Just my two cents here on the Rogue's guild thing, and this might just be me, but the OP was talking about GC related, special forces. I don't think the Rogues Guild counts, sure they're an elite force that does sneaky things but they're not related to the Maelstrom at all, they're their own separate thing with their own mission which is to police pirates and make sure they're not hurting La Noscea. As can be seen they even tend to butt heads with the Yellowjackets. In short, if the theme of an elite force is all you're going for, they would likely apply but if it's official GC related unit that's 'special forces' they would not. That's just of course my opinion so take that as you will!

I'd definitely wander around one of these! IC markets have always seemed like they'd be a very fun thing to go to, and I've had some good experiences with a few, though I've never been to one on XIV before.

I'm not sure I want to really escape it just yet. But what I want to do with it personally is to actually -finish- it at some point. Not the whole "She rides off into the sunset never to be seen again." This right here actually, every single character I've played of this trope has never finished their story. They've never had resolve. They've either been phased out because the RP died or they've been killed at some point before anyone could change them or at least start them on a different path. I'd like to see them actually evolve to become something else or at least play out.

Siha would be curious and maybe just a bit wary of them at first, but overall I think sympathetic to them losing their home as that's all she'd really know from the beginning. That's about all I can offer without her having met one.
