  1. High fives, buddy. Glad you were able to get it. Now keep at it!
  2. Awwwwww yisss, lalafell! Always happy to see lalas about.
  3. AHHHH I seriously can't stop giggling and it's probably going to be a problem THANK YOU so much. THANK YOU. *___*
  4. Jajara Jara (Goldsmith, Blacksmith, Miner) Dunesfolk female, aged 29. Services Offered: Forging of tools, parts, and jewelry. Gemstones cut and polished to perfection! Repairs and materia settings performed on location. No finer jewelry in all of Ul'dah*. Need metals or minerals from the wilds of Eorzea? Save yourself the headache. Jajara Jara, Rockhound of the Sagolii, can be on the job for a modest fee. * Probably. You'll like it anyway, guaranteed.
  5. She breathed. La Nocsea was peculiar to her, too salty and too cool and far, far too blue for her tastes. She breathed it in, staring hard at a large stone that sat in the middle of a field just off the road. Deep gouges marked it's face: at least sixteen of those and counting were made by her alone. It felt heavy and unwieldy to her despite the fact that she had crafted it herself, honed the blade by hand and fitted the shaft to her own specifications. 'Never were much for them,' she thought to herself. 'What's a gal to do if it ain't with her hands?' She breathed and raised the blade evenly with both hands, her body dropping into a slight crouch. It was her way, of course; the past few days had seen their ups and downs all dulled out by the near constant hammering of metals and ores. Five hundred and thirty three ingots all nearly identical; another two hundred rivets drummed out until the memory belonged more to her hands than her mind. It was the work that helped her focus and so she poured her soul along with every mold, filed away her troubles and drowned them in sweat. It wasn't her fault. To think so would have been foolish and though Jajara Jara counted herself a fool she knew the blame could not fall to her. It did not stop her from breathing, however. Seventeen strikes down, marked with a grunt and a clang, it did not stop her regretting.
  6. Jajara was raised to be faithful and has recently been reconnecting with her spirituality. Oschon and Byregot are her favored Gods though she does her best to honor all of them whenever she can. Thanks to a friend, she's been visiting the Sanctum of the Twelve on a somewhat regular basis.
  7. I think it depends on the character. My lala does get coddled by some people still and for the most part it irritates her, but there are plenty of others who do treat her just like they might any other person.
  8. I think this whole thread is making me Hyper conscious of Mistells now -.- rofl Never trust /r. NEVER. ;___;
  9. A friend and I were rping in /tells as the contents of said RP could have been taken as inappropriate though IMO it was quite innocent. It was my turn to respond to a kiss - just a kiss!! - and so I did. But not after one of my favorite people on Balmung managed to sneak a /tell in also and.. intercepted it. x______x Like I said it wasn't anything awful but it still makes me mega embarassed just thinking about it now.
  10. I have a hard time with this mainly because I am terrified of being seen as annoying or irritating. And folks will tell me that it's okaay, they don't mind, etc. but I just can't. ~___~ Personal anxiety issues are really hard to break, yo.
  11. It was a beautiful time. SE did what arguably many would have balked at, they turned the failure and the desire to rebuild into a story line itself. 100% agree with you. Makes me wish I was able to be a part of it myself... Wow. Seriously gives me an even deeper appreciation for this (these?) game.
  12. Holy crap, wow. That's really unsettling...
  13. *huuugs* Really curious to see how this turns out!
  14. Why is my favorite thing the enormous ears? So verrry very lovely. Is that Gharen...?
  15. (( There are a lot of things about this whole thing that didn't sit so well with me, and I suppose in a way I am somewhat relieved that nothing seems to have come of it. I certainly never heard of anything IC - nothing about members of XI:7 being enemies of Limsa Lominsa, nor of them being under suspicion of anything by anyone, much less an officer of the Maelstrom itself. My character has practically been living in Limsa for some time now and is quite open about being XI:7, but... nothing. It isn't, ahem, shrugging anything off if there isn't anything happening. Your attitude here is no more helpful than your reputation in-game, 'Princess' Reppu. I do have to echo some of the others here and wonder how the in-game rank of a single player could condemn an entire FC worth of people as being criminals? Never mind that the FC in question stands at sworn with the Maelstrom in-game. Does the rank of an individual outweigh the reputation of a free company? How should we interpret the discrepancy? If there are XI:7 with the same rank as yours, can they effectively revoke your 'order'? I like to think I can be reasonably flexible with certain aspects of meta-gaming if there is going to be some potentially interesting conflicts, but there's only so much one can throw out there before folks decide it isn't worth taking too seriously. Honestly I do like what you tried to do, but I definitely disagree with how it was handled. In the future, please remember that nobody owes you any RP, especially RP stemming from an unreasonable situation to begin with. ))
  16. Good to have you on Balmung! Please feel free to look Jajara up sometime. Miner and goldsmith by profession and always eager to make new friends!
  17. I am always pleased to see more lovely lalafell. \o/
  18. Feel free to say /hello if you see a little Jajara Jara around! She probably wouldn't be much of a rival (unless Nathaniel is a fellow goldsmith!) but she's always looking to meet make new friends. :>
  19. It's okay! I'm still 100% in love. THANK YOU.
  20. BUT HOW DO I MAKE A LALAFELL EVEN CUTER AND SMALLER ):
