They don't adjust outcomes in any way I've seen other than changing a bit of the conversation, as some of them happen during story cutscenes they can be skipped entirely without any effect on progress. Then viewed at the inn so you can see the differences.

I may tinker with using character screenshots next by De-saturating the image, and attempting to see if I can age the pic. If they come out looking convincing enough I might make them by request.

Ok after some toying with the visible layers I managed the combined look I mentioned. Little annoyed with myself that I didn't think of this sooner.

This is true. I'm playing with screening the sketch layer over the sepia layer with gives it a combined look. As far as roughing up the edges I might look at that as well. But to be fair photo's and sketches made in the day would be squared off before going to the printing press giving them a similar look.

On occasion I've been known to mess around with Photoshop. I'm no graphic artist and I don't have even a fraction of the talent the artists on this site have, regardless, I hoped to share this and get folks opinions. OK so quick summary, Bryn has a fantastic picture of her character Brynhilde Wulf on the RPC. When I saw it it promptly reminded me of, well a mugshot. With her permission I used it to create two versions of this.

I buy my parts from newegg. And I've always found them to be reliable, Had a stick of ram go bad once (came in a package of two) and while the return policy demanded I send back both sticks before I get my replacement they were kind enough to send out the replacement sticks before I sent the bad one and the remaining good stick back so that I could continue to use my machine. Now, granted that is to say that I'm sure there are plenty of people that have gotten defective product from them.. that is unfortunately the nature of the beast I've just happened to have good experiences with them, in general

Gharen was born into a devout family that worshiped Halone and Azeyma, though due to experiences in his life cast away that faith. Recent events though after having left the grindstone have reconnected him to that faith resulting in his becoming a paladin.

It sounds like you're reading a little too much into it. "We only take the best" types of groups are generally looked down upon as elitist.. and I have not seen anything like that here on the RPC. What constitutes "good" RP is purely subjective. We all have our own unique style of RP, if you're new and willing to learn the ropes I'd say that's a good place to be.
