Hopefully we'll see it clamped down, though I do have to admit it's a bit disturbing to see many American players starting to open up Gil/Gold farming shops as well. I've gotten three messages today in about 4 hours advertising for one company. I doubt the "keyword" system is working as of yet.

Well, I've been finding synthing difficult. Based on this particular interpretation of orb colors, it seemed to be doing better, however after moving up from anything more difficult than spinning Moko Grass into thread, I'm seeing an instant 94% failure rate. Even the first "normal" synth attempt fails. I'm sitting at a Weaving Rank of 6, the stuff I'm trying to do seems to be either R1 or R2.

nonono I payed once I paid 20bucks for a $20 Ultimate Game Card logged onto the site and used it to buy 1000 crysta and then the remaining ballance(which was like $9 and change) are converted into points. I use those POINTS to buy 500 MORE crysta. I am left with under 500 points and unable to purchase anymore crysta until I add more points. BLARG So it's a double-Microsoft-point system, is that right? How lame.

Using Paypal, I didn't have to pay tax right away, though in the long run, I'll have to declare it for Utah's "Use Tax". It is a pain in the ass though. Let me get this straight, you paid tax twice for it? Once when buying the card itself, and once again when you turned it into UltimatePlay points?

It's not displaying on the FTP list. I see it as 32010.09.23.0000.rar. I'll see if I can't get a linkshell member to double-check.

I just grabbed it myself. Worked perfectly on my side. It's now on the FTP.

I don't mean disrespect here, but I don't recall too much of any real problem showing up. Yes, a few comments here and there were a bit unwarranted but that is all I can recall.

That's the 400MB one right? Did you let it download the metadata first? (You should see [PatchNumber].torrent in the corresponding metadata forlder.)

Make sure you overwrite the old incomplete patch file. If need be, move the actual D2010.09.18.0000.patch into the directory yourself.

Looks like the physical hardware ended up in a hardlock. It should be up and running now.

I may be seeing a massive amount of traffic on the FTP server. I'm working on it the best I can for now.

I compressed the two patches with an intact file structure for now. We'll see how it goes. EDIT: I'm currently seeing either a lot of usage (which is good), or my QOS settings aren't tweaked right. Either way I'm looking at averages of 500ms. No big deal since I intend to go to bed, but I'll be looking into that later tomorrow as I get my copy of FFXIV.

Naw man.. they're the wave of the future! 22GB is nothing for MMOs these days. I've gotten used to games being 20-30GB on average. As far as those patches go, I'm still deciding whether or not I'll be hosting them myself post-release. Edit: Doh.. FTP's offline. *grabs wrench*
