. Here is my input; Personal housing is something that I know a lot of my friends have been looking forward to. I, myself, have been hoping for it for a while. To the point all the last bit of August, and the start of September, I was doing nothing but grinding out gil constantly. Hours upon hours spent, and now it seems that I have just wasted my time. Myself, as one person (even with the help of a few friends), can only obtain so much gil at one time. I fell 1.5 million short of the cheapest house. To have come so close, and yet be so far, is disappointing. Here is where I am upset; they rushed. It is clearly evident that they rushed so quick to produce an item that majority of the player base wanted. Instead of saying (like someone mentioned earlier) 'we do not have the resources or space to do personal housing' or 'hey it's a huge undertaking it will be a long time yet, but we'll get there' they just did copy and paste coding from Free Company housing. Only perk you don't have to be in a Rank 6 Free Company in order to purchase one. That's it. Not only do you have to compete with large amount of other players for housing, you also have to fight with Free Companies. Personally I am glad I couldn't afford a house because I'd be taking a home from a company that probably worked for months to get a plot. NOTE! I am not condemning anyone for getting a house. I'm just saying I'm happy I couldn't because of my views on it. They should have taken a lot more time with this project. Waited until they could have the server space to produce neighborhoods, not wards, for personal housing. Okay get ready to pour tar and chicken feathers on me....*sighs In my mind they should only make two sized homes. One being a standard, which has a ground floor, and a basement. Then a deluxe version which has three floors instead of two. Or just make all player homes the same size, and the same price. I know a lot of my friends, who spend time trying their damnedest to earn gil, that haven't even seen a million. Sure you have quests, roulettes, crafting, etc but sometimes that just isn't enough to grind up 80 million gil. And the topic of availability came up too. There are several games out there that Yoshi's team could have used as a guide book for player housing. Some examples below; Lord of the Rings Online; they have standard and deluxe homes. Sure the customization is a bit dull, but you have a house. It's rather cheap too! 7 gold for a deluxe, and I believe 3-4 for a standard? It's been a while since I have been on there. They have neighborhoods where the homes are located. What happens to inactive houses/players? Well you pay rent. You do not 'own' the house. It pay a small fee, or a large sum up front, for rent. When you cannot make your rent, you are given a grace period, and if that time runs out you're evicted from your house. Wildstar; I didn't play the game for long. I actually had a seven day trial from an old friend. Player housing is there too. You can put a lot of things on your land, and do so much to your house! Each home is instanced, and it works out fairly well. You can open the instance to other players, or just friends, or keep it private. You can invite people at your will. All subscribers get a free starter home. Star Wars: The Old Republic; this game just recently released their homes know as 'strongholds'. If you were a member when they came out, or joined before a certain deadline (which has passed I think) you got a free home. Homes there are instanced as well. You can have it open to everyone, or private and hand out keys to your friends and guild mates. What they do on there, however, is give you one HUGE place. But there is a catch. You have to use in game money, or out of game money, to expand your stronghold. Rift is another game, but I never played it. My point is they could have taken the time to work on this project, and make it so much better than it is. They rushed. There are other games out there that they could have obtained ideas from, but sadly they just copied the Free Company housing for it. The prices, in my opinion, are very extreme. How can one person possibly obtain that? A few mil, sure. 80 mil? Impossible unless they spend a crap ton of time on game, playing the market, selling Coil runs, etc. Since they didn't spend enough time, or work, on the project they could have at least released prices several months ago instead of keeping it a closely guarded secret until patch night so people could actually know how much they needed, or if it would just be some long shot. To those who are upset by the housing situation, you have every right to be. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I understand how frustrating it is. To have spent so much time, energy, and put faith into something only to be lied to, and misguided. Last night when I saw the prices I threw my hands up, and said 'nope!' and I went to bed. I didn't bother patching until today. I didn't have the money, and honestly my desire to get a house was shot all to hell. Hang in there guys and gals

If I read it correctly, they are just adding two new wards of FC housing. The "personal housing" part is that now individuals can buy FC houses at the same cost an FC would normally spend. Thank you for clearing that up for me. This fucking blows.

I have a migraine, and am exhausted, can someone be kind enough to explain the housing situation please. Thank you.

Chika and T'urnessa are getting a place in Limsa. Chika's business is there. Plus Ul'dah is too hot for her liking, and Nessa is afraid of the Shroud because of a bad history there. So Limsa it is!

Roswyn said it perfectly. I think you should also sit down, and clearly think about what you want. I'm not trying to persuade you out of it, but if it is a 'you die, and you stay dead' situation you need to ensure that you've thought things through with a clear mind. I've killed several of my mains off in the past in other MMOs, and on role play forums. In my mind it is a bit difficult, because like Roswyn mentioned there are mixed feelings that come into play. Just be sure you are making the right decision ^^
