I love how to give us more inventory slots they literally have to give themselves a larger physical inventory .. I am however also having some flashback moments to Titan HM in the early days before they "fixed" the lag to what the EU lag is at now which is already kinda on the line.. (: Oh boy.

Healer meeting on 15/3 2017! 9pm GMT / 5PM ET! The agenda will center around the current going-on's, an upcoming event or two, and will otherwise contain free debate between the healers. There'll be tea too, of course! If you plan on attending and have any specific topic you'd like to bring on, let Maril know in advance and it'll get put on for sure! The event is open to all healers, of all sorts (not just magic!) and also healers who are not yet affiliated icly with the linkshell but would like to become affiliated. Due to troubles with figuring out when our NA-primetime-only healers can show up, if more of you let me know what times generally suit yous, I will try to get a healer meeting going for those who have been prevented by the earlyish times us Europeans tend to function at. Hello! I'd love to get in on this for one of my alts, I have always been sticking to ranged-types for fighting skills but that doesn't suit this character in particular. So some mentoring might be a good way to get more of a grasp of it. We could figure something out

Over time most FC's will experience having to remove people. It can be fairly benign, such as incompatibilities with the theme or RP style or it can just be down to drama. It's really nothing unusual either that people who were removed with drama to follow will try to flame and spread rumors as others have mentioned. My personal experience, with both rumors about a person and rumors about a free company, is that the good stuff you do will outweigh the bad - and at the end of the day, if people buy into the rumorstream, then they're probably people who you don't want to collect that many of anyways. It's easy to get obsessed over what people think of you/your fc, and having people around you who are keen on never interacting with anyone they've heard a bad rumor about is just going to make things worse. So, even though it's hard, try to shrug it off ^^

The more you do, the more you reach out and throw hooks at people, the easier it'll become. Sometimes it takes a while, but sitting about and waiting for things to happen is going to take longer. [align=center]No Strings Attached[/align] No Strings Attached , is a theme-less FC that exists solely to help people get access to housing, in the shape of FC rooms. This is for you who: [align=left] Missed out on the opportunity to buy an apartment. Needs additional space for your RP, but struggle in Balmung's tight housing market. Are more of a solo player, who does not depend on an FC to structure RP or, Has an alt that can be placed in the FC to hold the room on. The requirements to purchase a room is to be minimum level 50, and you need to have all of your grand company quests completed. It doesn't matter which grand company you are in. Additionally, FC rooms cost 300.000 gil. The FC will not offer or guarantee: Regular activity. Events & Storylines. Things that other regular FC's provide. This is not a regular FC. [/align] When you join the FC, you have two choices for reasoning the existence of your room: - You can note that the room exists elsewhere. In an apartment building, that it's actually a house in the woods, under the stairs in a muggle house.. It's entirely up to you. In this case you'll be placed on the rank "OOC". Or - Make use of the house's setting: [align=left]It is designed as a regular old inn, called The Ol' Dusty. It is run/owned by (NPC) Maxwell Brokenblade, who after retiring from a life in the mercenary trade has decided to settle down and make a living off of running an inn. It features a small cozy bar in the basement, and is of a standard quality - not too cheap and not too expensive. In this case you'll be placed on the rank "IC". The house is located in The Goblet, Ward 4, plot number 16.[/align] You can stay in the FC for as long or little as you'd like. You wont be kicked for inactivity. There's no limits on what kind of RP you can do there. You can even hold events in the house if you feel like it. The only requirement is that you act with common sense and common decency in mind. Try to leave OOC drama at the door, and respect other people's RP. If this sounds like something you'd like, drop a message in this thread or send me a PM. Thanks for the welcome! Can I ask for advice for finding any RP? I been drifting though the Limsa and Gridania taverns looking for some peeps but been rather unlucky. I tend to avoid Ul'dah due to its massive activity. Prefer more quite settings so Its easier to focus on the conversation. Was also thinking of just questing. Hoping to find rp in the wilds Well, unfortunately Ul'dah is really the main hub for random RP. The Quicksand can be both busy and really quiet, and the quality of the RP can variate. But at least from personal experience, if you're willing to sit through it, you can sometimes get some really good and memorable RP & connections out of it. What I'd suggest you do is head over to the Making Connections section, where you can make a more detailed thread that explains what your character is about and mention some hooks (Check through other peoples posts for inspiration). That may prompt people to reach out to you to plan some RP. I would also suggest that you try to join some linkshells - you can have a look in the linkshell hall - there are a few EU focused ones (where you might find some that can RP during your available times) and several that encourage RP by themes, some are IC and some are OOC. If you are proactive about establishing connections, it'll get you a good chunk of the way towards having regular RP. As for RP in the wilds, it's great when you can find it, but it doesn't happen a whooole lot - the housing areas have unfortunately contributed towards more people being holed up rather than out there in the world.

Welcome aboard! o/ Balmung has roleplay just about 24/7, so I definitely think you can find some Your times pair up with the european afternoon, and there's quite a few europeans around on the server so maybe there's some that can do those hours Have fun and good luck.

Next open clinic event is on the 27th! The next two times have been cancelled due to me being abroad and unable to get IC. Try not to fall over dead in the meantime!
